Highly recommend our tour guide Camilo look after us well and we had the best time

Pickup directly from hotel. 40 min drive from downtown. 30 min wait at hill for the wind conditions. 20 mins in the air. Drive back to hotel in 40 mins. Efficient, friendly, professional, safe and fun. You pay more for this tour but it is certainly worth it.

10/10. Highly recommend. Our guide was Joshua. He was very fun to talk to, and very respectful. He gave us information on Medellin during the drive to the paragliding location. I recommend sneakers for this activity because you have to climb up some stairs to get to where the takeoff spot is. Don't eat a heavy meal before because the drops in the air can give you a queasy feeling. The go pro footage is an extra cost.

From start to finish, this was such an incredible experience! I was picked up by Juan and his lovely daughter at my hotel. Once we got to the headquarters I met Juan's son Sebastian who took me up the mountain (bonus motorcycle ride! Hell yeah!) and it was no more than about 30 minutes before I was flying in the air. It's exciting/dangerous feeling enough to make your heart speed up but there is no reason to be concerned as it's obvious these guys know and love what they are doing. We flew through the clouds and so high up in the sky and right about the time the clouds broke you get an incredible view of the city. I feel like I'm just echoing what other reviewers have already said, but this is a must do if you are in Medellin! I loved that it was a family affair and felt well taken care through of the entire experience!

From hotel pickup to hotel drop off, this was one of the most organized and punctual experiences I’ve had regarding excursions/tours in Colombia. I was picked up, taken to Camila, then guided up the stairs where the paragliding takes place at the summit. Be warned, there are many steps so be prepared for about a moderate level stair-climbing (to put things in perspective, the rock at Guatape has much more steps). This is one exhilarating experience you will not regret and can’t afford to miss out on. Check it out!

Everything was super smooth, with a fast pickup (we booked really like 2h before the last possible flight) and an uncomplicated process from start to finish. The best experience – I would do it again anytime and can highly recommend it.

A must try! Fist, my driver Fabian was a pleasure work with. He was on time on picking me and we got to enjoy good conversation. Had a very good experience with the team on there! Very welcoming. Safety was well checked. The views were absolutely breathtaking! Hardest part is definitely lift off. The rest you get to sit back and enjoy. Landing was a breeze too.

The view are amazing! A must try once in a lifetime experience. The scariest part of the activity for me personally was the mini run you had to do. The guide made it easy to understand the procedure and answered any questions.

This was an amazing experience, thanks to my tour guide Camilo. With his ability to translate helped my trip go much smoother. Looking forward to next year

A once in a lifetime experience! It was me & my 2 teens. Pilots were experienced & took all safety precautions. We felt very safe. Driver picked us up from hotel & brought us back from tour. Plan 1 hour of travel each way. I highly recommend!

Paragliding was amazing, you get to see Medellin from an entirely different view! The flight can be casual or if you’re craving adrenaline you can have a wild ride! Either way it is great! My tour guide / Driver Camilo was excellent! Safe trip and he was an excellent resource on the culture and history of Medellin.

Got picked up from the Hotel as planned by Joshua my guide. Took 40 minutes to drive to the paragliding site. On the way Joshua told me about the city its layout and other bits I did not know. Which was kind of a tour in the tour. Once paragliding the experience was amazing could see Medellín in all its glory, flying with the birds! They are using the same thermals which push you up, so they are right along side you. I would truly recommend this to anyone. And with this company it was a door to door service so no worries about trying to find meeting points.

I wanted to do something fun I’ve never done before and paragliding was a great experience ! Cataman tours paragliding is worth it . You get transportation to and from your hotel and pictures and videos included.

Awesome experience. Staff was extremely down to earth and professional. They came and picked us up in an air conditioned vehicle and allowed us to select the type of music we wanted to listen to. They had all the necessary safety equipment and gave good instruction and was patient with beginners. We went up the mountain on the ATVs enjoying spectacular views along the way. They also took pictures and videos for us. An overall great experience.

