We had a half day to spend and decided to book this tour and it was a great time! Learned so much history and Andres was a great guide and super nice! We made several stops and was able to walk around and learn about each stop. Highly recommend this if you’re interested in learning about the past of Medellin and also stopping at comuna 13.

The tour was informative, the sites were beautiful and my friends and I got some great photos. The tour guide Jamie was excellent and knew his facts!
We had a great experience with Carlos taking us through Medellin on this tour. Carlos is extremely knowledgeable and really made the experience unforgettable. Would definitely recommend!
We had an amazing private tour with Jaime exploring Comuna 13 and learning about the history surrounding Pablo Escobar. Jaime was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and made the entire experience both educational and fun. He shared so much history and local insight in a way that kept us engaged the whole time. Comuna 13 was such a highlight — vibrant, inspiring, and full of culture. Jaime made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions, and truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Highly recommend booking this tour if you’re visiting Medellín!
Our tour guide was Carlos. I am a double amputee, so I brought my electric scooter. Carlos was so helpful and patient. He helped me onto the cable car, up the steep slope of Comuna 13. At one point, I wanted to give up. But he kept motivating me to reach the top of Comuna. I couldn't have imagined a better tour guide.
This tour was an exceptional experience, and I have no regrets about choosing it. The tour guide was highly professional, readily answering all our questions. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning the authentic history of Medellin.
Carlos was an excellent tour guide. He was warm and welcoming in a very professional manner. The Pablo sites and stories were interesting for those of us old enough to remember him. I found both Bogota and Medellin very enjoyable travel destinations. Both had nice accommodations and numerous good restaurants plus the climate and the people were great. I’ve been to 111 countries and these two towns were nice surprises. I ended up staying a week longer than anticipated at the Click Clack Hotel.
Carlos was fantastic ! We highly recommend!
Carlos our Guide was super friendly and has such a good knowledge about the City! Everytime again! Thanks!!
Awww man the driver was soooo helpful very informative. He showed us a good time. Actually I was with him yesterday at 1:30 With Joi and her husband. I will come back hopefully soon
Jaime drove us through many sections of the city while providing a very complete & balanced history of Pablo escabar as well as the city at large.
Wow. JAIME was a wonderful tour guide and a captivating storyteller. He has a lot of knowledge of history of his city and you can feel the love he has for it. His communications in English is effective and fluent. I was able to discuss on numerous issues with him. He presented a balanced perspective of the Medellin cartel. I appreciated the insights and thd people we met along the way. He's a great driver too. Thank you, my man. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
100% I would book this tour again.carlus takes you to all the good spots for the pablo history.takes you up on the cable car and drives to different spots telling you all about the history.takes you up to communal 13 we went to a few bars and walked around.was our best day in medellin
Omg words cannot describe how great this tour was. Carlos was so knowledgeable and also kept the vibe up with the reggaeton music as we drove across Medellin. We learned about the rich history highlighting the great positive transformation of the city of Medellin and Colombia on a whole the past few decades. This tour is a definite must. Ending at communa 13 and having lunch with a view of the city was definitely a highlight. Nuff love from Jamaica 🇯🇲 It was definitely worth it. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped back after - about 5-6h in total (we drove to the various locations)

Carlos is the man! Showed us the history of Pablo Escobar and the electric Comuna 13 district. He was patient and showed us all around the town, and even flew his drone around captured amazing videos
Booked them for a private tour for my in-laws. Tour was fantastic! We had such a great guide, who was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend!
This was a great tour with lots yo see. Service was great and we had the chance to truly take in what Medellin has to offer. Highly Recommended
I can't recommend this tour enough! From start to finish, Jamie was EXCELLENT! Honestly one of the best guides l've ever had. He's incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Medellin. And he was really good at stating facts and staying neutral regarding the history, especially around Pablo Escobar and the transformation of Comuna 13. He explained everything with such clarity and respect, making the experience both powerful and eye-opening. What really made the tour special, though, was Jamie himself. He was so punctual, patient, made sure comfort was priority, and even took amazing photos along the way (seriously, he could be a professional photographer!). He also knew all the best local spots for food, drinks, and souvenirs, places I never would’ve found on my own. It felt like exploring the city with a friend who genuinely wanted me to have the best time possible. His love for his city is genuine and shows through his execution of the tour. If you're thinking about booking this tour, do it. It's 1000% worth it, and I truly wish everyone could experience a guide like Jamie.

