Prudential Hotel

I enjoyed my stay at Prudential Hotel. The location is excellent – it’s literally on top of Jordan station, and also sits above a small shopping mall which is convenient for basic shopping needs. It’s also surrounded by many shops, cafés, and restaurants, and is a stone’s throw away from the very nice Kowloon Park. The rooms are a good size, with all the usual amenities you’d expect. Soundproofing was good. My only issue with the room was that I found the mattress to be incredibly firm. This is probably good for back sleepers, but as a side sleeper it was a bit uncomfortable. I ended up putting the duvet under me to soften it a bit. The rooftop contains a sunbathing area and a swimming pool of a decent length (not sure exactly how long but I’d guess perhaps 16 metres - long enough to swim laps if you want). You get a great panorama from the rooftop. My only gripe is that the pool’s opening hours are short – I think it was around 9am until 6.30pm, which meant I couldn’t go for the early morning or later evening swims that I had planned. This may not be an issue for most people, but as a keen swimmer it was a shame I couldn’t swim while enjoying the HK skyline at night. Anyway, overall these were minor gripes and I would recommend this hotel to someone wanting a location in the central Kowloon area.

Had a really good stay here, the rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, nice area, lots of supermarkets and shops at walking distance. Very close to a metro station as well.

Great location, very easy to take a bus to and from the airport, and close to the subway for convenient travel. The room is spacious, fairly clean, reasonably priced, and has plenty of space to open luggage. Free canned sodas (5-6 cans) are provided in the room. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you barely need to go anywhere else.

decent rooms, smart TV (connect via webbrowser first if you want to use netflix), expensive restaurant (breakfast price reasonable). Location good, right inside mall and with access to subway. Pool sucks, cloudy, no towels, no shadow, no options to order smth. to drink.
