Cleopatra Golden Beach Hotel

Unfortunately, this hotel was a big disappointment. The only real positives are the location - close to Cleopatra Beach and the city centre 1 and the friendly reception staff. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the rest of the staff. For a 4-star all-inclusive hotel, the standard is far below expectations. We have stayed in 2- and 3-star hotels in Greece and Spain that were much better. The food was poor and had very little variety- mortadella appeared almost every day in different forms, and we often had to eat outside the hotel. The meal times are also inconvenient if you actually want to explore the area. The all-inclusive drinks were another disappointment. The selection was very limited, portions were tiny, and the beer tasted watered down. The bar was open only from around 12:35 to 22:00. A good example is the drinks menu displayed at the hotel bar. When I asked for a Cuba Libre, the bartender rather unpleasantly asked what that was supposed to mean. I explained that it was rum, cola and lime, but she said she still didn’t understand me. In the end, I simply received rum and cola, and the drink filled only about half the glass. The pool is tiny, with only a few sun loungers. Even the advertised facilities, such as darts and chess, were not really usable - there were no darts and the chessboard was completely worn out. The UNO cards were dirty and smelled strongly of cigarettes. There was also a persistent sewage smell in our bathroom. We were not expecting luxury, but we did expect a reasonable 4-star all-inclusive standard. Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet those expectations.

Me and my family went in July to this hotel. By the previous comments made by people who visited we were kind of skeptical to go there BUT the hotel was amazing, it was close to the beach. The shops. The food was okay, everyone found something. The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and nice. There was AC, mini fridge, TV and a nice bathroom. Although there weren't many attractions for the kids in the hotel besides the swimming pool, the little trips were amazing. Especially the one with the jeeps and water fights. I RECOMMEND.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU WON’T PAY FOR THE SAFE!! The cleaning staff literally opened my bag I left in the room and took 40€ out of my wallet without my permission. Reporting this incident to the management did nothing since they write in small text that they are not liable for cash/belongings gone, which means they are EXPLOITING A LOOPHOLE to steal money off of clients. Also implying by “going to the police” but I think everyone knows that the police is corrupted enough anyway. On good notes, the air conditioner works well and the food is pretty good, as well as soft drinks selection. This is where the good part ends. Cocktails are PAID, sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are PAID, literally everything apart from your existence is an additional fee. Overall, another one of those godforsaken hotels that just use the “Cleopatra” beach’s name. Don’t go there if you have children, because there are no animations for them whatsoever. Hotel is for people looking for a place to stay in Alanya, not for people seeking a good vacation. Hotel deserves 2.5-3 stars at max.

We came to spent my 4 years anniversary, we were super happy to choose the place , our room was clean neat and with the ocean view , truly amazing, we also had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant " all inclusive" everything so fresh , salads ,drinks , soups , meat , daily fresh fruits , we really enjoy our time .we will definitely be back next year . Thank you everyone for this outstanding experience ohh yes the beach is just amazing 10 steps far aways from the resort
