Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. Good kitchen, spacious rooms with laundry facilities.. Friendly and attentive staff!

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL! Having stayed at Mainstay Kew twice previously whilst under different ownership brands, we decided to go with what we knew this time around in November of 2025. What a major disappointment. The corridor outside our room stank of smoke thanks to the man staying next door, despite a no smoking policy being in place. His balcony was littered with cans of alcohol, tossed all over the place and our dryer also stank of smoke. It appears to us that the hotel is hosting an increasing number of workers who have been put up at the residence by their employers and many appear to be treating it with disdain. On arrival, we were forced to change rooms thanks to two barking dogs that were on either side of us and intent on out-doing each other. The room was reasonably clean yet the entire place is in need of a few coats of paint, some replaced locks and hinges, as well as a servicing policy that saw no effort to make up the room across a four night stay. Thank goodness Melbourne was great and Kew is such a delightful suburb. Unfortunately, the hotel has gone to the dogs, literally and metaphorically.

Very disappointed. Before booking I asked all the questions that were important to us. 1) Can we have a room by the pool YES 2) Does the carpark have easy access and a ramp YES 3) Is the Apartment Services daily YES Apartment was way at the front of the building and nowhere near the Pool, was too far away for us to walk Carpark only had stairs which my husband found challenging that he parked on the street. We paid $25 per night for that carpark. The Apartment was never services. The sofa was dirty, there was hair balls in the bathroom, dishes not clean from the previous tenant, cup had lipstick on it, hob and bench was dirty and hardly any utensils in the kitchen like a basic fruit bowl and dirty under foot. Very disappointed and feel they should give us a sizable refund for what we endured .

I spent three weeks at Aligned Corporate Residences, it was a great stay. The staff were so friendly, professional and made me feel right at home. Large and spacious apartments, with secured parking and great location. Hats off to the wonderful team, would certainly recommend!
