Andres was very professional and picked us up right on time in Poblado. We appreciated Andres knowledge of the city and took us to areas of Medellin that we would not have gone. Food selections were well thought out and delicious. Andres also adhered to our preferred timeline. Please book a tour with him. You will not be disappointed.

While our tour guide was amazing and filled with knowledge about the city, its history, & its food (which was delicious) - we learned far more than was expected from him for this being a food tour. However, the actual food tour did not remotely resemble what is described in this ad for it. 3 stops, no cobblestone park, no dessert & a lot of time driving, & definitely a street food tour. 5 stars for the guide, 1 star for the company on it’s transparency for what the tour actually is.
Food tour with Luis Alberto was super fun. Got to try some traditional Colombian food and eat true meals. Come hungry and you get to learn a lot about different things about Colombia normally not covered in guides
Our food tour was an amazing experience. All because David made it wonderful. We went to the Plaza Minorista tried a bunch of different kinds of exotic and delicious fruits. David was very kind and informative with all the information needed. We also went to Envigado to have a yummy topical Colombian lunch. Not only was an amazing tour but also have the opportunity to explore the beautiful city.
Our guide Daniel was very entertaining and knowledgeable on Columbia history and cultural landscape! Arrived promptly and navigated the traffic expertly
Excelent tour with delicious food and a wonderful guide: Luís Reyes. I highly recomend it. We took it on our last day in Medellín and the flavour, of te City and the food, will linger on us forever.
After a tour with Luis Reyes in the north of Medellin, we went on a tour to the South to explore Sabaneta. Luis is so knowledgeable, courteous, and enjoyable to spend time with and I was lucky that it was just me on the tour for this evening. We ate the most delicious food and he guided me well and responded to my preferences (which were really to try anything!). The food was delicious and he tried multiple vendors to make sure I could have morcilla which I was eager to try. It was a totally new experience for me and I tried many things I never had before, while learning about Colombian culture. The tour ran over time as I wanted to enjoy a beer afterwards and this was no issue for Luis. I managed to leave my larger bag with my valuables in the boot of his car and he drove back to my accommodation once he realised to return it to me - after such a fun evening I had completely forgotten about it! I really recommend a food tour with Luis if you want to understand more about Colombian food and culture and you’d like to get adventurous with street food - something I am usually a bit cautious about. It’s a great tour to do on your own as I did, and I’m sure would be fun with company also.
I had a wonderful guide, Luis Reyes. He took me to San Javier and guided me through the exciting streets full of street food. During the drive there we spoke a lot about Colombian culture and he helped me practise my Spanish although his English is perfect - he was very helpful and patient with my practice. You can door the tour in either language very comfortably. Luis knew the best places to go to and I had so much fun with him! I really cannot recommend a tour with Luis enough. He was fun, courteous, knowledgeable and mindful of my safety at all times. I got to learn a lot about Colombian food and culture.
Excellent food David was super nice & flexible; I felt like I was hanging out & having a good time with a local friend as opposed to a tour guide. I ran into him a couple of times after our tour and it was 😎 Next time we come to Colombia I’ll be sure to contact him.
Wonderful experience and excellent guide! The restaurant selection was perfect followed by coffee and a delicious & refreshing dessert at Blanca’s.
We had the best time with Fabián and Fabio! They were knowledgeable, engaging, fun and flexible. The food was AMAZING and we got to see and walk around different areas of the city. Everything I’d hoped for and more!
I would not recommend this tour. The guide was very pleasant, but did not have much of a plan and was not very knowledgeable about food. He did know a lot about Colombian culture. In the 4 hours, we were only able to get to two of the four promised destinations because they were all so very far apart. There was a significant amount of time sitting in the car trying to get across the city. The food we had was tasty, but nothing that required the travel times we committed to. We could have easily found local restaurants that served this food. Would not recommend.
We had such a wonderful day with Luis! Not only was he kind, helpful and knowledgable about the food, but he was also nice enough to tell us more about Medellin and the sights we were driving past. My dad is in a wheelchair so theres a lot he usually cant do. But this tour was perfect. Luis helped with the wheelchair and made sure we were ok wherever we went. This tour, and tourguide Luis especially, is highly recommended!
