Lina, our guide, was really knowledgeable. It’s a 12+ hours tour. We really had a great time. I recommend doing the helicopter trip (not included in this tour). I would use them again for our next Colombia trip!

A wonderful well organized trip. Well managed. We were picked up from our hotel. The tour guide was very good but unfortunately the English speaking guide was not available that day. We still opted to take tour.
The tour company met us at the location on time, driver did a great job to get us there safe on time and take us back to the city on time. The Tour guide Andrea was Amazing, always taking care of us and giving us information with a kind and fun attitude. I highly recommend this Tour and Tourism company.
The tour was fun although longer than advertised. Elizabeth was excellent and the tour ran smoothly.
We were not happy with the experience. An English speaking guide was confirmed, yet when the tour guide arrived, she spoke no English and made no attempt to do so. She also arrived yelling at us, giving us a hard time for not being ready a few minutes early when she arrived. Once on the tour, we were given no sense as to what was happening — we had to ask repeatedly and were met with an attitude simply by needing some information in English. Toward the end of the tour, we finally got the guide to google translate a few directions. Lastly, when it came time to departing the bus back at end of tour, the bus went right past our hotel. We had to ask them to pull over, had we not done so, who knows where the bus would have dropped us.
Great Guide very knowledgeable and patient. Spent good time at all the sights and the meals provided were delicious and well made. The Boat tour provided the final elegant touch to the day.
The tour was nice, beautiful views from the El Penon. Guatape was colourful, beautiful, artsy. However, there was a misunderstanding with the pick up time which was not nicely handled. We booked our tour at 8am, however, the driver arrived at our hotel at 7am and was not happy we are not ready. The tour guide Maya texted us that she cannot wait for us around 7.15 am. The driver took us to the main meeting point and the tour bus ( with us) left at 7.30am. I asked our tour guide Maya why our tour left a half an hour earlier and why we were treated like we were late, however she never gave us any explanation or apologies. This situation ruined our morning and we still do not know what happened that morning. I suspect they combined the 7am group and the 8am group together in the same bus, however, failed to inform us about the earlier pick up time.
Juliana was an awesome guide. She was friendly and engaging. The meals were good. The climb and the view were lovely.
The tour was amazing. They were running late to pick us up & kept in contact the entire time. Veronica our tour guide was exceptional.
Very nice destination! But because it takes a full bus of people (about 50), the pick up was very messy. I booked 8 am start (to have breakfast at the hotel) but was told to be ready at 7 am sharp. I was waiting at the lobby hungry till 7:30, when i was told just to take a cab and get to a pick up location. The tour description says “good for avoiding crowds). Well, 50 people is a crowd and at most stops other busses were there.
My girlfriend loved it. She rode the boat which she didnt expect. She enjoyed the meals. She got quite the exercize and loved the view. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
This Guatape tour was super informative. Patricia was a very knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide! I loved all the different stops we took, and the authentic Colombian breakfast and lunch!
We got to see lots of different things on our way to Guatape. We also go to eat good food and made friends with other tourists. The bus is a little small.
The landscape of the Stone of the Peñol is really amazing and the view from above is totally worth it. It is an imposing and majestic formation. Unfortunately, however, it is rather overshadowed by everything around it: restaurants, stalls, signs and structures that take a lot of magic out of the environment. It would have been ideal if the tour included some stop to take photos with a cleaner and more natural view, without so much “visual noise”. As for the organization, the times of the tour were very good, well coordinated and without excessive rush. The most slack point was the stop in Altos del Chocho, which seemed like a total waste of time. Unfortunately we were not offered tour options without this stop. Both breakfast and lunch were rather untasty, just enough to deliver, but far from being a pleasant experience. The boat ride could have been much better if not for the exaggeratedly loud music, which made it difficult to even converse or enjoy the scenery. A more moderate volume would have completely changed the experience. Bottom line: the natural appeal is spectacular, but the tour could be greatly improved if you took more care of the surroundings, eliminated some unnecessary stops and paid attention to the details that make a difference in the traveler experience.
I found it amazing and interesting absolutely everything... the excellent guide, they met all my expectations... and I would like to reoccupy it. Thank you very much for all the atmosphere was pleasant 🥰
First time we took this tour with this company, we loved everything. David and the tour team behaved amazingly, the service excellent. I recommend them 100%. My advice for everyone is to have good communication and follow the guide's schedules so that everything goes well and can be enjoyed with the given time.
Excellent online attention on their web numbers, the tour the meals and the guide were quite good, I hired two tours with them and everything was to my liking
Todo fue increíble, visitar el Alto del Chocho es una experiencia muy linda y las visitas desde la piedra del Peñol, algo imperdible
A unique experience, very attentive and organized, it was truly something incredible, from the driver Don Luis who was always attentive and cautious, and without a doubt Patricia our guide always sharing her knowledge, showing genuine interest and ready to serve at all times , thanks to both of you! Carry plenty of space in your camera, each stop is unique and clearly effective for goodies
Excellent customer service, wonderful time management! I really enjoyed the trip from start to finish, thank you very much!
Very good organization, perfect times of enjoyment in each activity, very good curious facts about Antioch, I recommend it
Excellent service and impeccable attention, I had a lot of fun discovering the history of the places visited, simply incredible.
An unforgettable experience. Wonderful and diverse places, as well as important information about the places we visited throughout the tour. In addition, the typical food they provide is excellent. Totally recommended!
Very nice experience, accomplished people and good service, thank you for everything... We loved it... It has been phenomenal to get to know the stone
The visits were the best and the attention of the guide was the best TINA MARIA, each place we visited was full of stories
A complete tour, I loved every tour, pleasant weather, the experience, the. Food, what we learned and the quality of the people, they were too friendly
Gave us an appointment at 7:10 and never arrived. Called and they said there is traffic. A shuttle picked us up and sent us with another company. To avoid
Una experiencia muy buena. Excelente tour, Patricia fue la mejor guía. La comida, los lugares 20/10.
About three years ago we did the same tour with another company but decided to change it as the driver was going very fast. In the end it was not a good choice, as the only rescue was Andrea and the boat. For starters, the breakfast was not good at all, as the eggs had a strange color. The rest was regular and lunch was not bad; moreover, We received excellent service from the restaurant. The biggest problem, and why I write this review is because of the speed of the drivers, since this was worse than the previous one... He was outpacing other cars in the corners and was going very fast. I feel like it's something you need to talk to your drivers before a serious accident happens.
Excellent 10/10 Service. We were at a hotel in the Poblado area so we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. It was a full day tour started from 7am with pick up and we returned at approx. 7pm. We visited different sites, first a stop for breakfast in a town an hour from the city and then we visited tourist places for photos (like three stops before reaching the reservoir), then in the reservoir we climbed on a boat for 40 minutes. They took us to the Peñal piera, where you can voluntarily climb on the stone (with an additional cost $20,000COP approx 5USD per person). In this place we had lunch and then from here we were taken to another town where we saw of the culture and took more pictures. We were the guide Santiago Leon, and it was excellent, good mastery of all history, very responsible and pending to all that we were on tour. It was very economical, we paid per person $110,000 COP approx. 25USD, an excellent price for everything included.
The minibus arrived on time at our hotel. The guide was waiting for us in the lobby. We were able to spend enough time at each of the stops, take pictures, do some shopping, eat and enjoy the view. Between each destination, our guide Estefania gave us all the explanations and history. The scenery was spectacular!! This tour is really great value for money and I recommend it to anyone who wants to take a day trip to the Guatapé area.
The tour was fine overall breakfast and lunch. Patricia explains everything very well. And you meet new people by being in a group. Highly recommended.
