Adara Hotel Richmond

If you are thinking of staying at Adara, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! It is in a great location, and that is all that there is going for it. I stayed here for four days recently and it was nothing but hassle and disappointment. They pulled my room from under me a couple weeks out from my booking, cancelled itwith no reasoning at all and then put my room back up on the website for an extra $100. Price gouging. The lobby was dirty with cigarette butts outside the reception door as soon as I walked in. The windows inside the rooms were filthy, the covers had stains on them, the TV was slow and unresponsive. The dishwasher was clocked and unusable. I tried to use the dryer and it would overheat itself and shut off. The worst part of all was the god awful beds. The hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever felt. The pillows were flat and horrible. I had to sleep on the couch to try and get any sleep at all. It was the worst nights sleep I have ever experienced. Beyond that, there was three notices around the room that strictly said there would be NO housekeeping during my stay. So imagine my surprise when I come home and the room has been entered and the cleaner has been in? If you are going to provide that service, great. But don't put signage up saying the opposite. The only thing going for this place is the location. Don't fall for the 4/5 star scam. The beds alone are enough to pay extra and go elsewhere!! Don't do it folks!

Inconvinences: The reception had moved into the gym due to renovations. No available all day parking close by. The donna on the beds were just a thin blanket with a sheet under and on top of it. Shower tiles were stained with build up Also why was there no fan in the bathroom, thought that was abit odd. PROS The staff was nice enough. Had a balcony, saw a lady hit her rims on her mercades gutter rash.

Very helpful reservation staff, easy after hours check in, nice and quiet overnight, but room was shabby and tired and needed a good clean. Bed looked like it had either been made very badly or not at all after previous guest, shower was filthy. This was disappointing because location is very good if accessing Epworth.

The staff were brilliant - stayed here and still staying here post surgery from Epworth Richmond - they have been so supportive and have cleaned the rooms twice with no extra fees and they were happy to do it with no worries. - the cost of staying itself is very good value. Everything is very convenient and the local cafe and shops on bridge road. These apartments are very central if you want the quiet but not too far away from the busy. Have really enjoyed staying here so far. Thank you Adara Hotel 🩷🩷 for making our stay as comfortable as possible.
