Luis is by far the best tour guide I ever had on a trip. I've used him multiple times during my visits to Colombia. He was very punctual in time. He gave us a lot of history behind everything we saw. Would highly recommend Luis to everyone.

Luis was our Pablo Escobar tour guide. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He safely guided us to the sights of Escobar’s points of interest. He had some great photos of Pablo’s life and times. We had a great walk in one of Pablo’s neighborhoods and Luis was always available for questions and great conversations and stories about Pablo’s life. If you are thinking about taking a tour, do not hesitate to ask for Luis. He is the best!

Mauricio is an exceptional tour guide. My family travels often, and Mauricio is one of the best tour guides we've ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, easy to speak with, and fully fluent in English. He also knows fun places to stop/eat/visit along the way. Mauricio knows a ton about the history of the Escobar family and the cartels. He clearly reads and studies the topic. He has great recommendations for shows, movies and books on the Escobar history. If you’re looking for the best guide on the cartels, definitely contact Luis and Mauricio. Also - Luis is great to work with. He is responsive, clear and fast. We were with Luis for 2 days. The pablo Escobar tour and Guatape tour. Both tour were perfect and we enjoy it very much. From the beginning , Luis response to my message very quick so everything went smooth before we met. Luis was flexible and always take care of us. So good to have him to be our guide. We had the immense pleasure of visiting Medellin, a coffee farm and Santa Fe de Antioquia with Luis for 2 days. He is very knowledgeable about Medellin and Colombia in general, he is a great story teller and has great english! We truly felt in safe hands with him, he made very good recommendations for shopping, itinerary and always stayed very positive professional. In december 2024 my wife and I had private tour of Pablo Escobar. Our guide Luis picked us up at the hotel and we went on our way. We visited the place where Pablo used to live. The house isn’t there anymore. Instead there are now monuments for most of Pablo’s victims. Very impresive! Our guide, Luis told us a lot about Pablo and his victims. I saw the tv serie’ Pablo Escobar,El patron del mal ‘ and I can say this, what Luis told us was even more than what i saw in the tv series. I got a better understanding on the Pablo Escobar and the Cartel of Medellin era.

Luis was amazing as a tour guide for this! Super informative, has lots of history on the area being he lived here during the height of the cartel wars. The tour shared the good, bad and ugly about Pablo Escobar, his cartel, the police, government and local citizens caught in the middle at the time. I saw mixed reviews about doing the tour in general, and now that I went, I say do it to learn the truth about events, not just glorifying the TV drug lord gang life image of Escobar. It Goes way deeper than that, remember every country had their good and bad sides, be respectful of the culture and people here. Please book him if you're interested in this tour. He was so great, we also booked him on the spot for the Comuna 13 tour for the next day. Thanks Luis! :-)

We were blessed to have Luis as our Tour guide for both the Pablo Escobar and guatape' Tours. These tours won’t disappoint! We spent 2 fantastic days with Luis. His ability to deliver the past and present history of Medellin and Guatape' made our trip well worth it. He's a TOP NOTCH tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about all things Colombia from all perspectives. He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. Luis was a knowledgeable and friendly guide who expertly showed me various Escobar-related sites. He speaks excellent English, although my tour was conducted in Spanish at my request. I would not want to navigate Medellin traffic on my own, and the tour was a worthwhile addition to my trip to Medellin.

Luis was originally my airport transport for a Fishing expedition. However, I had an extra day before flying back home, I hired Luis to take me around Medellin, the Pablo Escobar tour, and lastly to Communa 13. He’s a super knowledgeable guide that speaks fluent English. I’m so happy that I spent the afternoon with him exploring Medellin. His minivan was clean and had AC. Had a great time! We booked our Escobar tour with Luis and liked him so much that decided to book the Guatapé tour for the following day. I traveled with my sister. It was our first time, in a long time, traveling without our children. Needless to say, we wanted “calmer” type of tours. He was flexible and didn’t hesitate to make small adjustments to our tours. We fell in love with Medellín! Hopefully we can go back one day with our children and with Luis as our tour guide again!

What can we say, Luis was awesome. He was our private tour guide the whole time in Medellin. He would pick us up everyday and take us sight seeing. We went to Comuna 13, Coffee tour, Guatape, The famous Pablo Escobar tour and we got to meet Pablos brother. Luis became like family for us, he was very well informed of Medellin and gave us tips to stay safe. He even took us to just chill and walk the city one day. Highly recommended! Luis was my private tour guide for all three days that I was in Medellin and he definitely made it a great experience. He took me in an air conditioned van all around the city as well as Guatape the next day. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Colombia and the Medellin cartel. The highlight of the trip was when he took me to meet Pablo Escobar’s brother the next day. Luis is a rock star and his tours where the highlight of Medillin for me. Both of them were do different and informative. There’s no way to really dive into the culture on a deeper level. He’s super knowledgeable, down to earth, engaging, and the best tour guide. I’ll be back on his tours soon!
