Unfortunately, our experience at this resort was quite disappointing. The staff was friendly and the service was generally fast, which was one of the few positive aspects. However, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor and practically unusable throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was also very disappointing. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the overall cleaning was far below what we expected from a resort of this standard. The food was very repetitive and basic. We stayed for 7 days and the same dishes were repeated over and over again. Apart from that, the food selection was quite basic and lacked variety. Overall, the resort has potential, but the food variety, room cleanliness, and Wi-Fi service need significant improvement.

Extremely disappointing experience for a 5-star hotel. From the moment we checked in, the cleanliness was far below what we expected. Our room was visibly dirty, with peanuts left on the floor. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned — there were hairs in the drain. Unfortunately, the lack of hygiene was not limited to our room. The placemats in the restaurant were visibly stained and clearly not cleaned properly between guests. The common areas of the hotel were dusty and looked neglected and poorly maintained. What was even more disappointing was the staff’s reaction when we complained. There was a complete lack of concern and, most importantly, no feeling that anyone actually cared about resolving the problem. This is particularly unacceptable for a hotel that presents itself as a luxury 5-star property. We also noticed a disturbing difference in the way guests were treated depending on their nationality. Rude, pushy and disrespectful behaviour from some guests was openly tolerated, while other guests appeared to be treated differently. This creates a very unpleasant and unfair atmosphere. A 5-star hotel should provide clean rooms, well-maintained common areas and, above all, equal respect and service to every guest, regardless of nationality. Unfortunately, Selectum Collection Bodrum did not meet these basic expectations during our stay. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not consider it a true 5-star experience.

We are currently staying at this hotel and we are really happy with everything. It is a perfect place for everyone – families with children, couples, young people and older guests. There is always something to do, so you never get bored. The food is delicious, fresh and varied, with plenty of choice every day. Drinks are always fresh and nicely chilled. The beach is beautiful, the pools are great, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The staff deserve a special mention – everyone is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the whole atmosphere is wonderful. The All Inclusive service is excellent, and the evening entertainment makes the holiday even more enjoyable. We are having a wonderful time here and would definitely come back again. 10/10 from us! We had a wonderful holiday at Selectum Collection Bodrum and would definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed in Building 1 in a Family Room (2 Bedrooms). The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Every day we were asked if we wanted housekeeping. We chose cleaning every other day, but it was also easy to request it through WhatsApp or by leaving a note on the door handle. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lots of trees and greenery, making the whole resort feel peaceful and relaxing. The animation team did a great job, and we really enjoyed both the daytime activities and the evening shows. The sea was clear, and also the beach was. I also noticed that the staff were constantly cleaning the entire resort. Unfortunately, some guests leave a mess behind, but the staff deal with it quickly and always with a smile. They really deserve credit for their hard work. This is one of the reasons why I don't really understand some of the negative reviews. No hotel is absolutely perfect, and small imperfections can be found everywhere. The food was very good, with plenty of choice for everyone. The desserts were especially amazing—delicious and beautifully presented. There were plenty of activities for everyone. I enjoyed playing table tennis with my daughter, my wife joined the yoga sessions, our other daughter had fun trying the jumping boots activity, and we also tried stand-up paddleboarding together. The only thing that bothered me, and the rest of my family, was smoking. I wish smoking were allowed only in designated areas, not around the pools and sunbeds. There is already a non-smoking section on the beach, which is a great idea. Unfortunately, during one of the evening shows in the amphitheater, someone sitting behind us started smoking, which spoiled the experience a little. Overall, I think this hotel fully deserves its five stars. Even if I were very critical, I still wouldn't rate it below four stars. We had a fantastic holiday, and I hope we will return one day.
