We chose this place due to location across from Southern Cross Station. Service was good, bed was a bit to soft and the buffet breakfast was not very good. Some of the food was cold, the bacon was like dried leather and the coffee was like watered milk. We paid the $28 day before but even at the normal price of $35, it would not be worth it.
We stayed at Batman’s Hill on Collins for 9 nights with our two teenagers and our 18-month-old, in a spacious two-bedroom apartment. The apartment was easy to find, clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family. A cot was provided upon request, and the fully functional kitchen was a huge bonus for us, especially with a young child. The staff were absolutely fantastic! They were warm, welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate every need we had during our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We would highly recommend Batman’s Hill on Collins to other families looking for comfortable, family-friendly accommodation in Melbourne. We had such a wonderful experience that they will definitely be our first choice for accommodation in the future! ❤️
We loved our stay at this hotel. The service was professional and friendly, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well suited to our needs as I came with my two elderly parents. The location is convenient and easy to access. The only small suggestion would be assistance with luggage on arrival, as there was no one at the entrance when we arrived and we had quite a few large cases to handle entering the building.
The staff at this hotel were so pleasant and accommodating from our first interaction to the last. This was consistent from desk, hospitality and cleaners. All were welcoming, helpful and went above in their service. We were in a premier room on Floor 5 at the back of the hotel. It was quiet, despite its very central location. Incredibly comfortable bed and well appointed. This hotel is a hidden gem and great value for money. As frequent travellers to Melbourne, we will be back!
I’ve got to say, I was really impressed! When you’re travelling, especially by train, it is so convenient! It’s all about the location, but the service was great and the room was lovely and clean. It’s well set up, with all the essentials. I’ve only dropped one star, as I’d much prefer a practical fridge over a wine chiller in the room. Will be back again!
