Pablo Escobar +Comuna13 Tour

Horrible, we did not do the tour. 9 of us booked and they did not show up or reach out. They said they thought it was a scam but we booked through viator and they didn't even email or send messages to confirm. This may be a scam

We did the combined Pablo Escobar and comune 13 tour. We didn’t really know much on the subject and never watched any of the shows that have been published. Diego told a lot of (personal) stories about the history and it was super interesting! He is a great and very interesting guy who has been through things that most of us can’t even imagine. It certainly is an experience that gets you thinking and will stay with you for some time.

If you get Diego as your guide, consider yourself lottery lucky. At first I was scared to go to Columbia, as I have heard how dangerous it can be here, however thanks to Diego I had no worries. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the history of Medellin, but he is also street smart. He had an unique way of always being with the group, helping with whatever we needed, but also giving us enough space for it to feel as if we were on our own. On the 2nd day I dropped my phone in the Hot tub and it was completely broken. I still had a week left here and was in panic mode. The minute I told Diego he reach it to his connects and in less than 2 hours I had a backup phone that he let me borrow for the remainder of my trip. Seriously would not have had even close to as good of a time if it wasn’t for Diego.

Diego is amazing. We had such a great day exploring Medellin and the Comuna 13. Diego shares his personal experiences, which really enhanced our understanding. This tour lived up to my expectations and beyond. If you’re looking to do an Escobar tour then this is THE tour to take. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the what tours I’ve done in South America if not the best. We done the Pablo Escobar tour + Communa 13. Got to learn the real history of Escobar and Colombia that you won’t get on tv or online. Couldn’t recommend the tour enough, Diego was absolutely amazing, his information was incredible!

We took the tour with Sat Tours - Diego (the guide) was waiting for us right on time outside the hotel, greeting us with a smile and full of explanations! Diego used to work in the Escobar cartel, he knows the inside stories and presents things in a fascinating and different way, exposing details that not many people know. We spent a whole day with him and enjoyed every moment! It was fascinating and interesting, and also at the end when going to Comuna 13 (a colorful and nice neighborhood of pavilions) he accompanied us and explained everything! In short - highly recommended!

Took a tour with Diego for Comuna 13 and the history of Pablo Escobar. I've to say it was one of the most interesting tours I've ever taken in my life. Diego told us the story of Escobar, from his point of view as an ex-member in the Medellin Cartel. Full of tension, suspense and great places combined as we went along. Afterwards we continued to Comuna 13 which was also super nice, there he also shared with us the history of the place. So colorful! Last week, a couple of friends and I decided to do this tour because we were interested in the history of Medellin in regards to Pablo Escobar. Of course we had all seen Narcos and we wanted to find out more, in addition to fact-checking the series. Diego picked us up and showed us the key locations of the past. He knew a lot of information which is not available online, this made it even more interesting and novel. Diego basically tells one big story throughout the day which also makes you think and teaches you about how certain life choices can affect you enormously. Afterwards we visited Comuna 13 which is like a city within a city. The views are fantastic and there are people on every corner of the street performing some miraculous act. Oh, and you get unlimited empanadas! I would recommend this to anyone!

I really liked this tour which made me see another vision of the history of Pablo Escobar as well as the discovery of the fascinating district of Columba 13. If you come to Medellin I recommend this activity!

The highlight of my trip without a doubt was a tour with Diego. He is super fun, interesting, knowledgable and the most importantly he is a former member of a cartel back in the 90s, so you will get a lot of inside stories which for me were mind-blowing. 6 hours flew so fast, I felt like in the movie as Diego is an incredible storyteller. If you decide to do Pablo Escobar tour, do it only with Diego! Then we went to Comuna 13 which has a brutal history, but now it's a piece of art with a lot of graffiti, street dancers and an amazing view of Medellin. We felt very safe and comfortable with Diego. It's absolutely 10+++ experience. Highly Highly recommend!!!!

Me and my friend went on a tour with Diego and it was amazing! It's a little bit more expensive then other Pablo & Commune 13 tours, but it's totally worth it. Hearing stories from someone that was in the inside of the kartel back in the days, to learn about the history of the country/Medellin and to see with your own eyes how they try to improve their city's and lives is something I can recommend everyone to do. Besides that Diego is an amazing storyteller and that makes the tour for me one of the best tours I ever went on. Thanks Diego for everything you did that day. We had a blast!

Amazing Tour! It was private, up close and personal. I learned so much. Our guide was the best! We went to a few different places. We were greeted by everyone. We learned things you don't learn from the TV shows.
