Bodrum Turkish Bath And Spa

We had a good experience at the Hammam and Spa which offered value for the price. The spa is located below some shops in an unassuming place, so if you’re expecting a fancy or luxurious building, this is not it. Once inside however the spa is well decorated. There are lockers and a changing area- although they don’t give you a gown or towel when you change so you have to walk through the reception in your bikini. The sauna room was a good size and they ensure you are only in there with people from your own booking. The men in the bath section were friendly and did a good job of scrubbing the skin. The ladies who give the oil massage were lovely and give a mixture of Thai and oil massage (they tell you only 10 minutes is included in the price however when I showed them the TA page said 20minutes they did not argue). They do try and upsell you but I didn’t feel they were pushy. More of a safety factor- No drinks are included in the spa experience, not even water or some Turkish tea which they seem to give out for free everywhere. You can purchase drinks from the fridge however I feel with the whole experience being so hot with no where to cool down between each stage, water needs to be available to ensure guests remain hydrated because you loose so much fluid through sweat which is dangerous. Please consider providing water with the experience to avoid guests getting heat stroke. All in all, good experience, efficient pickup and drop off, did what it says on the tin so go for it for a simple hammam experience.

As a family of 5 with a 20 yr old, 16 yr old & 12 year old we really enjoyed this experience. Was well organised and professional. The only reason a star was dropped was the constant upselling. Exfoliation and massage was amazing. I do recommend this spa.

We really enjoyed our experience, the staff were really friendly. They were a little pushy with trying to get us to add on an extra massage however we said we’d just have the 20 minute oil massage that was included in our experience. The scrub and foam massage is very relaxing, but the oil massage was unreal! I felt so relaxed and the ladies that do it are so lovely and made me feel comfortable. My skin felt so soft after and I thought it was really good value for money for what was included, it was a great way to spend the morning. It is definitely worth visiting.

What an amazing experience! We wanted a traditional turkish bath experience, and thats exactly what we got. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly, very attentive and made us feel comfortable. Offered traditional turkish tea and coffee after, and bottled water throughout. Our transport was delayed so they arranged a taxi and paid for it. Highly recommend Sultan Turkish Bath!

We wanted an authentic turkish bath experience and it was just like that. The experience was good value for money (we didn’t get any of the extra paid treatments and I’m happy we didn’t because this was plenty by itself). They picked us up from the hotel, brought us to the Sultan Turkish Baths, where we changed into swimwear, then went into a sauna, followed by the turkish bath ritual (scrub & foam) and ending with a 20 min oil massage which was very relaxing. We came out clean, relaxed and refreshed.

Went with two teens and two adults. All rated a 10/10. Unique way to spend half a day in Turkey. Would definitely do again!

This is not a luxury spa day by any stretch of the imagination, but we all left feeling relaxed and glad we had the experience. We were picked up in an old shuttle bus with no A/C and after 30 minutes of sitting around with no communication, we nearly bailed. Once in the bath house, our apprehension started to wane and we started having a bit more fun. The “bathers” (my word not theirs) were entertaining and took good care of us during the scrub down and foam massage portion of the experience. This part felt the most authentic. Be warned, you will be in a bathing suit, but other participants will be watching everything so if you are very modest, probably not the activity for you. We all opted for a 45 minute massage which was the highlight. After 2 weeks of travel, it was nice to have a down day to unwind and certainly less expensive than a spa service on the ship. The facial portion was very nice and our skin felt amazing afterward. Note- massages are an additional charge so plan accordingly. This is one of those- “when it Turkey, you just have to…” experiences.

Nobody showed, no communication sent them a message then never responded. Finally reached viator support they got a hold of them finally over an hour after pick up they said they called and messaged me however never received a missed call or message so they lied. Asked for a refund and viator denied request for refund. So I am currently doing a charge back on my credit card. This is the 2nd of 3 times this has happened to me using viator. I always trusted them but not anymore. Time to find a new company. Viator is taking zero responsibility for this or is the agency they hired for this excursion. Save your money don't do it!!!!