We had an amazing experience with Danny. From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting historical facts, local stories, and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. What really stood out was his passion for the culture and genuine enthusiasm—it made the tour feel personal and engaging. Everything was well-organized and timed perfectly, and Danny was always happy to answer questions and make sure everyone was comfortable. Whether you're visiting for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding of the place, I highly recommend taking the tour. It truly made my trip unforgettable!
We did Guatape tour on Friday and Pablo/Comuna 13 on Saturday. We had a great time with Carlos. He accommodated all our needs. Highly recommended!
Carlos was an amazing tour guide! He gave us great insight into all three destinations on the tour—the history of Pablo Escobar, the cable car, and Comuna 13. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and answered all of our questions along the way. The tour was both informative and memorable thanks to him.
We had a great time with Carlos! He picked us up on time in a super clean/nice SUV and gave us some options to customize what we wanted to see that day. We visited several places representing key events in Pablo Escobar’s life, rode a full cable car circuit and ended with a tour of Communa 13. Carlos was very knowledgeable and professional. He even helped us get some drone footage of ourselves taking in the views. This was the best tour experience we had during our week in Colombia.
Jaime Jaime Jaime 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽!!!!! When I say over and above, I MEAN THAT 😎 He really made my experience so memorable and worthwhile 🤗 his passion for his city, his countey truly shines through. This is more than a job for him, you feel and see his passion at all times. If you want someone to really make your tour a great one, please book Jaime 💯 when I come back I will def ask for him
Enjoyed the trip a lot. Jaime has a lot of knowledge about the city’s history and Pablo. Nice man overall.
I had an incredible tour with Jaime. He arrived early at my hotel in the morning. I wasn’t ready and I was embarrassed but he said he would wait for me, no rush. We headed straight to the cemetery where Pablo Escobar and Griselda Blanco are buried. During the comfortable drive, Jaime gave me a comprehensive history of the narcos in Colombia and what life was like in Medellin during that time. We visited so many important places related to the history of the city. I really loved this tour because it combined Comuna 13 and Pablo Escobar’s life. The tour was scheduled to end at 1pm but Jaime let me stay longer in the Comuna which was great because it’s such a big area and deserves more time to explore. He didn’t leave my side ensuring my safety the whole day. I originally thought this tour was a little pricey but with the personal attention I received, I believe it was worth every penny. When I buy souvenirs, I tend to feel compelled to buy and help vendors but Jaime said there’s no pressure to buy. I wanted a Pablo souvenir and Jaime helped me to visit the vendors and find the one I wanted most. It was my final day in Colombia and one of the highlights of my whole trip. I would 1000 percent recommend.
I am originally from Colombia so I know when someone knows Pablo's story. Our guide Jaime has been our highlight of our trip. He REALLY knows the real story of not only Pablo's but also Medellin in general. He was funny, his English was perfect and you will feel super safe with him. He knows everybody and is everybody's best friend. He showed us soo many details in Comuna 13 and Pablo's neighborhood that we wouldn't know going by ourselves. Dont miss this opportunity to learn the history of this beautiful city with tact and respect.
Great experience. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He knew all of the great coffee spots and food cafes…..
I did this tour with my uncle and 9 year old son, Jeimy was tour guide, from start to finish it was excellent and engaging, he arrived early and was very professional. Would recommend.

The Pablo Comuna 13 tour with Jaime was absolutely amazing! Super complete, full of history, energy, and an incredible cultural vibe. You can tell Jaime really knows and loves the community – he brought the place to life with his stories. He didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time. Passionate, engaging, and truly dedicated. Highly recommended!
Carlos was our tour guide and I highly recommend you ask for him!! 5/5 Stars!! From the moment we met he made the whole experience Amazing. His knowledge about Medellin, its history and Pablo Escobar was on point!! We really enjoyed the cable car ride and visiting Columna 13 was my favorite part, especially enjoyed our lunch!!
The views were amazing, the weather was great! Alvis was amazing and knowledgeable! Learned a lot of Medellín history! Definitely will recommend! Can’t wait to come back to Medellin for a visit.
The tour guide Juan was one the best tour guides ever had. He was knowledgeable l, friendly, nice and overall a pleasant to have as a guide
We had a fantastic private tour for two people with Carlos. Carlos was knowledgable, generous with his hospitality and energy. The tour itself was great and ticked off many ‘sites’. It was very interesting - Carlos did the history justice, sharing many different perspectives. Carlos is clearly well known in the communa, so we were warmly welcomed wherever we went. Would highly recommend.
Great tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Pablo Escobar. Nice views on the metro and communa 13 was a 10/10 experience.
