Antalya Jeep Safari Off Road

Today we were very lucky as it was the sunniest day of the week. It was too cold to swim at the mountain waterfall, but we got to see all the colorful beauty of the Taurus Mountains in autumn. For this reason, I would like to thank our agency for recommending a tour suitable for our family, and also our driver who provided us with local guiding services. Thanks to them, our jeep safari experience in Antalya was wonderful.

I can say this was the best jeep program we have ever joined in our lives. Our guide, who was also our driver, was very attentive and careful. It was a great experience as we had the chance to both explore Antalya's amazing nature and swim. We would like to thank all the team and Solymos Travel for organizing our tour.

This was quite literally the best activity we did in Antalya! We loved getting splashed with water and cruising in the mountains, the swim in the waterfall and river were breathtaking and food was not bad. I would recommend this activity to anyone coming to Antalya and thank you Deniz for organizing this!!

Amazing drive through the Turkish countryside, and very fun stopping points and water fights. You get much wetter than you expect so be prepared. Drinks not being included in the price is a bit of a let down, and they do try and charge you for a lot of extras. However if you choose not to pay you’ll still have lots of fun

The description of this tour doesn't mention water fights, but it should. Water fights in moving jeeps are the main feature of this tour. Imagine Mad Max with super soakers. The staff encourage the water fights. You cannot opt out or stand aside. You will get soaked many times throughout the day, whether you want to or not. Any bags you take with you will get soaked. Some people enjoy the water fights. Good for them. But many people don't. At least a third of our group were not interested in them. Me and my companion and had no interest in water fights. If the description had said "water fights", we would not have chosen this tour. If you are looking for a peaceful jeep tour of the mountains, where you get to admire the scenery and see the traditions of the locals, do not pick this tour.

Absolutely brilliant! A must do! Be prepared to get very wet! Amazingly organized and cannot fault this trip at all. You get to see rural Turkey and have lots of fun along the way. Be prepared to pay for water guns, drinks, chips and of course have money for tips.

eep safari is so much fun. Everyone who goes to Antalya should try it out. Expect to get wet! This staff made it fun and took us out of our comfort zone even though it was scary at first.

I booked and paid for this Trip via the trip advisor app which gave me confidence. We were collected at our hotel and was in direct contact via WhatsApp which was great. There was 9 of us in our party of all ages. We set off from the base and within 10 minutes we stopped and had water fight with the other jeeps which was hilarious! Took in some beautiful scenery. We had a few stops in rivers and streams for more water fights and topping up. We stopped for lunch which was very nice in a great location. The jeep drivers make it fun for everyone. We kept cool all day. Be prepared to be drenched all day. If you do not want to get wet do not book this trip. It was a full on day 8.30 got back to the hotel at 5 pm. It was by far the best day trip we have ever had. Everyone enjoyed it. Great memories worth every penny. Top tip, buy a water gun from these guys one each! We will be talking about this day for years to come.

I can’t go into too much detail as it will spoil the experience but there was a smile on everyone’s face from start to finish. Our driver was excellent and the other tour guides on the day were excellent too and could be more helpful. The day was full of surprises and I could recommend this trip more. 100% fun all day.

Good fun day out! When we got there we were piled into 4 open back land rovers. We followed a load of off small 2 seater off road buggies out of the centre and all of the drivers had their music full blast and were sounding their horns - was a good atmosphere and all 4 trucks stayed together in covoy 😁. We done some light off road up the mountain to a small shack for some teas and a toilet break. We then carried on up the mountain to small cafe (at a fish farm) where we had a limited but decent lunch - I was quite happy with the chicken kebab 😁. On the way back down the mountain the drivers were a little crazy (not dangerous, just beeping their horns and racing past each other). All in all was a fun experience and well worth the price - try it, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed 😁👍🏻 (FYI we got to the off road site for about 9 / 9.30am and were back down on the mini buses by about 2.30pm so a good morning 😁.

We had so much fun with jeeps driving around the mountains, we feed our eyes with green. Lunch was fullfilling and tasty. We were picked up on time. Literally worth it✌️

That was a great experience. If you are in to advanture like me its highly recomended a Beautiful nature and fresh air. Also agency is very helpfull, Driver Denis helped me alot i forgot my phone in the car he bring it to me in the end of the tour. Great work!!

Was a really wonderful jeep safari, spent almost 6-7 hours, excellent guides/drivers who made it a really fun experience. Lunch served was basic and nice in a family run restaurant considering the safari continued after that.

For a first time solo traveler like me, a week travel with this agency couldn’t be any better. We became more friends like family and the way the entire trip was carried is truly an amazing experience. Everything is great. Professionalism, punctuality, going out of way to help when I need anything anytime. It’s just amazing. I’m so glad our path crossed. My trip in antalya definitely amazing because of them. We arrived on time and everything was fantastic, we got in our jeep and we set off, however this isn’t a safari the only animals you’ll see are chickens and goats maybe a few cats. The tour guide was brill as well at the photographer ! Can’t fault them and my daughter loved it. But it was a sightseeing trip instead of a safari.

The Jeep safari took us near the Taurus mountains we drove through some picturesque villages. The kids loved it as we had water fights and swim breaks, lunch was included (drinks and chips were extra). The choice of lunch was fresh fish, grilled chicken or omelette, salad and plenty of bread. The drivers were friendly and chatty.

