Alanya Jeep Safari

We enjoyed our day out overall, with the river canyon being the absolute highlight. The scenery was fantastic and easily the best part of the excursion. Unfortunately, a few things took away from what could have been a brilliant experience. Firstly, the constant photographs and filming by the tour photographer became quite frustrating. We appreciate they are trying to sell photos and videos, but it felt excessive and at times took away from simply enjoying the experience. The lunch was another major disappointment. Although advertised as complimentary, there seemed to be a constant push to purchase extras. Bread was included with lunch, but if you wanted butter with it, that was an additional €5! Chips were also €5, and garlic bread was €7. These prices seemed excessive, particularly when the included lunch itself was cold and of poor quality. We also visited the caves, which cost an additional 775 Turkish lira for our family of four. While not a huge amount of money, we didn’t feel the caves were particularly impressive or worth the additional cost. It’s a shame because the canyon itself was absolutely stunning and made the trip worthwhile. With less emphasis on selling extras, better quality food and a more relaxed approach to photography, this could be an excellent excursion. Overall, we’d recommend the trip for the beautiful scenery, but be prepared for additional costs and don’t expect much from the lunch.

We had an amazing day from start to finish! It was reasonably priced for what the day offered. Our driver was lovely as was the tour guide. We did nothing but laugh all day. The driver made sure we were all happy, even offered me his jacket to keep me warm. The last stop off was a lovely all inclusive restaurant where the food was tasty, it had a swimming pool aswell as water slides. The guide explained everything to us thoroughly. Would highly recommend to anybody!

Everything went very smooth and as planned

This is a fun day out where you rent super soakers (extra cost of £5) at the beginning and spend the day shooting the other jeeps. You do briefly see some sights, but if it’s a cultural visit you are after, this isn’t for you. We had a brilliant time. Lunch was not very good, but edible. Drinks on the stops along the way are expensive, and none are included, so bring water to drink.

Excellent tour the kids loved it and by far our best day. Value for money and way better than a boat trip in our opinions. Be warned the fresh water in the river is cold 🥶🤣

A great day out, excellent value for money and great fun, you will get wet but the weather was so good its a welcome relief, great team, loads of laughs, food was good too, in short for the money you cant go wrong here.

Totally worth the price we paid , being a family of 9 all of different ages we had the most amazing day from waterfights ( men expecially ) to sights , fruit tasting swimming in rivers and visiting caves. From the moment we where picked up we had the best day ever . Kids cant wait to go home and tell the teachers what they got up to , totally recommend sherlock for all extersions nothing is to much trouble

Picked up from our Villa by open top Jeep by a very happy driver at 9am. Drive to a meeting point and rented our water pistols for the obligatory water fights along the way (great way to cool down) Visited some awesome places one with an aqua park for the kids or for the little more adventurous was a beautiful lake. Another stop for lunch along the way and visit a proper old school village and open stalls for some authentic shopping. Another swim stop on the way back in fresh water lake and some great photo opportunities. Driver was awesome, very well planned and hosted by some great people.

We booked Jeep Safari with Sherlock and it was a very easy transaction we were collected from hotel and transported to the Jeep and were given the opportunity to hire water guns which I feel was more cost effective, the water fights, your guide and photo opportunities made the whole experience one to remember I would highly recommend

Had a fab day, enjoyed by all. Food was great, got some great photos and really enjoyed the water fight. Had a dip in the freezing river and then also the pool later in day. Well worth the money, would definitely recommend recommend

Myself, my partner and 2 daughters (12 and 7) went on this excursion today and had the best day. So much fun! We laughed all day. From the moment we got on the jeep… water fights (prepared to get very wet), dancing, music, swimming pools, waterfalls and natural pools. The hosts were amazing and extremely helpful. The food was yummy and we all had smiles on our faces from start to finish. Definitely go on this it does not disappoint. Highly recommend.

We stopped by the Sherlock Holmes’ for lunch, was offered a brochure to look at excursions. Standard Turkish behaviour we thought. Except it was not. We ate, we browsed, we asked. The price was SO MUCH CHEAPER than we expected. Booked it, what’s the worst that could happen?! Honestly the best day we’ve had here! So much to see, so much fun! Lunch included (no drinks though, but relatively cheap) the lunch was a good variety. Bring sunscreen, quick dry clothes, and a bit of cash (€5 to rent a water pistol. Which I assure you, you will need) it was so much fun and as a family! Absolutely recommend this 11/10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was the best trip me and my family have ever been on whilst on holiday, I would 100% recommend everyone to do the Shakespeare safari. Absolutely brilliant