This is a ridiculously beautiful experience. Honestly, it took my breath away many times. Also, this company was seriously professional—I had confidence in their competence throughout. Maybe not for those with vertigo or fear of heights, but otherwise, a peak experience (and this is coming from someone who is 61 with a lot of adventures and peak experiences in my life).

Camantours was awesome from beginning of when we were inquiring to book to the end of the tour. Great communication and always answered any of our questions that we had. They were very accommodating for our transportation needs. As for the paragliding, the experience was amazing. Everything went smoothly and our pictures and videos were included in our tour. I will definitely book with them again for other tours!

I was in Medellin for a retreat, but prior to the retreat I had a couple days to explore Medellin. I found the company, Camantours Medellin and saw they had some great options for a city tour and paragliding so I decided to give them a try. The experience exceeded all my expectations. I was connected on Whatsapp with Camilo who answers all my questions and got me connected with Joshua who was my private tour guide for the day. He took me up to the paragliding and then to the city tour right afterwards. The paragliding was simply amazing. I have previously been skydiving and ziplining, but I have to say this experience rivals those two other activities. Spending 20 or so minutes in the air to take in the views of Medellin is something I will never forget and I highly recommend every give it a try. My "pilot" was very professional and the Go-Pro pictures and videos were all included in the pricing. Great value overall. In terms of the city tour, Joshua was excellent. I was able to spend time at the key spots so it was a very effective use of time. The highlights he selected were perfect. The private tour is definitely the way to go in my mind. Camilo was fantastic! From start to finish he was super friendly and knowledgeable of the entire tour. It was very easy to have conversations with him in both English & Spanish. He made the whole tour seem effortless, and it was so much fun! At the top of the mountain you get the best views so get your camera ready! It was truly a breathtaking experience!

This experience was perfect!!! The view is unparalleled and team was fantastic. In addition to providing a great paragliding experience, the tour team adjusted my start time and worked with my tight turnaround schedule to make sure I made my flight immediately after paragliding. I highly recommend this experience! Also, consider yourself lucky if you get Luis as your guide/driver. He was very accommodating, communicative, patient, and an all-around help during my brief time in Medellin.

The best paragliding experience near Medellín I had the best time ever and thanks to Camilo & CamanTours for such great organization & experience

I booked this excursion for my last day in Medellin. I had other plans that I wanted to do, but I decided to do this and let Mr. Camilo know by 10 pm the night before. Mr. Joshua picked me up at my hotel and took me to the site by 10:30 am. Be aware that you have to walk up steep stairs to get to the area after paying. I did Guatape tour with Mr. Joshua the day before, and it was Guatape all over again. Haha It was cloudy, and we waited until it cleared up a bit. My pilot, Sebastian, was helpful. I was a little nervous at first, but once we were up it was amazing. They provide a go pro that records the trip. We went through the clouds and flown with the birds. Literally on cloud nine! Great views of Medellin. The videos and photos are then transferred to your phone. Mr. Joshua recorded me from the ground as well. I’m so glad to have booked all my excursions with this company and having the same guide throughout my trip.

5/5 stars. Best experience I had in Colombia. Camilo and Camila both made the whole experience amazing. Camilo is the most kind man and spent some time with me to teach me more Spanish. He was very patient with my poor Spanish. Additionally, CAMAN tours is a very honest business. I booked the paragliding trip through my hostel and the hostel made mistakes with the reservation. Camilo and CAMAN tours went well out of their way to ensure that my money wasn’t wasted. If you want to do paragliding or any other tourist attraction in Medellin, I cannot recommend CAMAN tours enough and I have been telling my friends who want to come to Medellin all about how great their company is. Best experience by far traveling.

We had a great time on this tour. Joshua drove us to the spot to paraglide and was very helpful in answering all of our questions and preparing us for the tour. The paragliding itself was an incredible experience and a great way to get the coolest views of Medellín you wouldn’t otherwise see! Would recommend to anyone visiting Medellín!

Great views of the city and mountains. A thrilling and smooth experience. Lots of pictures and videos available with the GoPro. My guide also took videos on his phone and sent to me.