James was excellent! He knows his city and loves to talk about it. Arrived on time and was very efficient and professional.
It was a great and amazing tour. The tour operator was quite flexible as I asked for a 30 minutes delay for the pick up. Jaime, the tour guide is very nice, friendly and knowledgable explaining very detail the story about Pablo Escobar and Communal 13, both from the official version and unofficial version. We felt very safe walking along with Jamie both in Escobar Neigborhood and in Communa 13. Unlike our initial thought, Medellin is relatively safe now. With heavy traffic in many places, the tour was much longer than scheduled. Thanks again both to Jaime and the operator. Overall, it is highly recommeded.
We had such a great time on this private tour with our guide, Jaime! We shared which parts we were interested in spending more time at (Comuna 13 and the cable car) and the tour was tailored to accommodate that! Jaime reiterated it’s our tour, and we can spend the time however we would like to, and that’s exactly what we did. He had great knowledge of the cities history, and shared great stories. Our guide knew many locals in Comuna 13 and made so many recommendations. 10/10 would recommend a tour with City Vibes
Carlos was an amazing tour guide. His storytelling was captivating and he customized the tour to what we asked for including bizarre requests for pan de queso, haha! This tour is super interesting and informative. Definitely request to do with Carlos, you won’t regret it!
What a fascinating city and we learned so much about the history of Medellin. Amazing vibrant city full of artistic graffiti. The cable car was fun and gave us an opportunity to see the city from a different perspective. Carlos was an excellent guide.
Carlos was a great tour guide. His storytelling was riveting as he talked about Medellin's darker times. He was a great guy to spend the morning with, accommodated our need for Pan De Queso and was very enjoyable. If you are interested in learning about Pablo Escobar and his history in Medellin, this is a great tour for you.
Jaime was a great host and had a lot of information on the history of Medellin and the difficult period in the 1980s-1990s. He shared both the good and the bad parts and really gave an insider's view as a lifelong paisa. Highly recommend this tour to see some of the most important sites in Medellin.
The tour was wonderful! Jamie was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide! The tour is very well put together, and we learned a lot of things that you don’t get by watching Narcos or any other tv show. And he was very accommodating to our needs and was very happy to customize the tour to what suited us best. Highly recommend!!!
The tour operator was very good with accommodating our change in times due to our flight being delayed , so we were very happy about that .We had a great day with Carlos ,he was very knowledgeable and our experience was a really great one ! Would recommend this tour to anyone !
Our guide Carlos was really informative and we learnt a lot about medellin, Pablo escobar and Communa 13. We really enjoyed the tour a lot and recommend everyone to do this tour!
We had an incredible experience on the Pablo Escobar, Comuna 13 with Cable Car tour. Our guide, Jaime, was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and above all, unbiased. He offered a balanced and deeply informative perspective on Medellín’s complex past, particularly the impact of Pablo Escobar, without glorifying or sensationalizing it. As we moved through different parts of the city, Jaime helped us understand how Medellín has transformed over the years—from a city plagued by violence to one embracing innovation, art, and community. The visit to Comuna 13 was especially powerful. Jaime explained the history behind its struggles and resilience, and the role of art and local initiatives in its incredible revival. The street art was stunning and the atmosphere vibrant with life and hope. Riding the cable car gave us a literal and symbolic view of Medellín’s journey—seeing the city from above while learning how these systems have improved connectivity and opportunity for communities once isolated. This tour was much more than a sightseeing trip—it was a thoughtful, eye-opening experience. Thanks to Jaime, we walked away with a richer understanding of Medellín’s history and its ongoing journey toward a better future. Highly recommended!
Jaime was the most incredible tour guide! His passion, love, and deep knowledge of Medellín and Colombia truly shined throughout the experience. You could tell how well-respected he is—everywhere we stopped, people knew him and greeted him warmly. It made us feel like we were getting a real, authentic understanding of the city. One of the things we appreciated most was how he presented all sides of Pablo Escobar’s story, allowing us to form our own opinions by the end of the tour. He also showed how Medellín has transformed, moving beyond its past and removing the stigma of the 80s and 90s. After taking public transportation through the city the day before, it was refreshing to experience Medellín from a different perspective as Jaime guided us by car. By the end of the day, we didn’t just love Medellín more—we felt like we had gained a new member of our family. If you're looking for a personalized, insightful, and unforgettable tour, this is it. Make sure to request Jaime—you won’t regret it! Thank you for an incredible experience. We’ll be back soon! 🇨🇴❤️
