David was the best guide--funny, smart, helpful. There was not a question he couldn't answer. Interesting history of Pablo Escobar--we saw both sides of how Paisas view him...Barrio Pablo Escobar, memorial to Escobar's victims. Comuna 13 was super interesting, especially since it had grown from a dangerous area to a thriving, lively place.

It was a great prived tour with Andreas. We learned a lot and it was beyond our expectations. He showed us more then we had in mind of Medellin. Andreas was very helpfull, patient, openharted and kind. At the end of the tour, we were like family with him. We wish him all the best and more.

Excellent tour and guide. Very laid back and informative tour. Our favorite day of our vacation. 5 star reviews from everyone and deservedly so. Highly recommended
The tour was really good. Daniel was very informative and passionate about the history of Medellin. He even took me to some other places that was not actually probably part of the tour, but wanted to show me the real slums. They actually took me on the wrong tour and at first I thought I booked the wrong tour, but I reached out to them afterwards and they managed to fit in the Pablo Escobar part of the tour on a future day. A++ for customer service!
Highly recommended this tour! Daniel the guide was extremely knowledgeable about Pablo Escobar’s life and how he changed the history of Columbia!
Daniel is an incredible guide! His depth of knowledge is astounding and his presentation style is very engaging. We learned so much about Escobar and his lasting impact on the people of Colombia.
David was an amazing guide! We went with another couple and it ended up being a private tour for our group. He customized it especially for us and got us back to the hotel exactly the time that we needed to be to get ready for a wedding we were in town for. We learned all about PE and saw Communa 13 and learned all about beautiful Medellín. It was the perfect tour for us and would definitely look for David on our next trip to Medellín!
Daniel was such a good guide, such a good story teller!!! Totally recommend it 🙌🏽 he has so much knowledge on medellin’s history from before Pablo Escobar times to the ending of the guerrilla battle on the comuna 13!!! This man has so much enthusiasm!
I did this tour in April 2025 with my sister and it was an excellent experience. Daniel was a great guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about the topic. We learned so much about the history of Columbia and Medellin. Daniel was such a wealth of knowledge. We really enjoyed his honesty throughout the tour. He was very talkative, easy to converse with, and had an answer for all of our questions. He took us to several important spots through the city to share stories and history with us. Lastly we went to visit communa 13 which was really cool. It was nice to have a guide with us while we visited the area to show us around and discuss how it evolved to become what it is now. We would definitely recommend Daniel and this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about history here in Columbia.
This tour was the most entertaining tour we've ever had. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we got to understand the most about culture, history and Colombian life. Definitely recommend it!
I thought this tour was great. My tour guide was great because he was really enthusiastic about all the information on Pablo Escobar. We stopped a few times for food and drinks. We really went into a lot of places of Medellin I would not have gone just by myself. I recommend for a thrilling day of the history of Pablo Escobar.
Daniel was a fantastic so good and so knowledgable. Had a great time and it was much more than just Pablo Escobar, learnt so much about the country, politics and everything in between. Thanks Daniel!
Daniel our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the tour. We had a fantastic experience. Especially in Cumo-13 we couldn’t have seen this place without him.
Was awesome. Reynaldo was an incredible guide with lots of knowledge and plenty of patience for all my questions. Had a great time and highly recommend
The tour was a lot of driving from location to location and less walking around than we anticipated, but Daniel was absolutely amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and excited to share all of his anecdotal stories. Daniels clear passion for the subject and hearing it from a local made a day full of information fun and easy to understand.
First with the positive, the tour was well organised. I accidentally booked the wrong date so I called the number and spoke to a nice guy who without any fuss changed the date for me. On getting to the meeting point the tour guide messaged me in case I couldn’t find it. However, the reason I booked this tour specifically is because I wanted to see La Cathedral, and when I asked the tour guide he told me we’re not going there because it’s closed. I really felt this should have been communicated before we booked the tour because on the “what to expect” description it is included. Other than that the tour just included Escobar’s grave and Comuna 13. There’s other Communa 13 tours which are much better, more thorough and led by people who grew up there. I was quite disappointed.
This is a great company to hire if you would like to learn about the history of Medellin and Columbia in general. My guide Daniel was incredible and very easy to have conversations with. I felt safe, entertained, and I wish the tour was longer. Great job guys!!
This is a really cool, visually & historically interesting tour; after 2 days of physically grueling tours, this one was more easygoing but no less captivating. We made several stops to the advertised points of interest & our guide was very informative.
Our experience was incredible. Our guide, David, was very knowledgeable and such a friendly and fun. We loved it. Highly recommend.
The whole experience. The guide, Fabio, was great....super knowledgeable about the subject and just a great guide.
Luis was a fantastic guide! He shared information with us the entire way, constantly checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and made sure we saw everything we wanted to. We visited La Catedral, Escobar’s grave, and Comuna 13. At each stop Luis made sure we got the pictures we wanted and we never felt rushed. He also speaks excellent English and translated for us when needed. Highly recommend!!!
Amazing tour. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see Medellín and the history of the area. Wear comfortable shoes
Luis was an amazing tour guide! Very attentive, friendly, and informative! This was such a great tour to start our experience in the beautiful city of Medellin!
Luis treated me like family and he took great care of me throughout the tour. He is very cordial and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him a as a guide. The tour itself was fantastic, the catedral visit was the highlight of my trip.
