This is not a 4-star hotel. It’s well located, close to the beach, the AC works well, but we had a lot of problems. We found cockroaches at night in our room. They offered to move us. But in the second room, another cockroach was spotted. They had it disinfected by a professional. When the staff came to disinfect, they knocked and quickly opened the door without giving us time to open it ourselves. Very little privacy in this hotel. They offered us access to the private beach until the end of our stay as compensation. The rooms are not modern at all, the TVs are very old. The blanket is ridiculous. Very small for two people, and it’s very tiring to always have to ask for things at the reception. The food isn’t worth it, always the same, few Turkish specialties with meat. We often eat pasta. And the breakfast is terrible. Apart from the pancakes, nothing sweet. It feels like a nursing home. The coffee is really bad. Luckily, there are good coffee shops (Luna) and restaurants nearby. One day, when we returned to our room, we noticed that a 'do not disturb' sign had been put on our door. It wasn’t ours. So, the room wasn’t cleaned. And the staff and managers couldn’t tell who had put it there even after checking the security cameras. Maybe a bad joke. On another day, after a late excursion, we had requested a meal tray. The front desk staff asked us to wait in the room. Which we did. But the server came in without knocking… Luckily the keycard makes a noise when you use it. Anyway, the security is pretty average. Having tried another hotel for one night during our stay for the same price, I can tell you there’s much better. And finally, we came back sick.

I don't recommend this hotel the waiters on restaurant make hurry up guests to only have pausa at 14:00 and 20:30 !I'm not satisfied with that this was stressed to Me and all them should be more patient to people because we are pay this and no any hotel do that before and puzzle bar have no idea about how to make easy drink whiskey cola and they lie about what drink including that was disrespectful! Who know how to make whiskey sour no one! where is chef there??
I had a truly wonderful stay at Alaiye Kleopatra Hotel. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean, everything is well taken care of, and you can really feel the attention to detail. But what made this place exceptional for me was the staff — I don’t think I have ever experienced such genuinely kind, warm, and helpful people. Their smiles, kindness, and positive energy made every day even more special. You can feel that they truly care about their guests, and it creates a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely come back with a smile.
WiFi couldn’t reach the room so had to pay for roaming all my stay unless I wanted to go to the lobby every night, drinks in bar were watered down and not nice tasting, food selection was very limited and nothing with meat tasted good resulting in me and my friend having dodgy belly’s most nights, I reported a broken tv and it took 3 days to repair. The staff were friendly enough though but I’m not sure how long ago this was rated 4 star it definitely needs reviewing as it’s a 3 at the most
The hotel had insane value for money after booking through a travel agency. The buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing and changing every day. Everything you could ever need, the hotel comes equipped with it. Sun beds at the beach, sauna and massage at the hotel are not included, and drinks at the beach are also not included in all-inclusive. But besides that, there’s pools (indoors, outdoors, shops, …) It was pre-season, so water temperature was still a bit too cold, which made it a little unfortunate that the indoor pool wasn’t heated to the advertised temperature. Unfortunately, there was a constant smell coming from the bathroom, which apparently is natural due to the plumbing and ocean storms or something. The cleaning staff came and desinfected it once, which covered the smell for almost 24 hours, but we didn’t intend to repeatedly ask for this extra service, so that’s on us. The Wi-Fi was not stable enough for working. And the hotel wasn’t been that busy. My wife had to change floors constantly. We purchased mobile data packages, but hotspot / tethering is suppressed for data roaming by providers in Turkey, so trying to get work done was a hell. I’d say it was working about 70% of the time, but the remaining time, you wouldn’t be able to even open a single website. The rooms are not very isolated noise-wise so that sometimes people shouting on the streets or the neighboring room playing tv or video games can wake you up. The staff was generally very friendly and accommodating (e.g. to requiring additional blankets or towels) and forgave us for having used to room towels for the beach once. But there were three issues for us: Once, where they misunderstood me when I tried returning my wristband after a day of all-inclusive and then charged me two extra days of all-inclusive. I haven’t had a single meal with them for two days, even the already included breakfast, and the staff was able to confirm this, but they still claimed not to be able to do a refund, which seems odd in the hospitality industry. On another occasion, the staff wasn’t able to communicate to each other our tour organizer’s request for a bundled breakfast for an adventure tour which picked us up at 7am (beginning of breakfast hours), which meant that we had to buy breakfast along the way at designated, cooperating break spots at locations in the middle of nowhere offering breakfasts specifically to tour attendees. On a third occasion, I asked the reception for a phone to call the airport’s lost and found, only to then be asked to wait for my tour organizer, who, after 20 seconds in the hold line hung up, said they’re not responding, and continued selling us on day trips around Alanya, which was obviously the intended outcome. (We were glad to have done the tour, though, but they’re also advertised all over town) The extra all-inclusive days and extra breakfast cost us around 60 euros, so not the end of the world, but at no point, an apology or compensation was offered, besides a coffee on the way out, which might be a cultural thing, but I expect differently in the hospitality industry. We loved Mehmet, he was such a lively and lovely soul and cheered up our stay constantly. We’re heartbroken that we couldn’t leave a bigger tip due to a lack of tipping by card and the ATMs overcharging. We wouldn’t shy away from visiting again, since we still feel like we got an unreasonable value for the total costs from a Central European perspective.
