We had an excellent stay at The Chen Melbourne. The hotel has a beautiful art-inspired design, spacious and tidy rooms, and the rooftop pool with city views is fantastic. The location in Box Hill is convenient, close to tram stops and local restaurants.
Special thanks to Alisa! She is highly responsible, professional and thoughtful. She responded promptly to all our requests, followed up carefully and solved our issues efficiently. Her outstanding service greatly improved our whole experience.

Wonderful Family Stay – Comfortable, Clean and Convenient
We had a very pleasant stay at The Chen with our family. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and we found the hotel very convenient for our Melbourne trip. The atmosphere was relaxing and the facilities were excellent. We especially appreciated having a comfortable place to return to after a full day of travelling and sightseeing. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would happily choose The Chen again for our future Melbourne visits. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

When we arrived at the Chen box hill, my son and i said wow. A very impressive building and location. The lady at reception who greeted us was extremely helpful and explained everything we needed to know.
The room sizes were perfect -facing the sun rise.
The room cleanliness was 10 out of 10 and the bed was very comfortable.
What else could a person want?
We are both from rural victoria and it made our stay in melbourne all the more special staying in lovely accommodation like this.
All i have left to say is thankyou for making our stay very pleasent.
Decent experience which could have been better considering it’s a 4-star hotel. The service at the reception was not very helpful since the car park direction was not very clear and didn’t get any positive vibe from the front staff. The rooms were decent and parking pricing is also genuinely cheap considering other options. Would really appreciate if the front staff can be more friendly and helpful to the guests.
