Onder was a very knowledgeable guide. If we didn’t have him while in old town we would have missed so much and just walked by it. He was very personable and not only gave you the history but tied in his own family and life there. Worth it.

Great overview of Old Town! I recommend this to anyone visiting.

We had such a great time on the Old Town tour in Antalya with Onder. He made the history really interesting and easy to follow, not overwhelming at all. We loved how he walked us through different parts of the city, including explaining the significance of Hadrian's Gate and taking us through the Antalya Ethnography Museum to talk about the history and culture of Antalya. And at the very end, he had us try a local sweet treat —which was honestly amazing and something we never would’ve found on our own. We went back for seconds later.

My sons say he should get 10 out of 5 stars! We had such a wonderful time. Onder paid close attention to each of us, pointing out specific facts or sights that each of us would enjoy, including my 7 and 9 year old boys. Definitely recommend!

Onder was my guide during this excursion. I will remember his kindness the most and sense of humor . He really went out of his way to make sure you understood the history of Antalya but he was also sure to provide you will the most ideal recommendations for restaurants, ice cream shops, and other aspects of Antalya.

We were a little late turning up, but fortunately the guide was still waiting. It was just the three family members in the group. Our guide, Onder, welcomed us and we immediately felt at ease. The tour moved at a reason able pace, with Onder talking during most of it. We talked not only about the history of the old town, but Turkey in general. There was time to take in the views as well as going into a museum house and a church. The tour ended with Onder treating us to a Turkish desert. Great tour at a good price. I would recommend it to everyone provided you are able to walk for a couple of hours.

We had an excellent tour of Antalya’s old town with Onder. He is a knowledgeable and friendly guide who shared a lot of interesting history and local insights in a very relaxed and enjoyable way. Our Tour guide Onder regaled us with anecdotes and words of wisdom from his mother. We are determined to meet her. Perhaps on our next return to Antalya. The old town is a most fascinating place to visit, not always top of the tourist list but a real must for those interested in the origins of both the port and city which date back to Roman times. A real mix of ancient religions that are evident in the many places of worship. A restoration programme begun since the 1960’s have greatly added to the allure of these wonderful buildings and a visit to the local mosque is not to be missed! Onder explained the origins of local customs such as which colour the women’s headscarf’s would indicate marital status, availability etc and as Onder explained, an early form of Tinder! There are many traditional restaurants to choose from here. Take Onders guided tour you won’t be disappointed.

It was a great tour through the streets of Kaleiçi and the museum. Onder is a great guide, he clearly enjoys it and is great at giving a lot of tidbits about the area. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour. Onder was an exceptionally well-informed, articulate and entertaining tour guide. We saw lots of the main sites, covered a lot of ground, and really got a better understanding of this fascinating city. I had already stayed in a hotel in Kaleiçi for several days, but it was only after going on this tour that I felt confident about the layout of this part of Antalya. It’s the perfect tour for orienting yourself in the old town. The highlight for me was the museum, where Onder's humour and generosity of spirit brought the static artefacts to life by threading them through the tapestry of his family life in Türkiye. It was truly wonderful. I would venture that Onder is one of the best tour guides you will meet. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter, and generous in his responses to the barrage of questions from the group. Onder also provides tours of Perge and Termessos, both extraordinary sites to visit. I highly recommend taking these tours with him, as the warmth and humour of his narrative makes insights into the ancient history of Antalya so enjoyable.

We took a long walk around Old Town with a long stop at a museum which Onder talked us through! I went solo, but Onder was great at getting the group talking and was really personable. Had a blast and got a sweet treat at the end!

Onser is great- he will make sure that everyone feels included (even your little ones), he’s very attentive and adjusts the pace of the tour to group’s needs. Our Antalya Old Town tour with Onder was very enjoyable. He is friendly and made us feel welcome in the city from the start. While Antalya is quite compact, we weren't sure what to focus on beforehand, and Onder took us around key sites, bringing the streets more to life by painting a fascinating picture of what life used to be like. Onder has a background in education and it showed, he was very clear and we both learnt a lot, from cultural to historic (including the Roman and other influences on the area) and religious aspects, and how the city has evolved over time. He also provided us with honest recommendations, from general advice to activities and food suggestions (including a great restaurant that we ate at the same evening). Great guide, was very knowledgable, proficient in english. Tour started right on time. Our guide was able to pace the tour to keep both my 11 yr old and me engaged at the same time. Reasonable and well timed stops to take pictures and rest given the high temperatures. Strongly recommend it.

Oner was a great guide. He is a retired art teacher and he was able to go in depth with the symmetry of the buildings in old town and the various art collections and other archived items of the Turkish culture. He was awesome.

Onder was a fabulous host. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Antalya's old town and openly shared cultural aspects together with tips of where to go for great food and shopping. We bought a beautiful silk rug based on his introduction to a shop keeper along our tour route. If you visit Antalya be sure to ask for Onder as your guide. You won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend this tour. The program is condensed but yet allows to get a grasp of the most important places in the old town of Antalya. Onder is a very kind guide and eager to share his knowledge. And the halva was great!
