Visit the gigantic Piedra del Peñol where you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to ascend and descend to the top.
Enjoy LUNCH in a typical restaurant of the region located on the Malecón de Guatapé. We have three options of typical dishes.
In the town of Guatape you will enjoy a walking tour and one hour of free time to explore Guatapé on your own.
We'll take a scenic 40min boat ride across the reservoir, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Along the way, you'll also get to see some of the impressive mansions and vacation homes owned by famous Colombians and enjoy some latin music.
We will make a short stop at República del Alto del Chocho in Marinilla, an interactive countryside experience where you can get up close to llamas, horses, fish, and other animals. You'll have the opportunity to feed, pet, and interact with them while enjoying the beautiful rural surroundings and taking memorable photos.
Return from Guatape to Medellín. We arrive in Parque de El Poblado approximately between 6:00-6:30Pm and Estacion Estadio del Metro between 6:30-7:000Pm

Gautape is lovely and the rock is a must see. The bus was very basic and noisy. Patricia The guide was very poor. She only spoke to the front rows of the bus and only in Spanish. I understand Spanish but couldn’t hear anything she said. I asked several times for her to turn up the loudspeaker but nothing. I would recommend the tour but not with this company.

It’s a long, but fun day! Definitely wear good walking shoes. I hate heights but couldn’t resist this, it was definitely a challenge, both for my lungs and my fear of heights but really beautiful views at the top. Breakfast was light, so would recommend packing a snack (there’s also plenty to buy at the rock and other stops). The boat ride was better than I expected. Patricia was an amazing guide, communicated well, and taught us a lot about the history and cultural importance of the areas we were driving through and visiting. Would definitely recommend this experience to my own friends and family.
I loved this tour. Wasn't overly exhausting for an all day tour becaise you're being shuttle. We didn't climb the hill but was great site seeing. Alejandro was great.

Overall, the experience was great. Our guide was Patricia. She kept the group well organized. She presented in both Spanish and English and was a fantastic host all day. The trip was well paced, and we were kept well informed throughout the day. I would definitely recommend. Our driver, Alberto, also did a great job getting us safely there and back.

I booked this trip and when they confirmed with me about pick up location. You know what not too much people can speak English in Colombia, so confused about pick up location. The company contacted me asking about my hotel then changing pick up location, more closer for me to walk or get uber. The tour guide is very good, friendly and helpful and the driver is very excellent too. Safety and helpful. Omg, I totally forgot to pronounce their name. Again, thank you so much and appreciate about the tour. Good service, great job for tour guide and driver .
Our Guatapé tour with Patricia and Javier was amazing! Patricia is incredibly knowledgeable and made everything run smoothly from pickup to the very end of the tour. Breakfast and lunch were included, which was such a nice touch, and the boat ride was beautiful as well. I honestly can’t say enough good things, the whole experience was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Alejandro was great, organized and all around a great guide and very safe drive to and from Guatape. You get two full meals that were both delightful we both left very full You get great value for money as well! Would recommend to anyone in the Medellin area.
2 hour bus ride each way with plenty of time for each activity without making it seem drug out. The bus was comfortable and the group was about 30 of us. The food was good and the portions were generous. The rock climb was a bit tiring but worth it. I highly recommend this tour especially for the price.
Seeing and walking up the steps in el penol was amazing, wish we would have had more time to enjoy the view. places was crowded due to holy week. could have gone without boat tour, but overall it was a good experience
The tour was fine allowing plenty of time at each location without being rushed. Our guide Alejandro was fluent in english, he gave clear instructions and timing. We wishe we had a little more information along the tour but he gave us some that was interesting.