First time at Selectum Colours Bodrum, what can i say, it was unbelievable, staff were amazing, when I arrived staff took you to your room, vibes and scenery was amazing from evening entertainment to animation team. including a pink party with foam sprayer brilliant variety of music and saxophone player Aqua gym was a personal favourite as it was fun and enjoyable, Harry and other member of entertainment team that worked around the pool gave nothing but joy to the guests and made everyone feel involved. Restaurant near the beach was very nice with good option of food and a place to chill

PSA: All Females PLEASE READ! This location is co-ed and does not offer private rooms for baths. The facilitators are all men and they do not wear clothes while scrubbing you just a towel. There is no privacy or even option to request a female facilitator. High Pressure Sales: First of all, there is a reason why they offer a pick up- because if you had your own transport, it would be easy for you to walk out. As soon as you get there they do not give you the option to see the facilities. They sit you down and high pressure sell you on additional services off the bat. They don’t tell you the message room is set up like a sweat shop and you have to walk outside to get massage. They don’t tell you that that there is mold from floor to ceiling all over the hamam room. They high pressure sell you before you can even see any of this. Basically if you want to have a fast food style experience at a bath house, this is the one to go to. Otherwise, please look elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I booked this excursion while in port on Our cruise. We met a representative at the local market right by the exit area of the port. I believe they normally use a van for transport but the rep ordered a taxi for us. It was a bit anxiety provoking because we did not expect this was the transport method. The tour is advertised as “English” and the taxi driver was not English speaking. Other than this negative, everything after arrival was great. There are multiple crew members who interacted with us and they were all very nice and gave us great care. My girlfriend was super nervous doing this but she ended up loving the experience. There are many upsells here and I’d recommend splurging. We did the bronze package so the whole experience was about 155euro. Would recommend a Turkish bath experience here to anyone coming into the Bodrum port

Worst turkish bath i've ever had. when we arrived we were given a sales pitch on grossly overpriced services even for US standards, then we were sent to a sauna without any water at all and when placed in the actual turkish bath it smelled like musk and we had to wait almost a half hour to get the bath. They literally gave us a Turkish bath for 5 minutes and it was the worst i've ever experienced. Once done, we went to a rooftop like cattle and waited for 10 minutes without any explanation. I've had 3 other Turkish baths and they were nothing like this horrible experience. We decided to leave early because we were so disappointed. Save your money, for $100 for two people you can do much better. A lot better. Please take my advice seriously.

Had a great experience. Rhe baths were clean and the masseuse had good skills I requested firm and she was solid. She worked my shoulders and hips as requested. Would go again.

I should have read the bad reviews before booking! The facility is not clean or sanitary, the baths are not private, the toilets are dirty, the place is old and worn. They did not provide the extra massages we paid for. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

While the baths were authentic the place was dirty and very worn. However we were most disappointed on them not having enough staff to handle the amount of people.

Unfortunately the worst hamam experience we have had in Turkey. It was like a production line with men and women all being squashed into the bath! The average ‘wait in line’ for a scrub was at least half an hr. They didn’t provide you with underwear neither did they tell us to bring any before hand. You have men doing the bath for you and they don’t even ask if you are okay with that. The place also looked more like a nightclub than a spa. The only positive that comes to mind was that the masseuse was attentive and of good quality.

We had the most wonderful time getting the bath, and massage. I would truly recommend this Turkish bath. The staff was so very friendly, the guys thst did the bath & the salt wash, made you feel comfortable. We did the 4 hand Sultan massage, it was a little intense at times, if you are not an intense massage person you might want to ask for lighter hands. But overall, we truly enjoyed & would def. No seatbelts in the van, very unsafe. Also way over priced for what you get (which is not even what you’re told you’re paying for, it’s significantly less) and they STILL over charged no doubt hoping we wouldn’t notice. Total scam. To top it off I have literal bruises all over my body from this “spa day” I had. Do not at all recommend. I seriously regret spending my money here.

This was a fantastic experience, every member of staff was very attentive and polite, actual baths was very clean and well maintained the bath was fabulous l felt so revived the medical massage was superb and my massure Ruth was very good she cured my neck and hip thanks everyone.

Excellent experience! Hubby and I were on a cruise, booked through Viator the day before our arrival. I messaged the Spa to confirm the pick up point and they promptly replied. An air conditioned van picked us up right outside of the cruise terminal. The service from start to finish was outstanding. There was an option for packages that included various services, we went for the reasonably priced top of the line package which included massage, honey facial, sauna/steam room, exfoliation, Turkish bath experience. We absolutely loved it and my masseuse, a young lady whose name I didn’t get, gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I highflying recommend the experience!

