Cender Hotel

Absolutely terrible experience. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are not cleaned since we entered. Everything feels dirty, unhygienic and neglected, and the whole hotel is in very poor condition. The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Whatever you ask for, either they tell you it cannot be done, or they say “yes” and then simply never do it. Most of the staff look annoyed whenever you speak to them and make you feel like you are bothering them. The worst experience was getting stuck in the elevator. We were genuinely scared and there was nobody coming to help us. We eventually managed to force the door open ourselves. When we told reception what had happened, they barely seemed to care. Terrible cleanliness, terrible service and a complete lack of concern for guests. I would never stay here again and definitely cannot recommend Cender Hotel.

This has been the absolute worst hotel we've stayed in. Floors hadn't been mopped as noted by the black bottoms of the white house shoes (provided by hotel) and strange socks under the bed. Beds had linen folded on top of the them, so you had to partially make up the bed on arrival. Had to request clean towels and toilet paper. Showers dirty and moldy. We stayed 4 days and did not get room service despite having the housekeeping light on the entire time and asking the front desk twice! Front desk guy just shrugs and says "housekeeping closed". Chose this hotel because it had a gym on website which was closed. They told us it opens a 1 p.m. went back down, still wasn't open, only to have a different clerk tell us it closed and will not be open again. Oh, I cannot forget to mention that they do not allow ANY outside food or drink. That's right, not even water bottles, that is so ridiculous. I can go on. Location got a 2 because the views were spectacular.

So our Jet2 Flight got cancelled and all aprox 200passengers we're taken to this hotel. How this is a 4 Star hotel is beyond me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Only thing was nice the outside view. Breakfast option was limited and made you feel like you are going to vomit. The room was ok but AC was pointless as it wasn't working. Bathroom was like it hadn't seen a good clean in months. We went out to eat at the local Macdonalds. Was so happy when the coaches came back to take us to the airport. Lets not forget the lovely additional guests the Bed Bugs! This place may have been a 4 Star at one point but is going straight to the dumps.

Lovely 5 day stay at this hotel. Nice room with fantastic seaview. Great swimming pool. Good location with an easy walk through the park to the Old Town or a short tram ride. Friendly helpful staff. Good value. Would stay here again.
