Great location very close to the river and plenty to do near by. Clean rooms with nice beds and nice pillows, the rooms are pretty compact however the location more than makes up for it. We were on the top floor and it was relatively quiet, I could hear a bit of street noise but not bad.

I have not been so impressed by a hotel in a very long time. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, the hotel is modern and clean, with a nice bar/ lounge level 7 with an outdoor balcony and also a fooseball table. Our room was spotless, the bathroom is a clever space saving design. Power points by both sides of the bed, tea and coffee, iron, hairdryer and a great view. On arrival at the hotel we planned to pay for carparking at $35 for 24 hours ( just $4 more than the carpark across the Rd) but it was actually included in our room which was very convenient, maybe check with the hotel if you need to book the parking in busy times and if it’s included in your rate prior. There is a covered driveway area to pull into and park while you check in, they register your rego number for the carpark which then recognises your car and lets you straight into the carpark. We asked for late checkout at noon and it was granted, again depending how busy they are. The location is fantastic, a block back from Southbank area and the Yarra, about a ten to fifteen minute walk to Flinders Street Station, The Botanic Gardens and St Kilda Rd and the main shopping area. A stroll along the river to the MCG or DFO in the other direction. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, hash browns, beans, porridge, toast, croissants, muffins, cereals, and fruit. If you would like an expresso coffee there is a charge but otherwise tea and coffee and choice of juices. My husband grabbed takeaway coffee earlier at a cafe near the hotel as we’re coffee snobs! Breakfast being included with all rooms, a rarity these days. We will definitely be back!
This hotel is an absolute GEM! Its location is super convenient to the Arts Centre, MCG, Southbank, CBD, Botanical Gardens and more. From the moment we walked in, there was a warm, welcoming and stylish vibe. Every staff member we had connections with were outstanding and radiated not only professionalism but a wonderful friendly attitude that really made us feel like more than just guests. Our room, a twin, was clean, compact and so well designed with lovely contemporary features - the bathroom amenities were so lovely, and the room had everything we needed, and more. Amazing little touches like a night torch, blockout blinds and pillow choices - very clever and thoughtful. The room was quiet too, and beds comfy. Our rate was inclusive of breakfast and wow, it was SO good. Fresh wholesome options of fruit, juices, cereals, pastries, eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and tea and coffee. This hotel presents such great value and has really thought of everything - even a little kids play area in reception and a ping pong table - I have stayed in many many hotels, in Australia and overseas, and this one is right up the top for comfort, service , vibe and value. My Mum and I only stayed one night but what a lovely experience and we will certainly return for another stay and look forward to it. Accolades to all management and staff for creating a true Melbourne gem of a hotel : ) Thank you so much
Excellent location to Southbank in Melbourne. Clean and neat room with modern furnishings. The bathroom was well appointed with towels and nice smelling hand wash, moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner. We really enjoyed the stay, the bed was really comfortable, choice of firm or soft pillows was a great touch. The block out curtains were the best we've ever experienced! Then the buffet breakfast which was included was really yummy with eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato, toast, sweet muffins, pastries. Barrista coffee was available at an extra cost, otherwise regular tea/coffee/ juice included.
We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is in an absolutely great location. Very good value for money, not one of those fancy five star hotels, but it has been okay.l for what you pay. The buffet breakfast is ok! sufficient for what you need, but they need to add some cheese options and salads. The hygiene of the room was generally good, but there were heaps of dust on the desks and under the beds if you move it by a tiny bit for whatever needs you may have. The parking costs extra but it has been very good and reliable with heaps of parkings available during the week.
