This was my first trip to Colombia and it was an amazing unforgettable experience. I stayed 5 days in this lovely nation and I will definitely go back because of the tour experience. We booked not knowing we were located out of their pickup area, but instead of them canceling they picked us up. There's a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The streets are crowded and narrow. The tour was a couple hours and he didn't rush through it. Carlos was very nice and even asked if he could drop us off somewhere else besides the hotel.

The best tour that I had.The tour quide Juan Sebastian Sierra was awesome. Knowledge, very kind and very helpful. I definitely recommend this tour.

Our visit to Comuna 13 in Medellín was absolutely unforgettable. Andre, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and transformation of the neighborhood. He shared powerful stories that gave real insight into the resilience and creativity of the local community. Throughout the walk, Andre made sure we were comfortable and even took beautiful photos of our group, capturing the colorful murals and vibrant atmosphere perfectly. The tour ended at a lovely restaurant with a spectacular panoramic view of Medellín — the perfect way to wrap up an inspiring day. I highly recommend this tour and especially Andre for anyone wanting to truly experience the heart and spirit of Comuna 13!

This was an amazing experience. You get to be immersed in the culture and enjoy the local traditions, as well as have an areal view of the community from the tram. I would recommend this for anyone who loves art, music, culture, and food!

Our guide Jaime was knowledgeable and told the whole story of Comuna 13-no holds barred. The good with the bad. Very informative and gave a really good idea about the transformation this area has undergone since the 1980s.

We had Carlos as a tour guide and William was our driver. We could not have had a better experience. Carlos knew practically everyone in Comuna 13 and provided many beautiful experiences for our family. We had a wonderful time. We could never have navigated the Comuna 13 without him and highly recommend him if you can get him.

Carlos is the best tour guide we have ever had!! Highly recommend if you can get him. He took us through Comuna 13 he may as well be the Mayor of Comuna 13. We had a wonderful and memorable experience!! He knows so much history and we learned so much. Speaks English and Spanish.

The tour was truly an amazing experience. Our guide was Jaime and he was so knowledgeable. I learned so much in so little time. Jaime was truly one of a kind. Someone who keeps the tour lively and always has something to say. With how detailed and informative he was I feel like I could now host a tour of my own. He gave great insight of how the people of Columbia view Pablo Escobar, both the good and the bad, he presents you with all of the information and allows you to form your own opinion. He also knows the best spots to eat/party. The empanadas he showed us in Comuna 13 were some of the best I’ve ever had and for as cheap as can be. This trip would not have been as amazing if it wasn’t for our amazing tour guide.

I had the pleasure of taking a Comuna 13 graffiti tour in Medellin, Colombia, and I must give a special shout-out to our driver, Carlos. From start to finish, Carlos was the perfect guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with fascinating insights about the area’s vibrant history and street art scene. His local expertise truly made the experience come alive. But what set Carlos apart was his eye for photography. He knew all the best spots for capturing the most stunning views and vibrant murals, and his photography skills helped us take home some incredible memories.

Carlos is extremely knowledgeable he knows every single corner of Medellin. He is trustworthy and goes out of his way to make sure you are having fun. You will be surprised to learn almost everyone knows and likes him whenever you go. He lived and went to school in Los Angeles California.

Carlos was super informative and did a great job guiding us through Comuna 13, explaining the significance of various murals and their history. It was very smooth and we enjoyed the tour.

It was a fun and interesting tour with Carlos. He was really cool and the neighborhood loved him which made us feel comfortable. The best part was having a later your start, so we got to see the sunset at the top of the comuna. We wish we had seen a little more graffiti art in other parts like we thought, but overall it was an enjoyable tour.

We had Danny Hincapie as our tour guide he was very knowledgeable very respectable on time and showed us a great time I will recommend him to my friends that will be there next month. Great guy.

Overall, great experience and private tour was able to get an in depth perspective and understanding of the people and the lifestyle changes in comuna 13 and it was big community but definitely a sense of togetherness anongst the people. Altogether it was a fun experience and will definitely come back again and let others know about it. Jaime did a phenomenal job of tell me all about past vs present and the great changes.

Juan was amazing. He was very personal and informative. We enjoyed the safe and efficient cable ride to see impeccable views of Medellín. I highly recommend booking this tour and requesting Juan of you want a tour to remember!!! 10 out of 10.

Great tour! Our guide, Yalmir/David was very knowledgeable and able to answer ALL of our questions (we had many). We booked a private tour for six of us and it was WELL worth the extra money. We were able to stop for a bathroom break, grab a snack from a street vendor, and take our time. I recommend splurging on this tour if you're interested in the history of the city and Pablo Escobar.

Andres exceeded our expectations. His ability to rear when and how to engage was exceptional and we travel a bit. His knowledge and passion for his community and how it evolved was contagious. He was so proud of the authenticity of this community that is probably one of the best representations of the spirit of Medellin. We stayed in the more affluent areas but, this tour for us was rich.

This tour was awesome. Very educational and most importantly our tour guide was the best. Carlos is GREAT!! We really enjoyed visiting Comuna 13. I didn’t want to leave. Carlos was very attentive, his personality and communication was top tier. He made sure we maximized our experience. Amazing experience with City Vibes and Carlos. Would never return to Medellin again without reaching out to them. Even outside of tours, they will take care of you and make life easy and fun in the city. We did multiple experiences and they were all great.

Family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 5 & 9). We booked the private tour with City Vibes and we’re very happy with the experience. Our tour guide, Danny, was friendly and offered lots of information about the history of the Medellin communities. He was fluent in both English and Spanish. He also very patient with our kids. Danny picked us up in a clean, comfortable sedan and took us to the cable cars and Comuna 13 during a 4-5 hour excursion. It was a fantastic experience. The graffiti art, music, and energy of the neighborhood was incredible! Our kids are still talking about it. By the way, try the grilled corn in Comuna 13…. AMAZING!

Just got back from Medellin, we used Carlos with Cityvibes for our cable car tour and it was awesome! He is fluent in English and is very knowledgeable and nice. He even helped us get a group reservation (10 of us) at a really nice steak house last minute too. If you’re going to Medellin and want a great safe experience and need a local to guide you and make it memorable, use CityVibes. i know i will def call them again next time I’m in town.

We were lucky enough to have the wonderful Fabio as our tour guide, who gave us an evening food tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, and despite being a food tour, he afforded us the unique opportunity to ask questions about a range of topics (culture, politics, education, etc) and learn about Medellín through his lens. The tour also provided a lot of flexibility based on our particular interests, so we felt we received a personalized and curated experience. It was a wonderfully rewarding and authentic experience. We would highly recommend!

This was such an interesting tour to experience the cable car system and then the escalators and graffiti in communa 13. Carlos our guide was perfect in every way- personable, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and had an engaging personality. He picked us up at the hotel for our private tour, and took excellent care of us. We stopped for some delicious coffee at a cute local place. Also,organizing the tour with city vibes was so easy. Very prompt responses. professional. Wish we had used them for our other tour in Medellin.

this was such an amazing tour. i had no idea the details of what was going on in colombia only 20 years ago. the fact that these types of tours and help from the government helped build escalators for senior citizens and other folks to use to go up and down the communa is great. carlos has such a deep understanding of the history and also of the meanings of the many beautiful murals across the communa. he picks you up and drops you off in a nice comfortable car and speaks english well. im definitely going to be going consider going on all of his tours.
