This place is the biggest scam I experienced on 8 travels to Australia in the past year.
Discovery platinum upgrade means I get a double room apartment traveling solo.
No food or service as mentioned.
The TV has apps like Netflix and Co, but the free Wifi does not allow the connection to it. FO told me, I should use my Hotspot from my phone. No solution provided - this is beyond bad.
I cancelled the booking, ever since I cannot reach them on the phone during the day. Emails are not replied.
Please do not comment with standardized answers Avani.
Think about the epowering your night shift to be able to make decisions. It drove me mad, that he has no power and was telling me, I have to talk to his superior the next day.

Good place to base yourself for a stay in central Melbourne. We had an apartment which had a usable kitchenette and a very comfy king size bed. The pool is good for a float or a swim although due to the time of year the spa pools weren’t open sadly. Great views from 55th floor across the city - worth a look.
Service was great. Any questions or queries we had were quickly taken care of by staff.
Location is perfect. Right in the middle of everything!
Room was clean.
The only downside was the elevator. One of the elevators would be out of order after 6pm.
Other than that, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here.
The pool and sauna were a highlight for us too.

Booked this at a very competitive price, and the location is extremely convenient in the Melbourne CBD. I was upgraded to a two bedroom residence as a GHA member perk, and the service was good as well. I only had to deal with the front office team during my stay, and they were all nice. I have no complaints about the stay.
One thing to be aware of is that the property does not have a functioning restaurant. Meals have to be pre-ordered from their sister hotel, Avani Melbourne Jazz Corner, and there is also a grab and go option. I have no comments on the food since I did not try it, but guests who like a proper breakfast on site should plan for that.
We had a wonderful stay at this service apartment. At check-in, we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade from a one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The apartment was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The staff were all warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit. A special thank you to Pat at the front desk, who took great care of us. Pat’s excellent service and kindness, including arranging a late check-out for us, made our experience even more memorable.
We really appreciated the outstanding hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
