Oscar was a delightful, highly knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. You can experience and learn so much from him. Thank you for making the visit to Medellin so memorable.
Wife and I did a private tour, our guide was Julio. Julio was a fantastic guide. He took time at each stop to be thorough and explain the significance of each site. His passion for his city and its history are definitely felt. The tour never felt rushed. We spent as much time, or as little time, at each stop. You are in control of the tour. If we wanted to look at some shops, grab a beer, or a bite to eat in Comuna 13 we could with no issue. I would 100% recommend.
Extraordinary, unique and very sad. The only way you can't repeat a bad history is knowing the bad history of the past so you don't commit the same errors. It was an intense and hearthbreaking tour. Our guide Julio talk to us with respect and solemnity of the fallen victims, the atrocities and the one of the darkest times of Medellin history. It's a very inmerssive kind of tour that takes you to the reality of those times. The scare poblation, the sound of the firing guns, the expansive power of the bombs. This wasn't fun, but was the reality of a period of time. I identified with the people that were affected by those issues. But I felt the disposition of an entire city that from the scratch of the mud, they stood and became one of the best modern cities in the world. We visited so many places that in the past were violent places and know are examples of how the people can stand up and build a new reality, a new world. That's called resilience. And I admire this people from the city, comunas, and every place I walked because they look happy and very attentive. After all the things I've heard and saw, I can tell you without doubt that Medellín is one of the safest places in earth. And I very proud of them. It's my 2nd trip to Medellin, but I know there be a lot more...
Oscar was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommended!
Our Pablo Escobar and Guatape day tour with Julio was amazing, we had such a great day! We learnt so much. Julio has so much knowledge and he was so great to spend our day with. We had so much fun with him and we are grateful for the time he took to show us both tours despite the traffic issues. He was so patient and kind. We really appreciate the personalised tour and want to thank you for showing us a good time ☺️
We learned so much from our wonderful tour guide, Henry. Whatever you need — from questions to recommendations — he’s always there to help with kindness and great advice. We’re beyond grateful for the chance to meet him and learn about the city’s culture and transformation. Henry was so patient, never rushed us, and made sure we had an amazing day from start to finish. Thank you, Henry — you’re pure gold! ✨ Love, Sanja & Marlene
The Pablo Escobar tour was amazing and such a highlight of my time in Medellín. Our guide Henry was fantastic—super friendly, easy to talk to, and full of great stories that made the history come alive. I really liked how he connected the past to the Medellín of today, which gave a much deeper understanding of the city. Learned so much, had a great time, and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Such an amazing tour. Oscar is so knowledgeable and knows the Pablo Escobar story inside and out. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Medellin.

Julio took me around Medellín to a bunch of different areas of high importance and Pablo‘s Escobar’s he was so knowledgeable and made my experience one of the best tours I’ve done in Colombia.
We planned this tour at the last minute after loving our tour with Henry the previous day. Oscar and Joshua helped us see so much more of Medellin and was really enjoyable to talk with.
This tour was definitely what I expected and more! Oscar definitely showed me a beautiful experience around Comuña 13 and the History of Pablo Escobar. Oscar was definitely knowledgeable and made sure we were safe. Their was many highlights like the beautiful Graffiti, the cable cars and I also tried Coffee with Lemonade for the first time! I HIGHLY recommend Oscar as your tour guide if you ever visit Medellin! He also has great vibes! Thank you so much Oscar!
It was an unusual day, Oskar took us to the world of Columbia drags Cartels and the way they became so strong. The tour to dis13 was also interesting and open our minds to the way people behave like in civil war. The past and present times are involved by memories and Meaningful graffiti
We had a privet tour in Medellin with an excellent guide name Oscar. He has very good English, a lot of knowledge. Beside we was very interesting and adjust the tour to our curiosity. The price was faire and we are very satisfied.
Oscar was very good in communicating everything in English. He took care of everything from beginning till end and he infact picked me and dropped Me at my hotel. He know all about good and dark history of Medellin and Colombia. I Would highly recommend Oscar who is specifically looking for English speaking guide. Service is top notch and worth every penny.
I spent 4 full days with Oscar, nice guy, friendly, cool, punctual, easy going and we became friend. I did several tours with him including the one regarding the story of Pablo, I did not come to Medellin because of Pablo but I said, now I'm here and I want to know what happens, Oscar explain me everything, he knows a lot about this story even if he did not live during this period, he read lots of books from different point of views, family of Pablo, friends of Pablo, people from Colombia he also knows lot of people who lived during this period, so he will share what he knows from this period and he knows a lot, he even had for me a meeting with Pablo's brother, Roberto, it was a short but really nice interview. It's a great tour which has to be done if you are in Medellin. It's now part of the story of Medellin. Go fo it you won't be disappointed.
Oscar picked us up at a flexible time in the afternoon at a location decided on the day, his knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the tour was second to none as he talked us through the rise and fall of the Medellin cartel and Pablo Escobar himself. We visited key sites including the house Pablo was hiding in before his death, the rooftop where he was killed, his grave, the prison he built for himself and his old family home. Other tours offer the same itinerary and are nearly 4 times the price!! I would highly recommend this tour and Oscar himself! A++++ :) :) :). Thanks! Ant, Manchester.
My best investment in Medellín. Excellent tour, driving, treatment, lots of content provided by the guide. Lots of comfort, convenience and assistance from the guide. Rating 10. If I go back, I will definitely count them again.
Excellent tour! Oscar’s guided tour of the different moments of P Escobar’s life allows us to understand the history of Medellin and its commune. Thank you very much Oscar for your kindness throughout the tour! Unmissable!
