It was a very fun and creative experience for me and my son
As a native English speaker I liked that some labels had the English translation. Some areas did not have this so I was lost.
Was good..........great experience
Highly recommend Parque Explora in Medellín! We visited Parque Explora with our family and had an absolutely wonderful time. The interactive exhibits are fantastic for all ages — my kids loved the aquarium, the planetarium, and the hands-on science stations. Everything is modern, clean, and well-organized. We easily spent several hours exploring and learning while having fun. It’s a perfect mix of education and entertainment. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Medellín. Highly recommended for families!
I loved it! The value for the money is more than reasonable, as you can easily spend an entire day exploring all the exhibits. I visited on a weekend with my husband and we enjoyed it immensely; we are both very curious and intellectually active. There are experiences of all kinds: interactive screens, games, challenges, and crafts. We also learned about protected species of fish, reptiles, and amphibians, their status in the wild, and the dangers of wildlife trafficking. We especially loved the 'Mente' (Mind) room, which focuses on neuroscience and daily life. A must-do: the 'reaction time' experience to test your reflexes—it's a lot of fun! Regarding facilities, there is a food court with a great variety of options. They also offer locker services for luggage, wheelchairs, and elevators for those with reduced mobility. Some exhibits are in Colombian Sign Language, and everything is bilingual (Spanish and English). Highly recommended!
We loved it, it is spectacular for sharing with the family and it is not only an experience for children but also for adults to remember what nature, music, chemistry, and even physics surround us with.
It is a very nice and educational experience to spend with the family and learn; it is fun and time flies by.
I love it, I enjoyed it with my daughter. She repeated the children's games!! And the subsidized agreement is wonderful, thank you!!
Nice experience to share and enjoy with the family! Medellín is the best! Helpful people, magical places, delicious gastronomy, enviable weather.
Excellent service, the place, the knowledge, and the technology it has, its staff is quite helpful, the food and hydration were also 10/10
A special place. Science and culture are experienced here. It is very well presented. Adults and children learn and have fun. The day just flies by with all the activities to do. The guides are very willing to explain everything. A good educational plan.
Very nice park, its themed rooms are very fun, but it is better to buy your ticket at the box office and the children enjoy it more.
The place and the atmosphere are really veeeery interesting and cool, and together with the guys from explora they made us feel more than welcome, I thank each one of them who played with us and explained everything to us in detail, including Luisa F. Ferraro, who explained and guided my experience at explora. I thank all the guys there
Very good; however, I suggest that you continue to implement more academic-scientific attractions. The young lady, LUISA FERRARO, who guided me was very kind and very cultured; she resolved my concerns and curiosities.
Parque Explora is a fascinating science museum where you learn in an interactive and entertaining way. One of its main attractions is the room dedicated to dinosaurs, where you can learn what their habitat was like, discover the most representative species, and understand the theories about their extinction. In addition, the museum has various themed rooms that invite you to explore and experiment. In music, you can travel through soundscapes that show the richness of Colombia's rhythms, accompanied by captivating settings. And in everything sounds, you will have the opportunity to create your own music using everyday instruments and objects, discovering how they have accompanied the evolution of music throughout history. It is an ideal place to visit with family or friends, where learning and fun go hand in hand.
Living the experience of communication through gestures to reach a goal, an electronic circus, playing at describing and identifying described portraits. The Mind room at Parque Explora is incredible.
