We had an amazing full day trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the region very well. We went to the sunken city of Kekova, the church of St Nicholas, where the origin of our mythical Santa Ckaus comes from. He was knowledgeable about the icons and our Christian symbols. Lastly we went to Demre and saw the tombs hewn into the Stone Mountain and the theater. Everything was amazing including our lunch.
It was well organized. Great site seeing but there was not much to see with respect to the sunken city. The ruins were amazing. Had a great time.
All in all it was a great day. Pick up went smoothly, our guide was great and answered every question we asked, and obviously the sights we got to see were also amazing. Lunch was delicious, something for everyone, even vegetarians😋😋 The only thing I felt came too short was the swimmig time 😅 maybe 10 or 15 min longer? That would have been awesome. Apart from that very satisfied ☺️👍👍thank you. Also if anyone comes across some very skinny looking kitties on a hot day please make sure to offer some water 😭 they appreciate it ❤️
Amazing day visiting historical attractions and ending the day with a lovely boat ride and swim
It was a great experience, although the road took the most part of a day for us coming from Lara. Also it would be great to know ahead of time about the swimming stop on a boat. I did not know and not took my swimming suit. Otherwise everything was great and informative!
this package is sold with use of a glass bottomed or windowed boat, I have been informed such a boat is illegal in Turkey( we , i would suggest you update the description, as it currently mis-sold with this description and the disappointment at not seeing Kekova up close is far reaching. Besides this issue the tour was very good with good drivers and guide, the 6am start was early but someone else was picked up at 5am, our trip was turned upside with kekova in the afternoon, to add to the disappointment, we were only allowed 15 minutes in the sea which seemed to be too little in the heat and might of helped overcoming the previous disappointment, the only reason for the such a high rating is the guide/drivers and of course the beautiful area-talking to others they were under the same opinion
Truly an underrated and unforgettable tour to do in Turkey, our guide and driver blew us away. They took amazing care of us and were so knowledgeable, cannot recommend this tour more !!
Lovely experience. Our group consisted of only 9 people which is great as it felt more private. Levent was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide! Overall I would highly recommend it for people who loves the history behind every place. Not only was it pretty to see, but it is also amazing to learn new things and I think that was overall the highlight of our trip! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour.
This trip was excellent and the gide Bart was 1st class I 100% recommend this trip, don’t forget your swimming costume like we did. It’s not deep water but very refreshing on the day and good for your skin
- 12+ hour day from pick to drop-off - Waited 20 minutes to pick-up people that never showed up. Bus driver wanted to leave after 5 minutes, but his office wouldn’t let him - & we were already running 6-7 minutes late. My wife speaks Turkish & heard the conversation. - Company had 3 tour buses on same day & schedule, but the tour busses fell behind us by 1 hour -because they did some shopping. Why were they allowed to do this…? We don’t know. We do know that we transferred some tourists from our bus to another bus - which is fine. However, since we were 1 hour ahead of them, the company slow-walked our tour with slow driving & an extra stop on the way back. After a LONG heated discussion between the tour guide & the office, our tour bus stayed in the slow lane driving at about 30-40 kilometers an hour in a 90 KPH so that the late tour bus could catch up. THEN we had an added a stop at a road-side cafe, where a supposed 10 minute stop turned into 25 minutes - but the late bus still didn’t catch up.! So, back to driving so slowly that every single car on the highway behind us moved around & passed us. Finally, the other bus caught up & they pulled over to the side & switched back passengers. HORRIBLE treatment of their guests by this tour company (Tourmania Antalya). We used this company in Istanbul in Istanbul, & those tours we’re great.
Absolutely fantastic day trip ine of my all time favourite trips i have done . Our guide Kerim was a wealth if knowledge and an absolute gentleman. I would highly recommend this tour if you get a chance
Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to the group. He made the excursion both enjoyable and informative, sharing fascinating insights and ensuring everyone felt comfortable throughout the trip. His professionalism and enthusiasm truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommended!
This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Turkey. Visiting the Sunken City was such a unique experience, the views from the boat were absolutely beautiful and it felt surreal seeing the ancient ruins beneath the water. The stop at Myra was equally impressive, especially the rock-cut tombs and the ancient theater. Walking through so much history was unforgettable. The church visit was peaceful and meaningful, with so much culture and history to learn about. Everything throughout the day was well organized, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the scenery along the way was stunning. I loved getting to experience both the natural beauty and historical richness of the region all in one trip. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Turkey!
Beautiful places especially Myra ruins and nice to swim close to Kekova
Big group but very well organised by service provider Tourmania. They sent pre pickup and time information by personal contact. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the places, their history and tales, with a good sense of humour. Everything punctual and on time. Being solo, I felt safe and understood each step. Great team of excellence and proficiency.
