We had such a lovely experience at Ambrisya. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful atmosphere to the warm and genuine hospitality of the team. We were especially grateful for the kindness and attention we received throughout our stay. A special thank you to the Front Office Manager, who was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his guests and his team. I would also like to give a very special mention to Hülya, who took care of our room. She was exceptionally kind, warm, and thoughtful, and her lovely attitude made our stay even more special. People like her are what make a hotel feel truly welcoming. We will definitely miss Ambrisya, and we’re so happy that we managed to visit this year. We sincerely hope that when Hilton takes over, they will preserve the same wonderful atmosphere, hospitality, and personal touch that made our stay so memorable. Thank you to the entire team for a beautiful stay. We hope to see you again next year! ❤️

Excellent beachfront hotel with a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with a relaxing holiday feeling throughout the property. The beach area was one of the best parts of the hotel, offering stunning sea views and a peaceful environment for swimming and sunbathing
1/5 NOT a 5-star experience. Would not recommend. My family and I stayed at Ambrosia Hotel for 4 nights, from 9–13 August 2026. I was travelling with my mother and younger brother. The breakfast was good, but unfortunately that was the main positive of our stay. The most serious issue was that our room door would not lock at all. Reception sent a technician who was unable to fix it. His suggested solution was to use the upper chain, telling us that “if a robber comes, you will hear him from the chain.” I was genuinely shocked that this was considered an acceptable solution at a hotel advertising itself as 5 stars, especially while staying with my family. We requested a room change because of this security issue but were told the hotel was completely full. At the same time, Agoda and other booking websites appeared to show availability, including our room category. I then went to reception and specifically asked to speak with the manager. A receptionist told me in Turkish that our situation was “not serious” enough to speak with the manager. If a family being unable to securely lock their hotel room isn’t considered a serious situation, I genuinely don’t know what is. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only problem. We experienced a broken shower head, frequent lack of hot water and extremely low water pressure. When we complained about the water, we were told it was because Bodrum municipality wasn’t supplying enough water. The facilities were also disappointing. One jacuzzi was completely broken and the other barely worked. The Turkish hammam had no working hot water, and the steam room didn’t work at all. When I asked for a kese/loofah to use the hammam myself, I was told this wasn’t available and that I would instead need to pay €25 for their scrubbing service. Our room also had an insect problem, including cockroaches and other jumping insects. I have photos taken during our stay and am attaching them to this review. What disappointed me most wasn’t simply that things broke — maintenance problems can happen at any hotel. It was how the problems were handled. Over our four-night family stay, we encountered issue after issue, yet even a room door that couldn’t properly lock was apparently not considered serious enough for management. I’ve stayed at genuine 5-star hotels such as Swissôtel, and this was nowhere near that standard. More importantly, a locking room door, hot water, a functioning shower, reasonable water pressure and a clean room are basic hotel requirements — not 5-star luxuries. The hotel’s online photos and presentation gave us a very different expectation from what we experienced in reality. Good breakfast, but it cannot compensate for the security, cleanliness, maintenance and service issues. Had I known beforehand what our four-night stay would be like, I would have booked my family elsewhere. I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel.
Far below what we expected. The quality was disappointing, and it certainly did not feel like a 5-star hotel. Sadly, it took away from our overall Bodrum experience.
We stopped fir a drink, ordered then waited 30 minutes for them to arrive. The area was very quiet, only 2 other tables occupied in their large terrace by the beach. One of the cocktails was an incorrect drink.