If you are passing through Medellín or live here and still haven't visited Parque Explora, you are missing out on one of the best interactive science centers in Latin America. Although the whole park is wonderful, there are two sections that completely steal the spotlight if you are looking to learn in a fun way: the dinosaur exhibit and the fantastic interactive music room. Fossil models: A trip to the past The first thing that grabs you when entering the prehistoric zone is the incredible level of detail of the replicas and scale fossil models. It is not simply about observing static display cases; the setup is designed so that you can grasp the real size, bone structure, and majesty of these creatures. Seeing the reconstructed skeletons helps to understand visually how the anatomy of the dinosaurs worked. In addition, the visual transition between the fossil and the representations of how they looked in life is spectacular. It is an immersive experience that awakens genuine wonder regardless of age. Evolution explained masterfully What really elevates this section is the educational component focused on evolution. The tour is structured as a dynamic timeline that explains in detail how life on our planet was transformed. Through very well-written information panels and educational screens, they tell you the story of adaptation, natural selection, and the great mass extinctions. The park manages to translate dense concepts of paleontology into a language that anyone can understand perfectly, always maintaining scientific rigor. A sound journey in the music room The other big surprise of the tour is the interactive music room. It is a spectacular space designed to experience art through the science of sound. Here the rule is to interact: you can immerse yourself in unique sound experiences where you listen to, learn about, and manipulate different types of acoustic waves. It is extremely entertaining because it allows you to experiment firsthand with the physics behind tones, rhythms, and melodies. Discovering how different musical instruments interact and playing with vibrations makes you delve into the subject in a playful and very different way. Practical recommendations for your visit Go with time: Do not go in a rush. Touring these rooms calmly, reading the explanations, and participating in the experiments can take you several hours. Take advantage of the discounts: If you are affiliated with the Comfama compensation fund, the admission rates have very significant discounts, which makes the value for money unbeatable. Avoid crowds: If you prefer a less crowded environment to interact with the devices and examine the fossils in silence, I suggest scheduling your visit for a weekday morning. In summary, the combination of the dinosaur exhibit and the interactive music room offers a top-tier educational experience. It is a mandatory stop in Medellín that invites you to marvel at the mysteries of evolution and the physics of sound. Highly recommended!
Visiting Parque Explora in Medellín was an experience that combined science, culture, and a bit of prehistoric excitement. What struck me most was stopping in front of the display case of indigenous musical instruments: seeing the panpipes, the maracas made of dried seeds, a small drum with a leather head tied with crossed ropes, and some ocarinas carved in wood lined up made me understand the sonic richness of the original Colombian cultures in a different way. Right next to it, in the Indigenous Music room, there is an interactive screen with headphones where one can listen to real recordings of these instruments being played, while a panel explains how each town uses its music as a ritual to heal or to mark its territory. It was a moment of pause, almost contemplative, inside a museum that is normally so dynamic. In the outdoor area where the life-size dinosaur exhibit is, the feeling changed completely. I came face-to-face with a Tyrannosaurus Rex with its mouth open showing its sharp teeth, in an aggressive posture on a metal base, with the Aburrá Valley and the green mountains of Medellín as a backdrop. A little further on, I found a dinosaur skull sculpted in stone, with a rough texture and a jaw full of triangular teeth, placed in the open air as if it were a freshly excavated fossil. What impressed me most was the complete skeleton of a T-Rex mounted on a metal structure, with the city of Medellín and its buildings in the background, giving the feeling of seeing a real fossil displayed on the park's terrace. The mix of indigenous cultural heritage and paleontology in the same tour makes the visit feel complete, both for those looking to learn about Colombian roots and for those who want to relive the fascination with dinosaurs.
Parque Explora is an interactive science and technology museum in Medellín that inspires curiosity, learning, and the social appropriation of knowledge through playful experiences, workshops, and innovative exhibits.
Parque Explora has always been one of my favorites, but on this occasion, I loved the Planetarium for its renovation. The aquarium is undoubtedly beautiful. I openly recommend these spaces to all the people close to me that I have the pleasure of speaking to about this beautiful place; I love Parque Explora and its experiences (I also love the karaoke in the music room and the mind room). I usually always go in the company of my family and friends, which is why I have many memories with everyone. It is a very clean space in terms of tidiness.
Parque Explora is wonderful, its facilities are very clean, and the employees are extremely kind and attentive in helping and guiding visitors. I love Parque Explora.
My experience visiting Parque Explora was very enriching. It allowed me to learn in a practical and interactive way, to know more about science and technology, and to value the importance of these spaces for learning and curiosity. It was an interesting and very well-organized activity.
Parque Explora is a wonderful place that I have had the opportunity to visit on several occasions with my family and friends. On our last visit, my 4-year-old son fully enjoyed each of the spaces. He marveled at touring the aquarium and the vivarium, where he met the little axolotls, participated with enthusiasm in an activity in the children's room, and explored the other rooms. His favorites were the Music Room and the Open Room, where the mediators, with their great charisma and dedication, showed him every corner and sparked his curiosity even more. It was an enriching experience that allowed us to learn, share, and enjoy together.