Our guide Fabio was very knowledgeable, engaging & accommodating; this tour packs a lot of activities. I didn’t like how everyone is trying to make a buck / hawk their goods off association with Escobar / or his image, but other than that, very educational & impressive.
Top tour with Dave. Thanks mate, you tailored the tour and information well, and made the experience 🙏🏼🇪🇨
Amazing day! Our terrific bilingual guide, Albert Gomez, took us all through the incredible artistically-done graffiti-ed barrio in Comuna 13, explaining about the history, the artists, and introducing us to a tipico tinto coffee and micheladas, a delicious cerveza & tropical fruit cocktail . The C13 is not to be missed! An entire community piled up a steep mountain with electric escalators alongside the winding steps-just incredible! We then learned about the Medellin cartel drug lord Pablo Escobar, visiting the village he grew up in, the bombed out home he lived in (which is now a somber memorial to all of those he killed), and then onto the secluded cathedral in the mountains where he was imprisoned, yet able to see the entire happenings of his city, still maintaining control. We lastly visited his gravesite where many other cartel members have also been buried. We learned so much! It was a lot of driving but we saw from one end of Medellin to the other. Later we enjoyed a tipico Colombian meal in a restaurant he’d suggested.
David, our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable about Medellín, Comuna 13 and Pablo Escobar. The places that were significant to Pablo Escobar's life were all scattered out, so I would definite ask what's most interesting to see and then spend more time in Comuna 13, which was amazing. We were supposed to meet at the Lleras park, but David was really nice to offer to pick us up at our hotel! We had chosen a small group tour, so it was very personable and catered to our interests. Thank you, David, for showing us the beauty of Medellin.
Luis is an amazing tour guide. He communicated really well in english and gave us thorough information about the city and the area. We had a request to finish the tour faster as we had to get to the airport for the return flight. He obliged and was very courteous. Highly recommend the tour.
Luis Reyes is amazing, his English is perfect, his dad was a police officer in Medellín and lived near comuna 13 so he has a lot of knowledge and gives the positives and negatives. Felt very safe all the time
This tour was so fun and informative. Alberto was very friendly and he showed us around and explained everything as we were going. I would definitely recommend this trip.
We had an amazing day learning about Colombia and Pablo Escobar with Fabio. Fabio spoke great English and had a wonderful personality. He let us spend as much time as we wanted at each area and gave us lots of information. He also explained the current situations as well. It was nice having a 2 on one experience instead of a huge group.
Great tour with Victor who was very knowledgable and also a great laugh . Would highly recommend this tour.
I got the tour with FABIO and he was an incredible tour guide. He had lots of energy, clearly loved what he did, provided tons of information, and best of all was a great and friendly person to be around. If you are looking to learn more about Medellin with great and positive energy, take this tour and make sure to book with FABIO!
It was an amazing experience going in a small group if we had any questions our tour guide victor was very eager to answer and tell us all about the history. If you go on this tour see if victor can be your guide 11/10 recommend.
To start with,We Had A Private Tour😃😃😃Davy picked us up and made sure our half day tour was chock full of sites, history, neighborhoods, personal stories and insites into the work and thinking that has gone in to the building of Comita 13 and post Escobar. Daley was the Best and it was easy to see how learned and passionate about his Country he was. His sincere and friendly manner made this a Wonderful Tour. Kudos to him , love to have him as a Guide on our next trip
Juan was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and patient. His communication was excellent. We had an amazing experience
I found this tour dry and very overpriced for what you get. The guide Daniel was nice but not very informative, we crossed paths with other tours at the various stops and found their guides to be much more enthusiastic and detailed. For example at the grave site, we overheard another guide telling a large group stories about how the Escobar family recently flew down on the anniversary of the killing, who each of them were, where they live now, etc. In comparison, our experience was more of a "here is the tomb, do you have any questions?". When we reached Comuna 13, it was packed busy, and instead of leading the way and engaging us our guide was dragging along behind us while texting on his phone. I recommend you to skip the Escobar tour altogether (you could easily visit the grave or roof where he was killed on your own) and do a Comuna 13 tour with a local instead.
Daniel was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable on the history of Medellín and all the locations we visited. He was very polite and easy to talk to throughout the day- a pleasure to be with and an amazing tour!
Fabio was an amazing guide. The escobar tour was great as well as the comuna 13 tour. This tour was fabulous. Fabio is the best!!
Fantastic tour! Fabio is the best…gave a great tour and was very informative. Highly recommend this tour…Fabio won’t let you down!
AMAZING tour!! Fabio was the best tour guide we have ever had. He is so incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic. We all had a great time together. I recommend this tour with Fabio to anyone & everyone! 10/10
I had a great time with David as my tour guide! He was a very detailed guide and was super funny as well. Great way to end my visit to Colombia 🇨🇴
David was awesome! Showed us the major spots and then took us around the neighborhoods. Comuna 13 too! Definitely recommend his tour.
Luis Reyes was a wonderful good english speaking guide. The history to Pablo Escobar was very interesting
Davis was an amazing tour guide! I truly believe he went above and beyond to make sure we experienced the musts of the tour and had a great time! Because it was just 3 of us, the tour was very intimate and personable!
The trip with Davis was amazing. He was very knowledgeable on all the locations he took us to. It was so much fun!!! 100% Recommend!
Esteban is known as The Teacher within his community and after a day with him - it is obvious how much he loves to share his knowledge with others!
The Memorial and the Comuna 13. The people were very friendly. It was very secure for us. The guide was very funny.
