Just loved our stay. Granted , the rooms are tiny and we looked at a wall but the service was impeccable. They treated us so well and made a huge effort as it was a special occasion. We were SOOOO impressed. Great location. Our room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent! They responded to my requests. 12 pm check-out is perfect.

My husband is a Diamond Hilton Hotel Member and we have stayed in many Hilton’s in different countries, can honestly say the staff here go above and beyond. Our room had an incredible view over Flinders Street Station and the Yarra River. All the staff were welcoming and took the time to get to know us, always smiling, happy and professional. We loved having the breakfast and a few drinks in the evenings at the bar, so relaxing. Perfect location, right in the heart of all Melbourne’s CBD attractions, we couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommend.
I have been to Melbourne many times, this was the first time at DoubeTree. This is now our preferred place to stay, an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff - amazing, friendly and added to the experience from the check in to the nightcaps at the bar, their knowledge of the City and what was on offer to their genuine enthusiasm for us to have the bast experience. The rooms - were clean and had a great vibe The cookies on arrival - a great touch to welcome you to their home. The service - Random text to ensure we were travelling ok. The Location - seriously, laneways, tram stops, Station, Southbank and Brunetti - awesome Cost - spot on I love a place that those that work in the DoubleTree love it. Do yourself a favour ....
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am currently staying at the Hilton on Flinders Street, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m recovering from a hair transplant, and the care and kindness I’ve received from the entire team have exceeded all my expectations. Every single staff member from reception to housekeeping to breakfast staff goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everyone is genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless and incredibly comfortable, and the service is truly outstanding. During a time when rest and comfort are especially important, the team has made me feel completely at home. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Hilton for making my stay so special. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melbourne. 🧡
PSA: Bring your ear plugs! Sleep experience is more like a highway motel than four star hotel. I have used this hotel probably 10 times over the last two years as its a “preferred” hotel for work - I’m locked in. But, in all those stays I think I’ve had maybe one or two good sleeps. Thin walls between neighbours means I can hear coughing, TV noise, bags and cupboards clattering, doors, elevators and chatting in the halls. Then the windows point to probably the busiest road in the CBD with cars and trams piled up till late. No double glazed windows either. Most recently, construction noise in the building next door tipped it over the edge. I understand it’s out of the hotels control, but when I enquired about it they were aware that the noise could go on all night and that it was particularly bad for my room. They offered to move me, so I could either put up with drills and hammers at 11pm or get dressed and pack up my room… a better solution might be to tell your guests what to expect so they can buy some ear plugs from the chemist next door during opening hours. TDLR: busy location and cheap construction/furnishings make this supposed four star hotel feel like a cheap road side motel. Unfortunately, I’ll be back…
