I stayed at Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is modern, stylish, and set in a beautiful, quiet location overlooking the lake and parklands. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. It is a fantastic option for both business trips and leisure stays.

Spent approximately 4 days at the Conference Rooms for a Course. Venue is very well situated with friendly staff and great food. Others who stayed in the rooms were pleased with their stays. I had done day visits.
Very swish hotel. Modern (only built 4 years ago or so). Stunning room, with views of the Dandenong Mountain Range. Free parking. 24 hour decent gym. Best hotel shower I've probably ever experienced. Fancy restaurant and bar downstairs. Our floor has complimentary filtered water. Located near family we're visiting so will definitely stay here again. Restaurant serves breakfast too. Highly recommend. Very professional, friendly and helpful check-in and restaurant staff. All seem genuinely pleased to be there.
Dear Hyatt Team, I recently attempted to book a night’s accommodation at Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park and wanted to share my disappointment with the experience. My credit card details on your website had expired, and over the course of two days I tried repeatedly to update them. I believed I had successfully updated the card, however my wife later told me that no payment had left our account. I then attempted to complete the booking using my wife’s credit card, but the booking still would not go through. As we were already driving past the Hyatt the following day — the day we intended to stay — we decided to stop in and book the room in person. We explained the situation to the staff member at reception, so you can imagine our disappointment when we were simply told that the room was still available but the price had increased by 25%. What disappointed me most was not only the price increase, but the complete lack of assistance or understanding. There was no attempt to help resolve the credit card issue, no effort to honour the original rate, and no consideration shown as a Hyatt member. We were simply told, “That will be $240.” I know this may sound minor, but I genuinely enjoyed being a Hyatt member. I am not someone who signs up for loyalty programs or even carries loyalty cards, but being part of Hyatt felt different to me. I viewed Hyatt as a brand where customer loyalty actually mattered and where I belonged as a valued guest. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel that customer loyalty and long-term relationships are less important than simply charging the highest available rate. That was genuinely disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as I would like to believe that this experience is not representative of Hyatt’s usual standards. Kind regards, Kal Baker
Three stars is a little harsh, however whilst checking was seemless, the room are what I would say are you standard type room, nice, comfortable clean nothing really to say bad about them. However, I only stayed here as they house le petite chef (see my other review on that) and being I was going the wine pairing with the meal, decided to stay the night so I could enjoy a drink and not worry about getting home. The room I choose was standard room with a double bed $250 for a night, no breakfast, no thrills, in the middle of caribbean business park. Hotel doesnt even have a pool. So yes pleasant, but location, room a d facilities not worth $250 for a night