Our expectations were set pretty low on this one at the start because of the super low price and the fact that we weren’t booking directly with the cruise. The drivers meet right outside the port with your name on a sign. It’s not the nicest vehicle (ours didn’t have A/C running) but they bring you right to the Turkish Baths. What I can say is that the rooms and spaces get better as you progress through the process. I think the key is that this isn’t a spa with a fancy lobby but an experience. You start in the saunas, take a dip in the shock pool, go back to the saunas, and then you go through the process of salt, foam, and massage. Men and women are together so bring a bathing suit. If you are a germaphobe, this might not be for you. It’s not that they don’t keep it clean but you are sweating in a room with 10 other people and then jumping into a pool that 10 other people used before you. If that makes you cringe, it may not be for you. There is very little up-selling though everyone who did was happy. I was equally happy with the base 20-minute massage but it’s back of your body only.

Oil massage was not included as stated in the website. And the 3 hours expected time is more like 30 mins. Although they offered us a discounted rate for the massage and facial treatment, we were in there for 1.5 hours including the waiting time. So unless you spend 2 hours in the sauna the treatment is only 30 minutes without the massage. The cleaning and turkish bath itself was over in 5 minutes which was very dissapointing. Although they offer different variant massages, they all end up the same thing. Don't see why people would give it higher rating unless they have never been to a spa before. Overall we were very disspointed with the experience.

My partner and I went when our cruise was stopped in Bodrum. After a twisting 20 minute drive, we arrived at an unassuming alley tucked between two restaurants. The manager went over prices with us, and everything was fairly reasonable. I mentally calculated about 1€ per minute regardless of service. They do have prefix menus of services. We all chose the gold package (150€) which included roughly 2+ hours of treatments in addition to the hammam (facial, massage, scalp massage, reflexology, body mud treatment) I love getting massages so I was in heaven. I hadn't had a massage this amazing since I went to Thailand. My only feedback for staff: 1. Provide the address of the pick up point. For cruises it's a grocery store near the port, but if you don't have signal or Google can't find you, the grocery store is a chain and you could walk to a different location 2. Staff should have disagreements outside the presence of guests, or at least not in a room made out of marble since it gets very loud. 3. Staff should be aware of their body odor. At least one staff member was a little ripe and it detracted from the bath experience since it was supposed to be a cleaning and cleansing experience.

I contact the agent on the same booked day because I didn't receive any massage from them about the pick up (I choosed pick up from my hotel) the operator told me you have to come to our location between 10am to 6pm (photo attached about the conversation), when I reached their office (around 2pm) the office closed. I sent a message for them no body answer, I waited around 15 minutes and no body came. I asked for refund because they don't have credibility and respect for their customer!

Nice experience overall. This is a family run spot. Not fancy or upscale. Please pack a swimsuit because you are in a co-ed environment and the actual 'bath' is done by 2 men. You arrive and walk up some narrow,outside steps to a waiting area (all outside so no ac). You are then sent back downstairs to a small room where you are told about upgrades to different massages. We chose the 30 minute massage. You are then sent to an (open) changing area where you can put your things in a locker but there is no door so anyone can walk in. you then go to a sauna to sit as long as you want. you then walk to the bath portion. You wait your turn to lay on the warm marble slab for your scrub (takes about 5-7 minutes). then you move to the other side of the slab for the bath/bubbles portion (also about 5-7 minutes). Both were nice but I would have liked more time. Next, you go back up those stairs to wait for your massage. They will sell you some teas and drinks if wanted (nothing complementary). The massage was nice and the workers were very polite. Nice overall as I really didn't know what to expect.

The staff was amazingly kind! The bath included a massage at the end. Nice rooftop bar to have water, cocktails, and snacks while enjoying a beautiful view. I was on a 7 day cruise with VV. I booked a Turkish Bath Excursion but they cancelled it 3 days before departure. I booked this myself through the internet and was nervous. The company was easy to work with and made the experience great! Bodrum ended up being my favorite island. The island is clean. The people are kind and respectful. I highly recommend!

Amazing experience, 100% worth doing at least once, they have tons of different options and are very polite and take care of you well. Also Sammy who organised all our trips, is an absolute legend, he was really nice explained everything for us and gave us really helpful directions and tips for us while we are here, book all your excursions with Sammy!

