Symbola Oludeniz Beach Hotel

Very disappointing experience – I would not recommend this hotel The location of the hotel is beautiful and the views are amazing, but unfortunately, staying at this hotel significantly reduced the enjoyment of our Ölüdeniz experience. The bathroom is one of the biggest problems. The shower area has no proper door, so as soon as you turn on the shower, water gets all over the bathroom floor. The sink also does not drain properly and collects water, and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The cleanliness is also disappointing and definitely not at the standard I would expect from a hotel in such a beautiful tourist destination. The breakfast is very basic, with almost no variety. Even more disappointing is the attitude of some of the restaurant staff during breakfast. Some of them were not friendly or welcoming at all and do not even seem interested in making guests feel comfortable. At exactly 10:00 AM, they turn off the coffee machine because breakfast is officially over, and they are not willing to make any exception, even if guests are still there and simply want a cup of coffee. This gives the impression that guest comfort and satisfaction are not a priority. Overall, the hotel feels very focused on money rather than on providing a pleasant experience for its guests. Another major issue is the stairs. They are very difficult and exhausting. The hotel is built on a steep area, so getting around can be physically tiring. Ölüdeniz itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning scenery and a wonderful beach. If you are coming to Ölüdeniz to enjoy the beach and have a relaxing holiday, I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel. The location is beautiful, but the hotel itself is not worth sacrificing your holiday experience for.

Symbola Hotel, located near Ölüdeniz Beach, was a really lovely place to stay. The staff were incredibly polite and genuinely kind, which made a big difference throughout our visit. We stayed in a private room at the top of the hotel with a jacuzzi. The interior was all wood, very cozy and charming, and felt like a peaceful little retreat. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with a good variety of options to choose from. The hotel is built on a steep hillside overlooking the beach, which gives it beautiful views but also means quite a climb. To reach our room, we had to walk up more than 200 steps. So if you have knee or joint issues, it’s something to keep in mind. That said, the staff were extremely helpful with our heavy luggage and carried everything all the way up for us. Special thanks to Mehmet, who was especially friendly and resourceful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend it — as long as you don’t mind a bit of a workout getting to your room 😄

A very good hotel for a short and comfortable stay. The room size is average, clean, and well-maintained, but the ultimate highlight is definitely the breathtaking, fabulous sea view. The breakfast is an open buffet with good options, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. While the services and amenities are not at the highest luxury level, they are practical and perfectly sufficient for a short trip. Recommended for its exceptional view and great location.

Delightful little hotel with a rustic characterful feel and family run atmosphere. The team were welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are well proportioned and well equipped- air con, TV, tea making, safe and fridge etc with complimentary water every day. Breakfast and dinner were really tasty and everything was so clean. Built into the cliffs, all areas offer fabulous views of the bay while being just five minutes from the beach. Perfect! Not for those with accessibility issues but gave us everything we needed for a very relaxing break.
