We really enjoy our stay here. So comfy. Host was very generous; providing the breakfast and few other snack for us. Everything is perfect.

Pros: beautiful, quiet location. Cons: it needs an overhaul. Thought it was a stand alone cabin, but its a room next to another where you can hear everything. Fan was noisy, bed so uncomfortable i slept on the trundle, broken flyscreen on back door so had to keep backdoor shut, backyard is overgrown and had to clean the furniture to use it, freezer full of ice so our frozen goods went to waste, aggressive dogs on site that terrified our dog so couldnt sit on verandah plus the wi fi kept dropping out. Not a very pleasant stay
Beautiful spot in Emerald. Not far from some nice walks, and all the little towns in the Dandenongs. The room was beautiful. It was a bit cold and rainy when we arrived, so it was lovely to be able to pop on the woodfire. Huge spa to enjoy aswell. The owners left a complimentary bottle of bubbly for us aswell, which was definitely appreciated. I loved that they even left bacon and eggs, and even pancake mix for us in the room. Theres a fridge, and microwave. And the private little backyard for our room is dog friendly and contained.
Myself and my girlfriend stayed here with our dog for a couple nights over Easter and we loved it. It's an awesome little cottage up in the hills. Place itself is small but a fine size for a couple and a dog. The kitchen is basic but it's what you expect for a holiday retreat. The provided breakfast is extremely generous as it includes a 'full' English breakfast ingriedients, pancakes and cereal. They also gave us a few chocolates and a bottle of wine too which was nice. The spa bath was awesome and we loved the gas log heater, which heated up the entire house fairly quickly. The backyard is 95% secure, there was only a few places where a really small dog (like a Daschund) might be able to get out if it was really smart but we felt safe letting our dog go in there. The free WiFi was okay but a little patchy but to be expected somewhere that's located deep in the forest. We just used our phone data or hotspotted to our laptop instead, so if internet is essential to your stay, bring a backup just in case. The host communication is great. We originally had to change the date of our stay and they were easily able to change it no issues. Overall, a great place to stay and we would come again.
It's peaceful here and all the little extras have been thought of for breakfast, a full kitchen, warm gas fire and aircon, big lcd tv. We don't have our dog with us this time but it's pet friendly. Really quite close to Melbourne too considering how much it feels like a country mountain retreat.
