My friend and I had a great time at Colombian Cacao Experience. Dion, the owner, and our guide Juliette made it feel personal and fun. The owners are warm and actively involved, and that makes a real difference. We made our own chocolate bars and tried a cacao scrub on our faces and hands—plenty of laughs along the way! It’s a hands-on experience in a welcoming space, with chocolate you’ve made yourself to take home. The experience is about 3 hours. And very reasonable admission fees. Small crowd Definitely recommend it if you want something fun and different to do in Medellín. Dion made this the best experience of Medellin

We absolutely loved the Colombian Cacao Experience. This is one of those tours that feels genuinely different from the usual tourist experiences, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Medellín. Dion was an incredible guide, warm, engaging, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about cacao and everything that goes into producing chocolate. The whole experience was incredibly informative without ever feeling like a lesson. We learned a huge amount, had plenty of laughs along the way, and came away with a completely different appreciation for Colombian cacao and chocolate. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful as well, which makes the whole experience even more special. It feels authentic, personal and wonderfully removed from the standard city tour. If you’re visiting Medellín and looking for something genuinely unique, I couldn’t recommend this highly enough. Five stars without hesitation, and absolutely something we’ll be returning to when we’re back in Colombia.

I really enjoyed the history and the pairings. So strategic in how my taste buds would react to all of the alcohol. Really great space and vibes. I do encourage you to eat a snack before as it's a lot of sugar and alcohol. Dion was also a great guide and fun!