Highly recommended. The visit to Parque Explora helped me think differently about the life of our country, both human and non-human. The aquarium and the vivarium, which are very precious spaces, allow one to see fauna that I probably will not find outside (and much less in my daily life) and permanently reinforce the idea of protecting all forms of life and the importance of having sanctuary places that carefully receive animals that have been victims of trafficking. It is very magical to find these places where beauty meets deep contradictions and important learnings. The music room is also surprising. The experience of the choral voices moved me a lot, and I would have liked to stay there much longer. The karaoke is a success, and the musical landscapes do something similar to what happened to me in the aquarium and the vivarium: they took me on a journey and showed me practices and experiences very distant from what I will probably find in my day-to-day life.
Explora is always the place where one returns with those who are getting to know the city, or otherwise, I have come several times with my 5 and 12-year-old nephews. During vacation time they always like to return and they always enjoy it a lot, especially the balance tunnel in the Mind Room, the pirarucus in the Aquarium, or the dinosaurs, of which they are super fans. This is an incredible place, but you have to set aside the whole day; there is a lot to see and enjoy.
In the Mind Room you will find a fascinating sound game that challenges your memory and tests your ability to concentrate and retain information in a fun and interactive way.
The best place to share with family, it is a place to be filled with wonder, curiosities, and fun facts. Highly recommended to come with friends or with family and children.
Visiting Parque Explora was a wonderful experience for our family. We went with our baby Simón and we loved discovering that it is a place where both children and adults can learn, be surprised, and enjoy themselves together. One of the spaces that impressed us the most was the room where you can observe a huge representation of the Sun. Listening to the explanation while we admired its size and details made the experience truly fascinating. We also had fun touring the different interactive rooms, where each activity invites you to experiment and learn in a very entertaining way. Simón enjoyed observing the colors, the lights, and the different environments of the museum. We even took the opportunity to take a beautiful photograph at the dinosaur exhibit, a very special memory of our visit. We really liked that the tour is designed for all ages and that the staff was always willing to guide and answer questions with kindness. We left with the feeling of having experienced a different day, full of learning, curiosity, and unforgettable moments as a family. Without a doubt, Parque Explora is a place that I would recommend to anyone visiting Medellín or who wants to spend a special day with their children. We hope to return to continue discovering everything this incredible space has to offer.
A unique experience in museums, the place where the mediators are knowledgeable about each of the interactions and relate them to your daily life, science, and from the most beautiful to the simplest 💛
It is a wonderful place where, besides enjoying yourself, you learn and raise awareness of how our behavior affects the rest of the planet.
The aquarium is quite beautiful and houses very lovely life. Thanks to the guides, I learned more about the little animals that were there, the music room, the theater, and the land animals, which were super beautiful.
Explorer Gabriela González is an excellent mediator She provides clear explanations and has a lot of knowledge
It was very unpleasant at the music stations; there is no set time and no control, so people take all the time in the world to stay inside, which affects others.
Excellent, super cool, very cheap for the quality.
This museum is wonderful! We love it because our child can enjoy everything he likes, especially the music area.
Excellent place, your mind and senses soar.
It was an amazing experience, what I enjoyed the most was the aquarium and living room mind!
Excellent, lots of science and knowledge. There are people who are waiting to explain.
I loved it is an amazing place to disconnect, learn and be surprised. It feels good energy, my children love to visit the park is a perfect plan.
Excellent park, if you are going to travel to Medellin you have to visit the park explore
Excellent spaces to learn and enjoy as a family, safely and quietly,
I am always surprised at this place, it is very fun for all ages and friendly to go with my baby, it has a lovely nursing room, comfortable well equipped
Excellent place, very fun, educational and interactive. I recommend it in closed eyes
What a note of experience the Park Explores! You learn, recognize and enjoy the everyday but also the extraordinary.
It was very good customer service from the entrance, the locker people, in addition to the mediators explain very well in each of the spaces, highly recommended
It's a great experience, I go with my baby very often
I had an amazing experience visiting Parque Explora with my family. It’s a place where learning and fun blend perfectly. Each room has something surprising, interactive and designed for all ages. What we liked the most was being able to explore together, discover new things and see how we all — children and adults — marveled equally. In addition, the atmosphere is very organized, safe and welcoming. Fully recommended!
It is an amazing place, full of experiences designed for all kinds of people. From the little ones to the adults, every corner offers something special.
