Jan 24, 2026, 11:40:12 AM It was really great, we had a very good time. Our guide was kind, very passionate, and knew exactly what to share with us. It was very interesting!
Maybe we would have enjoyed a little more time in Comuna 13, not only on the main road. We felt that it wasn’t really necessary to have a guide just to walk along the main road for about 10 minutes.
But that’s just a small detail, and we still really enjoyed the experience overall!

He also brough photos - of people, places and buildings, which gave context to where we were and the story. This was a fascinating tour, and I would strongly recommend any history buffs or anyone interested in the city of Medellín and Pablo Escobar to take this tour with Camilo.

Camilo is very knowledgeable about all of the local history about Pablo, his mansions and the surrounding areas. He was able to give the in depth history given that he is a lifelong native of medellin. I found myself continuously impressed by the level of detail he was able to provide. He was very prompt and informative. He was also very helpful w giving information I needed for the city. He also can arrange a nurse to come to your hotel for the covid test before your flight. And provides good transfer to airport. Highly recommend as a guide.

From the history to the escape route to facts I didn't realize about Pablo and the Medellin Cartel, he covered it all. He speaks perfect english and spanish, comfortable vehicle for driving around the city, and is always flexible if you're tired of walking or just want a beer :) Thanks again and I will definitely be telling my friends that visit Medellin about Comilo!
