I had a pleasant four-week stay at this hotel during my first visit to Australia. The location is excellent, with easy access to trams, Southern Cross Station, restaurants, shops, and several Indian restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout my stay. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience with excellent service and a convenient location. Highly recommended!
This was the perfect getaway. Me and my best friend were in town for a concert and our first hotel we checked into was awful so we were left without a place to stay. Alto booked us immediately, let us in and it was perfect. The room was so comfortable and lovely, the place smelled like tea and comfort and we felt so safe as two girls in the city.
Fantastic location really helpful front office staff. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure and hot water was plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

Situated near Southern Cross Station this is a great mid range priced hotel. We arrived early and they held our bags whilst we explored Melbourne and had them in our room when we arrived back. The room wasn’t large but was comfortable and had a sink, microwave and fridge if you didn’t feel like eating out. There is a lounge downstairs and a small cafe. For the price this is a great hotel and would definitely stay here again.
