Guatapé has become one of the most important tourist cities in Colombia thanks to its beautiful reservoir and the so-called "Piedra del Peñol" this is a large rock mass 220 meters high that works as a magnificent natural viewpoint towards the reservoir. , in turn, the same municipality is classified as one of the most beautiful in the department of Antioquia thanks to its colorful streets and multicolored plinths that you can walk around after having climbed the stone.

Stop At: Medellin We begin with the pick-up at the Hotel, Airbnb or place of preference of our travelers traveling in a private vehicle to the Replica del Viejo Peñol attraction.
During this tour, travelers will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that the roads of Antioquia can provide.

Stop At: Parque Tematico Replica Del Viejo Penol Our first stop will be in the old town of El Peñol, this town was evacuated and flooded to make way for the reservoir, there we will learn about the stories behind this process and everything that involved moving its inhabitants.

Throughout the day he spent a lot of time explaining the history of both Colombia and the specific places we were visiting. We learnt so much ! . His cafe and restaurant recommendations were also great.
This will count as one of the highlights of our Colombian adventure.