We had a memorable experience with Fabio and enjoyed the food. We learned a lot about Colombian food and culture. We took the dinner tour on a Friday night and found the drive very long, maybe it is not as bad at other times or other days. I am scratching my head about why this tour can’t be conducted in the central city, but I knew what I signed up for and it was cool to experience a different part of Medellin. Lastly, the tour was really overpriced, I am sorry to report. I throughly enjoyed it, but not a great value.
Luis Reyes was professional and prompt . The tour was well organized . He was very knowledgeable about the food and town . The food was a very good portion size I was full. I did the evening tour and it was safe trying the street food of Medellin with my tour guide.
We had a nice tour with Fabio and we learned so much about Colombian cuisine. We had arrepas for the first time and enjoyed visiting Envigado and Sabaneta. Thanks Fabio!
Fabio was my guide for this tour who asked about my preference for the tour. He asked about breakfast to which I replied stating interest. We began in Envigado with a traditional Colombian breakfast and it was delicious. I also stated how much I appreciate cities who invest in public transportation so we went for short ride on the transit system. We continued to a local mall where we had coffee and I enjoyed an empanada. I enjoy the 1:1 experience which is more personalized and makes the overall experience positive. Fabio provided in depth knowledge about the area as well as other aspects of Colombian culture. I enjoyed my time with Fabio.
This was an amazing experience. I got to see the entire city, eat the food, and talk to a guy who knows all about the city. I cannot reccomend this tour enough.
This was our first visit to Medellin so I took the easy way out and booked a tour, something we don’t usually do. Luckily we were assigned Luis and had a wonderful time! He was informative, attentive, and made sure we had way too much to eat :) We got a great overview of the city and got to taste a lot of local foods- portions were big, we even took leftovers. It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend requesting Luis.
Luis is very knowledgeable and kind. My comfort was his main concern and I had a very pleasant evening. On my Medellin Food Tour, we stopped at three very distinct restaurants in the vicinity and I was able to choose from a wide variety of foods. Each place had its on unique charm and the workers were all very nice. I highly recommend the Medellin Food Tour Experience and Luis made me feel very welcome.
We had so much fun with our guide, David. The food was incredible and the people were amazing! I’d highly recommend the food tour to anyone.
My tour guide David was amazing! He took me to Sabaneta and we ate everything from chicharrón, arepas, churros, buñuelos, obleas, chunchurria, and so much more. If you get a chance ask for David! He was the highlight of my trip. Highly recommend.
I left a review on google and the company started to harass me on what's app. Instead of them harassing me, they need to address the tour guide name Andre. Below is my review: I booked the Medellín Food Tour and this was one of the worst tours I've been on. The guide name Andre was the horrendous. He only took us to 3 locations. We did not have a dinner at the end. All we ate was empanadas, fried cornmeal, and cold pork belly. This tour was a rip off. I paid $124 and only had street food. Do not use this company. It's a bait and switch. The guide got lost and we rode around for 45 minutes. He complained about how living in a 4 and paying for people who live in 1 and 2 neighborhoods. Edit: Now the company is harassing me on What's App. This is ridiculous. I said what I said. If you want good reviews provide good service. I will not take my post down. Stop bothering me.
We had a wonderful experience. We were taken to several traditional restaurants and tested many typical Columbian foods. Our favorite stop was a vist to the horse stables for a ceryspecial arepa and hot chocolate. It was an off the beaten path experience. Absolutely fabulous. We loved our tour guide Sergio!
Sergio Buitrago was our guide and he is the best! Very chill, laid back but informative tour where you can try many different local foods! Sergio
Sergio picked me up right in front of my door. Then we visited four restaurants and a street market. The food was very tasty. Sergio also explained a lot more about Medellin.

Fabulous. A trip to the market to see all the produce and sample. An excursion to Sabaneta, to enjoy buenolos across from the local church, while listening to the church bells and mingling with the locals. A lunch plate containing all the locals' favorite foods, while watching the children walk by to school. A trip to the hills to enjoy an hacienda-style open air restaurant, with a killer view. A killer tour. fantastic!

The walk in the town of Sabaneta was very nice and what can we say about the food, all the gastronomy of the place was delicious.
It is very interesting to discover and enjoy the flavors of Colombian cuisine with its rich colors and textures. The ones made with corn like arepas and buñuelos were my favorites.
They took us to very good places, the guide very complimentary and attentive, gave us tastings and very comfortable transport