Fantastic trip with great guide. Kekova is utterly beautiful and it was lovely having a boat tour as part of the day. St Nicolaos' church was one the finest old eastern churches we have ever visited (and we have done many). Myra was our first visit to a Lycean site. It has raised a number of historical questions in my mind. Great visit. Note: trip cost includes boat trip and lunch but another €30 per person for admissions to sites.
This was a pleasant experience and it’s worth it! Our tour guide, Levent did his very best to make sure that the tour went smoothly! I learnt a lot from this trip! Thank you!
Our guide was terrific- he gave the tour in English and German... Wish I wrote his name down. The views of the Turquoise Coast were spectacular, although the hairpin turns were a bit scary. The only downside of the tour was the pick-up- a lot of stops and we had to switch buses, but overall it was a great day! What a beautiful country, with wonderful, passionate people.
Levent was an excellent tour guide, very experienced and provided valuable information throughout the day. He was super friendly and his English was perfect. The day was well structured, lunch was very nice and felt authentic.
Talha from Tourmania was very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. Very professional and friendly. We loved the boat ride to the sunken city and had a delicious meal in Demre. We visited the Roman theatre and graves in the mountainside in Myra. It was amazing and very special x
Good tour. Levent was very informative. The boat tour was a tiny bit of a let down as we were expecting a full (or at least a decent sized) glass- bottom on the boat but we were still able to appreciate the sunken city from above. Otherwise it was a lovely day out and I’d recommend the tour.
What a wonderful day of exploring, learning, and beauty! The tour went flawlessly thanks to the coordinator (Talha) and the guide (Levent) and the driver.
Read this for a thorough rundown of the day and be warned — it’s absolutely not worth driving about 9 hours for a 3-hr activity day AND DO NOT BOOK WITH TOURMANIA!! If you’re contacted by them, RUN! Worst-run company I’ve ever booked with, ever, and I’ve booked hundreds over the years. The beginning of the day was really annoying. To be picked up in Antalya at 6:45 am, then spend two hours picking up people with no explanation from the driver or the guide as to timing or next move, or just how many people, which ended up being a FULL 16-person minivan that was hot as hell. We initially sat in the back, but when we realized how many people were being picked up, we didn’t want to get stuck back there with no air circulation and no window — all you can see is someone’s back seat. So we moved up front, I’m 5’4 and my knees hit the back of the seat in every row. If you’re tall, RIP, you’re going to be very uncomfortable in the mini bus all day. Some folks were due to be picked up at 8am, but we were forced to wait for them until 8:15. LEAVE THEM!!! The rest of us were up and ready way earlier, don’t be disrespectful. Fast forward to 9:30am…only after being in the van FOR THREE HOURS were we told that there would be no boat tour or stop at Kekova Island. We’d instead “get to drive around the marble mountain.” INFURIATING! How the hell do you cancel one of the main attractions without proper notification?? They were told an “orange alert” is in effect for 3 days, so they had plenty of warning to make notifications to us. So, the main attraction that was the reason we came and one of the only things ACTUALLY included in the fare wasn’t gonna happen. Drove 7-8 hours total to see the coliseum and REALLY overrated dilapidated church. The lunch was either a 1/4 of a regular chicken kabob or a baguette with meat/cheese — no beverages included. This entire booking was a rip-off, and I absolutely blame TOURMANIA for their crap customer service and communication.
This was a really lovely day. We were picked up quite early and there's a long drive involved at the start and end as the attractions are so far away, but it's worth it, particularly if you like history! Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area. The lunch was also great - we got to try some traditional food and the guide was able to arrange for the vegan in our group to have some traditional Turkish food which happens to be naturally vegan and was absolutely delicious. We really appreciated that! We particularly loved Myra with the tombs and the reconstructed ampetheatre. I don't think I've ever really seen anything like it before. Thank you for a great day out!
The tours were cool and the people were nice, but they did not prepare us for how long the day was. It took 4 hours to get back from the ruins to antalya and we ended up getting out of the bus before being dropped off at the hotel. They had too many people to pick up and drop off and it ended up being a 14+ hour day. We were picked up at 635am and got out of the bus a couple kilometers away from the hotel at 830pm. We would recommend if you have a rental car, just go check out the historic sites on your own, because they were worth a visit.
The tour was well organised and informative. Don’t expect to see any artefacts of the sunken city. The glass bottom boat had a two pares of bottom glass windows. Overall it was worthwhile to dedicate a day of our travel to see Turkey’s history.
This was a beautiful experience. The city of Kekova and the turquoise Mediterranean was beyond beautiful! We also got in the water for about 30minutes in the middle of nowhere. Lunch was very good too. Our tour guide Levent was funny and knowledgable he engaged the group and we all had a great time! It's a long tour though but it was totally worth it. I highly recommended.
It was a very nice day tour. We had a Tour Guide with the Name of Levent. He is very funny men and gave us information also about the region and the people living here ☺️ he brought us to a Kebap Restaurant, there we had a perfect lunch. For sightseeing it was a little bit hot but we enjoyed the Day, thank you
The views are really fascinating. We saw turtles swimming. Myra is beautiful. We swam in the turquoise clear water. Overall the tour is ok.
