Booked this tour, they day after Guatape. Asked for Joshua again. Did not regret it. He took me to C13 where I took in all the stories, the people and the views. We then went into the city centre where we walked from site to site. I learnt so much in this day. Really glad I booked these.

He told me the meaning of different art and symbols, which I really enjoyed. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable and safe the whole time. This tour was probably the most fascinating tour I've ever been on, and our guide Joshua has extensive knowledge to share, not to mention top notch hospitality. He even let me borrow his hat when it drizzled! Starting with Pablo Escobar's tomb and the rooftop where he died, we got an in depth look into the rise and fall of the drug cartel of Medellin. Then we got an incredible experience in comuna 13, learning about it's volatile history and how it was transformed into a cultural hub, full of street dancers, rappers, trovadores, and graffiti artists. Then we got to take a cable car and metro and learned more about the different social classes in the city and the impressive resourcefulness of their architecture. Then we went to the plaza de botero and had a delicious cafe and finished our time in the pueblito paisa. Truly this tour is an all comprehensive look into this beautiful city, and we are SO grateful we did it! I would highly recommend it!

Camilo was our guide for a tour which mixed the City and Escobar themes, although they are so interlinked. He has deep knowledge having lived here his whole life and experienced the pain of the time the city was ravaged by the drug wars and the recovery since. He is articulate and perceptive and very good company. The tour starts with the memorial the city has built on the site of Escobar’s old home and ends at Comuna 13 where there is such vibrancy and energy in a rebuilt area previously torn apart by violence. He is well informed, very helpful and thoughtful and I’d recommend him wholeheartedly.

Our family had a wonderful tour with Camilo. We knew nothing about Medellin going in, and finished the tour having a great understanding of the history, important places, and the overall vibe of the city. Camilo organized an agenda and communicated it well, but was flexible to allow us to spend time doing what we wanted and going where we were most interested. He was great communicating at different levels for the adults and the kids, and was attentive to our interest in finishing the best places for souvenir shopping and taking a break for a bite to eat. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Camilo, our guide, was fantastic. He is so knowledgable and thoughtful in how he explains everything. We also had three young kids with us, and he was so patient and kind to them, and they enjoyed the tour too. Not to mention he was our resident photographer too. My family and I took a tour in Medellin with BEST CITY TOUR GUIDE our tour guide was with CAMILO who was absolutely amazing. We did this tour with 2 adults and 3 kids and it was amazing. He was extremely patient as we have young children and didn’t want to walk at times. We got to see cumono 13 and the street art was amazing, we stopped for some cold popsicles to cool us off, had time to stroll through the neighborhood take the walking stairs, and then we followed that up with the cable cars and a train ride to downtown. He was so detailed and very knowledgeable about the city, the culture , history. I would definitely recommend this tour. Fun was had by all.

I finally got to know the Pueblito Paisa! Although I am Colombian, I must admit that I had not had the opportunity to be in this beautiful and representative place of the Medellin culture. From the top of Pueblito paisa, you can see the city widely, delight yourself with typical houses and their diversity of flowers and buy souvenirs. The tour of commune 13 and the adrenaline that causes riding in the metrocable, made this tour an unforgettable experience! Not to mention the professionalism, good vibes and knowledge of the guide. We have recently experienced the Pablo Escobar and District 13 tour. It was probably one of the best tours I have ever been to. We were taken to great locations and were provided with the relevant stories for each location. Our tour guide, Eddie, was fluent in English and extremely friendly.