The Turkish bath is 5 stars. Great staff, i would definitely do it again. Was picked up from port and dropped off where requested. I was not impressed with the massage that we added on. Good price but I dont believe i got the full hour and i have had better massages at my local spot for less. Again, i do recommend but the massage I would skip

It was a good experience but will be useful to have more information on what to expect. We were not aware that we had to take our swim suits. It was also not mentioned that they only have male staff in the hamam. It was bit awkward as we were expecting some female staff too. Overall massage was good.

Sultan traditional Turkish Bath was amazing. Mehmet Kinav is personable and made us feel welcomed. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

The friendly staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We were provided with towels, slippers and a locker and given options for additional massages without any pressure to purchase. We both enjoyed the baths and the scrub, and we laughed a lot with the staff who were very friendly and entertaining.

We loved our Turkish bath and massage. It was amazing! Lulu gives a really good massage. We did have to wait about 30 minutes in between our bath and the massage, even though we had an appointment time booked. The transportation to and from was also a wait. When I called to say we were waiting at the port for pickup, they told us to just take a cab and they would pay for it. Then, when it was time to return, we had to wait about 20 minutes for their driver to take us back. We loved the bath and massage a lot. This business needs to work out a few scheduling issues to give their customers a better experience.

Such a unique experience. First time at a Turkish bath and had no clue what to expect. It’s definitely not a luxury experience so if you’re looking for something high end, this won’t be for you. But it Youre wanting to be immersed in culture and be taken care of by the most wonderful staff, get a wonderful sweat, scrub and massage, this is the place. Every single person who worked there was SO kind, authentic and really cared about their business and customers. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!!!

This was a unique and fun experience! Had never tried a Turkish bath, so no idea what to expect. Definitely way different than any mainstream spa experience. The guys were so nice here, and what we worried could feel like a sketchy place turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The exfoliation process is “interactive” to say the least, and the massage was bar none. Wonderful, warm and friendly therapists who also make it a really fun day. Relaxing on their quirky little rooftop space after the treatment was just right to top off the day.

The staff were very polite and made very feel comfortable. We had the bath and a 30 mins massage - which was amazing and relaxing. I would definitely go back. In fact the next day some of us went back to get a full 1 hour massage, that says how good the previous day's experience was!

It was our first time in a Turkish bath and the experience was great! A driver came for us to the hotel and took us to the place. We had sauna, a very nice body scrub, then we went to the resting area, where we had some drinks and finally a relaxing massage. It was a very good price for all the treatment, and the staff very friendly, specially the guy that did the body scrub. I would repeat if I come here again. Recommended! By the way, bring bikini or swim shorts, it makes things easier :)

first of all, i already made the confirmation about the pick up time (9.30am)and my hotel location (Su Hotel) on 16 of september, 7 days before my reservation date. But one day before the day, they texted me that they cannot pick me up at that time bcs they cannot reach the driver and they take so long time to replay back (until almost 1am). They said that they will let me know in the morning but most probably they can do it. In the morning at 9am they said they can pickup at 10am, so i said its okey, but no information until 10.03am until i texted them. And they said i need to go to main road in the corner (im the tourist there that don’t know which main road that they mean and what is the meaning of “in the corner” ? I was asking them to pin it on the maps or let me know the name of the road so i can go there. but it takes long time for them to replay my messages, its really confusing. Secondly the worse one was they NOT EVEN SAID SORRY for that, they kept on saying that my hotel is in the alley (but i confirmed already my hotel since 1 week before), and the driver was not there when i arrived in the meeting point that they wanted. After that they pick up another guests and waiting outside of the hotel for that guest until almost 12pm. The driver not even check in to the hotel until im the one who asked him to check. And he was giving me attitude. It was the worse tour ever.

The massages were very relaxing and well worth the price. They give you and option to upgrade and add on a massage of your choice. Our pick up and drop off was on time and the driver was very nice and patient.

Best Turkish bath and massage ever had in Turkey and have been coming to Turkey for many years. You won't get better, totally recomend wish they did them in England!

Great experience. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I chose an add-on 90 minute massage that was very reasonably priced and was one of the best massages I ever had. Wonderful that they will pick up and drop of anywhere. Highly recommend.
