Hotel Chadstone Melbourne Mgallery Collection

I enjoyed my stay here over the weekend!! It reminded me of Las Vegas minus the gambling. (As I've been to Las Vegas before) We had the wheelchair accessible room (as I'm in a wheelchair) which was nice and standard, however i was a little disappointed in the mattress, it was too soft and my self transfer wasn't safe amd I needed help by my best friend bbeacuse of the softness of the mattress. Everytime i tried to weight bare with my hands I was slipping off the bed. Otherwise the experience was awesome.

Enjoyed a stay in a stylish level 10 suite. Exceptional guest and turndown services. Loved the breakfast buffet freshly made eggs benedict, omelette, juices and puddings. Coffees were on point also. The Balmain bathroom products were nice and gentle on the hair/skin. Secure, basement parking was easy to use with direct lift to lobby/rooms. Made daily use of the pool too which was relaxing and had comfortable cabana and armchair seating.

We had a fabulous dinner with absolutely amazing service, followed the next morning by a delicious breakfast. We both ordered an omelette, which I discovered was cooked by Rose? It was so nice, I felt I had to go find her and personally thank her. Thank you Chadstone for your incredible staff - you have made our holiday so special from the very start!!!! THANK YOU! Booked this stay to celebrate my partner's birthday and it ended up being one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had. We waited almost 2 hours to check in, which meant we couldn't even get into our room at the check-in time. I already paid for the room in full, I was OVER charged $1,300, when I only authorised the the $200 bond. I've since been refunded around $900, but I'm still chasing another $314 and no one can seem to tell me exactly what's going on. The night manager told me I had to email the accounts team to sort it out because she couldn’t help me and couldn’t see the charges I was talking about. Imagine having to chase up your own refund because the hotel made a billing error. Mind you the didn’t even alert me to the mistake, I had to call them! I'm still waiting for a response to my email two days later. I also had to ask for my late checkout fee to be refunded, despite losing nearly 2 hours of my stay waiting to check in… What was meant to be a nice birthday weekend turned into such a headache. Really disappointing customer service and communication from start to finish. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend!