Very nice experience from picking up my friends and me from our hotel to coming back. Our guide was very knowledgeable, I learned about history and today’s modern Antalya, very informative. Visited beautiful historical cities, boat ride was amazing, swimming in lazur clear water next to ruins of Sunken city… it was beautiful
A well organised tour with very good communications beforehand (via WhatsApp). Went to the meeting point and the bus arrived promptly. We stopped a couple of times each way for comfort breaks which made the journey an easier experience. Lunch was a buffet meal and was good, what one would expect from an inclusive experience. Throughout the tour the guide gave us a lot of information about the region and the sites and was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The whole day went as planned and turned out to be a very smooth experience. I would definitely recommend this tour for those interested in history and archaeology.
Lovely experience. Kept very well to schedule and we were given adequate rest breaks throughout each leg of our journey. Our guide was wonderful and gave us plenty of (often quite niche and personal!) anecdotes and bestowed upon us lots of their cultural/historical knowledge of Antalya and Turkey. The driver was skilled and efficient — the whole day ran very smoothly and was very professional. I do recommend this company in particular to do the Sunken City & Rock Tomb tour.
Great experience very informative with lots of information on history of the city and country. Very personable. Kids loved the swimming part
Fantastic day, made all the better by the guide who was knowledgeable, friendly and had a very good energy about him. Saw some fantastic sites and received some fantastic information about the sites and surrounding area
Lovely drive along mountainous coastline. Relaxing boat trip but don't get to see as much of sunken Kekova as would have liked. You couldn't see anything through the glass in the boat. Interesting visits to St Nicholas church and stunning Myra.
We were informed the evening before that pick up would be 04.45am (not 7am as advertised) which was far too early. Both viator and the tour operator refused a refund. £225 down, no trip, disappointed children
Our trip to the Sunken City Kekova, Demre and Myra was amazing. The guide was so knowledgeable and lovely. This a trip you don't want to miss when you visit Antalya
The trip was great, a lot of interesting things to see on land and water. Our guide was amazing, very helpful, informative and funny. I will recommend it
Our guide Mehmet was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. First day I couldn’t join because driver didn’t find my place but wasn’t Mehmet’s fault.
Reasonably well organised trip, and our guide Levent was very entertaining throughout. Really liked the boat trip to kekova with the swim, and lunch was not too bad, but felt that the tourist stop at the gem shop was unneeded. Didn't get into St Nicholas church as we felt the extra cost was quite high (17 euros). Finished with a visit to Myra tombs which were really nice to see, although only for 30 minutes.
I loved the day out, the journey was entertaining by the tour guide Levent throwing out every fact he had about the island, the boat trip is longer than 60 mins but it is beautiful and worth it- pack a swimsuit and towel as you get a chance to jump in the sea, something we didn’t know! Then we stopped at a jewellery store which provides special jewels specific to turkey! After that we had the best lunch, went to the st Nichols church (is extra 17 euros per person and is a 30 min stop) so opted out and chilled at a cafe! Then we went to Myra, it is so beautiful and we had the best time looking around. I would recommend this trip for any history buffs!
Great service, transport and good lunch! The locations were beautiful and the scenery great - a must do when in this part
It is a great tour. It is very well organized. We had time enough to enjoy each experience. The lunch was good. The sunken city is amazing. It is great to swim around the boat nearby.
From start to finish this tour was hands down the best one I’ve been on so far in Antalya! Both driver and tour guide were awesome!!
We have taken this trip from east antalya at. 6.30AM.It took around 4 hrs to reach the boat in demre and the boat ride was scenic which is for one hr and 20min to swim.next we stopped for lunch ,we haven't opted for nicholas church(entry Euro 17 per person). We visited Myra city which was good.overall the trip was good and the guide E C E is a nice person, explained about the places very well. Only thing is that, most of our time was spent on the bus and less time for sight seeing.
Aside from the pick up and day running smoothly and to schedule, the tour was excellent and made especially enjoyable by our friendly guide Levent, who was a fountain of historical knowledge and a pleasure to chat to about life and politics in Turkey today. Would highly recommend.
I’ll start with the positives. The tour itself was great and the guide excellent. The one big negative was the time it took to pick up people from various hotels enroute to the actual tour. It took more than 2 hours before we started to travel to the first destination.

Very nice trip. Beautiful boat trip and interesting sights. Excellent guide who told us alot about the history and geography. He was funny and engaging with the people. He was very knowledgeable providing a lot of information and fun facts in a light and easy to understand manner, in English and German. Organisation of our pick at our hotel in Tekirova was delayed by nearly two hours 9:15 instead of 07:30hrs, due to poor communication. The rest of the tour went like clock work.
