Great tour of a huge, interesting food market...fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fresh pressed juices and more! Edwin and Camilla were incredible as our guides and they made the fabulous fruit tasting fun and informative. Would highly recommend this tour! Note: make sure your Uber drops you at the ENTRADA, not the loading dock.

Edwin was such a friendly tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the fruits in Colombia and very honest about the top favorite fruits and the fruits that some Colombians don’t care for. It was a phenomenal experience. I totally recommend this tour and Edwin.

Touring the market with a local is the way to go. So much to see and try with your choice of a large fruit drink at the end.
Edwin is an amazing guide. He walked us through the market to orient us to the space before the tasting. The tasting was so good. We tried 22 fruits. He gave us background on each and even knew which we would enjoy the most. I highly recommend this experience.
The experience was very real not much tourism and it showed the real Colombian life the fruit was amazing and Edwin was a wonderful guide along with his trainee they were very knowledgeable and explained in depth knowledge answering any and all questions I had.
Really loved Edwin and the team !!! My friend and I arrived at the incorrect entrance and he came to collect us so we wouldn't get any more lost. Also our tour was just hours after the earthquake and he still brought great energy. Also loved the group everybody was really friendly and conversation flowed easily even though persons were from different countries Jamaica,Austria, France and the US
We had the best time exploring the market and trying all the different types of fruit that Colombia has to offer. Our tour guide Edwin was so energetic and knowledgeable about the market. I would highly recommend signing up if you want to see Colombian’s culture from a local’s perspective!
This is a somewhat different experience that is enjoyable as is it is educational: seeing the day by day operation of an important market and being able to try and test many unknown fruits and flavors. Our guide Edwin was excellent. Unfortunately, one of the persons in my group got sick and we needed to cut the tour short but all that we sampled was a good indication that what me missed was great. Edwin was very attentive to our health incident, offered assistance from the market staff, in case we needed, and followed back after to assure we were alright and that arrived safely at our accommodation. Very recommended.

This is absolute gem of an experience. Going through Medellin’s largest market could be overwhelming, but with the guidance from Edwin, our tour guide, it was a seamless experience. Learning about the different fruits and their origins were a highlight of our trip. Sampling different fruits with someone that has shown their expertise is definitely the way to go. I highly recommend this trip when you can, and I also recommend staying in the market to pick up some fruit, and eat at the restaurant connected to the market. I’d like to thank Edwin for an awesome experience and I hope anyone who is unsure about this tour would reconsider. Absolutely wonderful!
It was a fantastic experience for our group of 11! Tasting so many different fruits was exciting, and the tour gave us exactly what we were looking for. Our tour guide was exceptionally patient—even when a local dog parade delayed us—and handled everything brilliantly on his own. Highly recommended!
This was an absolutely incredible experience that I cannot recommend enough! Edwin was such a kind, patient and fun tour guide. It felt like such a personal tour, he really gave his time showing us around the whole place and then really did such a great job explaining about each fruit. This is the first time I’ve visited the Minorista, and it is such a great place to immerse yourself in local culture and not feel like it is a tourist trap. 10/10 cannot recommend Yes To Colombia Tours enough!
Edwin provided a very passionate tour of the many fruits that can be found in Medellin. He guided us through the busy market with ease and explained things we saw and answered any questions we had. He explained each fruit to the group and offered insight on how best to eat the fruit. It was a wonderful journey throughout Medellin’s fruit culture. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour with our guide Edwin was excellent; we tried many new fruits, he explained the differences and similarities between the various groups of fruit, and he made sure we experienced the Colombian atmosphere of a market square.
