My 3rd stay at Citadines on Bourke; Stay 1 and 2 were great. The location is still fabulous. The Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious at a reasonable nightly rate. However the housekeeping/maintenance standards let it down this time causing lower rating as:- *The downlight in the kitchen not working - dark bench prep area. *The kettle's electrical safety tag said next testing due March 2026, well overdue. *No bodywash in the shower after only 1 shower; had to use shampoo instead as already under shower when discovered. *On turning down sheets for bed noticed a sizeable reddish mark/stain on the under side of the doona. I hope my comments are useful and lead to improvement as the guest shouldn't need to or be expected to spend valuable holiday time reporting existing housecleaning/maintenance issues. For feedback only - I wish there was body lotion in the bathroom as there was on my previous stays. Thank you.

Had an enjoyable stay over the weekend. Staff were lovely on arrival. Check in process was very quick and efficient. The rooms were clean, presentable and very well sized especially for the price point. It came with an equipped kitchenette including pots, plates and cutlery. The mini fridge was a decent size to place anything you’d need in there too. Room had a large bed and a sofa. TV although not huge was sufficient for the room, despite it being only viewable from the bed and not the sofa. All areas including the bathroom was clean. Hairdryer and towels were also included. Location was amazing, right in the heart of the city. Short walk to all the shopping centres with a light rail right in front of the hotel too. Will definitely be back.
Location: rightly in the city centre Front desk staff: exceptionally nice That being said, I’ve been for two weeks now and even if they include a cleaning service every two days, so far nobody has changed the sheets and the carpet is untouched since I arrived. Any of the surfaces has seen a wipe for as long I’ve been either. If you’re looking for a short term, city centre stay, it might fit. But if you’re planning to stay a bit longer I’d recommend to find another place. I was quite surprised when I saw it’s actually considered a 4 star hotel. I’ve been in two stars that have been way better… I also need to mention the lack of daylight in most of the rooms, a downside of being right in the city centre I guess…

Great central location. The room we had was a little tired. The carpets were stained and walls were marked. There was no conditioner or body wash in the room (bottles were empty). Great little tea selection though and comfy bed and pillows. There were no towels at the pool both times we visited. These were however quickly replaced when we called down. Staff were nice and attentive.