Saw this and I wasn't really up for it not exactly the plains of Africa to see animals and it didn't state off road so wasn't expecting a land rover experience day either. However both my boys wanted to do it so we signed up and so glad we did as turned out to be a great experience. Yes no animals and just a few short includes that don't really challenge the vehicles. It was simply driving around like loons having water fights whenever another vehicle was close enough. Simple but so much fun we all really enjoyed the entire thing.

We have opted for the jeep Safari. Both the transfer there and back were very bad. crammed in too small a van with too many people. however, the Jeep Safari itself has made everything right. Visit the really beautiful places and enjoy the water during this Safari. Absolutely worth the money!

I expected the tour to be a lot different. The tour guides were constantly throwing buckets of water on us during the whole tour. I understand they would use a little water just for the fun of it and because of the hot weather. But the buckets were too much. Also, we didnt really stop at a traditional Turkish village. We only stopped once to see a panoramic view which was in my opinion not that spectacular. The swimming part was fun but it only lasted for 30 minutes. The tour guides were friendly and fun, but when I said I didn’t like the buckets of water they kept doing it which is in my opinion a bit unprofessional. It’s a fun daily activity for families with kids if you like to get soaking wet, otherwise, I wouldn’t really recommend it.

We booked through Solymos Travel during our stay in Antalya. What could I say, it was an amazing experience I'll forever remember. What made it even more special were the tour guides, the drivers and the photographers. The tour guide himself (whom I'm afraid to say I forgot his name, please feel free to remind me) was charismatic, charming, kind and funny.....honestly I could go on. They really took great care of us, accommodating our every need. I would highly recommend everyone to book trips through solymos travel. Honestly a world class service. First of all this was one the best life experience, the agency was very good and helpful, the tour guide is english speaking and very friendly as well as the photographer and the crew, nature was astonishing and peaceful we visited a generous family house in the rural area, restayrant was humble and great, the river visit was incredible, overall experience was the best highly recommended

It was absolutely awesome. With music and a good mood, we went by jeep to the mountains of Antalya. The tour was great fun. Always happy, clear recommendation. The crew was super nice. Great Service. Delicious lunch in between. Thanks to the team at Solymos Travel!

If you are looking for sensations, go your way, the majority of the route is on the road. Plus expect to be packed to 9 people in the back, uncomfortable ride. The SUV broke down three times. The views are not breathtaking however the host is nice and catches up a bit.

We spent our holiday in Antalya and decided to go on this safari one evening at the hotel. We were picked up on time by the transfer driver on tour day. Our hotel was located in the old town, we drove about 90 minutes to the meeting point for the safari. There we had to sign an information sheet and waited until the other participants arrived little by little. On site you could supply yourself cheaply with drinks (Sofrtdrinks 8 lira). After about 30 minutes it started - you were divided between the jeeps after the hotels. Our driver was very nice and accommodating, understood and spoke German. He was something of a guide on the entire safari and explained to us again and again what we were passing and what we saw. The tour passed various olives, oranges and pomegranate plantations - this was very impressive, let's see where they actually came from. The Taurus Mountains impressed us very much. It was said from the outset that a photographer would accompany the entire tour, so there were always "photo stations" on the ride. As you can guess from the description of the tour, it got wet - our driver meant "water fun"! The drivers enjoyed splashing the participants with water and also armed us with water bottles and motivated us to participate in the "water fun". We cannot understand the previous negative reviews due to the "bucket of water", we were very pleased about the cooling off. Some participants did not want to be wet sprayed - this was respected. We stopped at a small Turkish farm and were welcomed there friendly with thyme tea. Afterwards we went to the first "Swim Break" by a river. After the swim it was time to start the orders for lunch - the choice was chicken, fish and omelette (vegetarian!). French fries could be ordered for 15 lira (2,50€). Drinks were not included, soft drinks 9 lira / beer 20 - perfectly fine! The restaurant was beautiful - the toilets however very dirty (by previous visits of participants of the safari!). It is advisable for the women among us to take paces and disinfectant wipes. The food tasted very good, was freshly prepared. Afterwards we went back to a swimming break - at a beautiful bay! After about half an hour of swimming we went back to the starting point of the jeeps - there we were shown the photos and videos taken, who would like to buy a photo/video DVD for 100 lira / 16 € each, or both for the price of 25 €. We took the photo DVD and there were really a lot of good (!) photos on it - we didn't fall short and were happy about the many photos of us! Upon our arrival, the transfer buses were already ready to return. Conclusion of the jeep safari: We enjoyed it very much, we enjoyed the water battles with the drivers as well as the participants from the other jeeps - found the swimming breaks wonderful and enjoyed the rides in the jeep - you don't do that every day either! The drivers were really very nice - they love doing their job - you noticed and enjoyed that! Thank you to the great team! Other: It is really recommended to take a plastic bag (we had a zip bag with us) to protect your wallet/phone from the water. It worked great with us:) If desired, however, they can also be included. Smoking was not allowed on the ride, but at every break. It was super organized - we were always informed and all our questions were answered - unfortunately the guide was sometimes a bit difficult to understand, but this was mainly due to the unfriendly participants who did not want to listen to him and could not hold their beak - we thought it was a great shame, because he did a great job! To the brighter of us: Take it. Sunscreen. With. We had creamed ourselves 2-3 X and still got sunburned - you underestimate that a bit. Just like a cloth - in some places it gets very dusty - later you are grateful for it, otherwise you will surely cough up dust for a few days!