We had such an amazing time on this safari adventure! 🤩 The team picked us up from the hotel right on time, and we started our journey with the first stop at a beautiful viewpoint — absolutely stunning! 😍 We then continued to a 100-year-old house and a beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately, we couldn’t swim this time because the water was a bit dirty, but we still got the chance to go right under the waterfall — such a cool experience! 💦 Next, we visited the deepest cave in Turkey, and wow… it was truly impressive! 😮 After that, we stopped for a delicious meal and had some free time to enjoy the pools and relax in the sun ☀️🏊‍♀️ Overall, it was a super fun and memorable experience! The drivers and guides were incredibly friendly, funny and full of energy, which made the whole adventure even more enjoyable 😂🙌 Extra points to photographer! We got really beautiful photos and video from this trip.🙌🏻 ⚠️ One little warning: water fights here are taken VERY seriously! 😂💦 Be ready for battle and definitely bring your sunglasses! 😎🤣 Highly recommend this safari adventure — we had so much fun! ❤️

As there was only the four of us we were given the 5 star treatment after being picked up from the hotel we were driven to Sherlocks restaurant and given the customary Turkish tea which we both enjoyed . After a few minutes we were off we drove up into the hills stopping at various places of interest which included a cave and a incredibly old village were again we drank tea while seated in a stunning old room with a fire smouldering while our guide explained his religion which was really interesting. We really enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend anyone to go on it .

Excellent trip our second time as did same trip 3 years ago. This time brought children along great fun and great to see lot of same guides. Fun day out highly recommend.

Fabulous day. Picked up from our hotel on time. Friendly driver. Met up with other jeeps and had an absolutely amazing day. The water fight was so much fun. Very entertaining. Full day of everything you could wish for. Fun drive, good food, swimming in beautiful water, village visit. Couldn’t ask for more 100% recommend

We booked this yesterday to travel today. The driver (Alberto) arrived on time and his charm and whit entertained us, the seating arrangement lead to me being separated in the vehicle (which wasn’t a problem) but he re shuffled us so we could enjoy the experience together. The experience in a whole was absolutely amazing and what a way to explore the area. I would advise to go prepared to get soaked but this was also the fun part while driving around ( water fights with 8 or so other vehicles). The breaks are amazing from near the red tower, the I ❤️ Alanya sign, village/market, both stops at the piknik areas, the food and just general the service and entertainment. As mentioned Alberto who was our driver was amazing from picking us up to dropping us off, I’m sure the guy can speak every language out there. He is the perfect guide and is entertaining. Highly recommend, we are going to the sun set tomorrow night at the castle with them to then eat at their restaurant. Amazing company!!!!!

Myself my husband and 14 your old sons went on this jeep safari, we had an absolutely amazing day . My sons have said it has been one of their favourite holiday experiences they have ever had . Totally recommend this . Also book directly with sherlock for the best deals they are so friendly and helpful .

I was supposed to do a night tour but due to the weather, it got changed to daytime, which, I didn't mind, they kept me informed throughout the month before the tour started. Plus I let them know it was my birthday and it was doing a solo trip on messager and on the day they looked after me, and made me feel welcome. Alberto was amazing at his job and one of the best drivers out there. The pickup time from the hotel was like 10 minutes early and going back was quick. and wow, I felt like in Cloud 9 different engine speeds to get me going. (best when you stand up) I was nervous at first being solo but after I loosing up I enjoyed the day. I wish I had stood up more on the truck to get more photos of myself but I was too shy at first. Met some nice people and everyone was friendly and wished me happy birthday. Best birthday gift to myself plus I learnt a lot about Alanya. Note to you guys, drinks especially alcohol can be pricy as well photos but just enjoy the moment. Plus the photos you get will have so many photos of other people and strangers, so you will look through about 500 photos to find yourself which I didn't have a problem with, just remember to smile and be out there. I bought it because I needed photos of the trip since I forgot my tripod at the hotel. (Ps I am the black girl with the birthday sash)

really enjoyed our experience here staff was amazing and lively, food was great, even gave complementary snacks as we was leaving and waiting for our jeep to show up and take us back to our hotel. 100% recommend 10/10 experience! our safari excursion was also great very skilled drivers showing the best views of antalya!

I would recommend this activity for those wanting to see more in Alanya. The guides brought good vibes and the Jeep ride was very fun. They let you stand up and enjoy the views from there. The caves and the canyon, are an extra cost, but very cheap. I brought swimwear but didn’t swim because the water in the canyon is EXTREMELY cold so only bring a swimwear if you’re willing to do that, if not then it’s a waste of time. They also offer photography for the day which comes at an extra cost, you can decline this as we did. It was a long day but worth it.
