Honestly, the experience was great. My driver was bilingual so we were able to converse in both languages and he was really professional. At the experience I was in a group of about 12 people and everyone was really nice. The farm itself was also very nice and our tour operator Laura was very knowledgable, was open to any questions and was fun! I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in how coffee is made and processed from the branch all the way to your cu p

Awesome experience. I learned so much and had delicious coffee. Very interactive experience and there are plenty of cut animals. It’s very convenient to get to and from the farm—the company sends a personal driver right to your address and he takes you home after. My driver, Joshua, was incredibly professional and friendly.
We learned & had a blast! The driver was very kind, and the tour was fun, engaging, and accommodating for all parties: families, couples, single travelers, and older parents. The views at every stop were picturesque, and you could easily run out of camera memory trying to capture the beauty of the Colombian countryside.
The experience was alot of fun and informative. Our time there was about 4 to 5 hrs from hotel and back and the weather was perfect. Our drive Joshua was also kind and informative and so was Our guide. I recommend this tour when visiting Medellin.
My husband and I did this tour with guide Camilo and had a wonderful experience. Camilo is knowledgeable, accommodating and overall wonderful. We really enjoyed the coffee tour, along with the delicious lunch and tasting. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Medellin and we will be back. Thank you Camilo and team!
Excellent tour. Interactive, learned a lot, fun. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know about coffee until I went on this tour! I love the Colombian people so much. They just make everything fun and this was one of those experiences.
This tour was very enjoyable and informative. Much more involved and fun than I assumed it would be. The geographic area the plantation is in is extremely beautiful. Our on site tour guide ( Laura ) was super fun and knowledgeable , she made it a great time ! I feel like I'm now a coffee guru with all the information she taught us. Our Camantours guide ( Camilo ) was super professional and made it a great experience.
The guide spoke very poor English. She refused to give me my money back. This is no real coffee plantage, this is a Disneyland. Some coffee bushes have been planted around which the deceived turists will be herded. Save your money, save your time, go somewhere else.
Great experience!!! Amazing guide at Finca Arrieros, and Our driver Joshua was really helpful!!! We had a delicious lunch at the finca, the only bad thing was the rain, which made the hike a it a little bit difficult
It was a great adventure! Lara was super informative but also kept us awake with her awesome personality, keeping everyone engaged. We climbed the mountain, which has rocks, so wear sneakers! Lunch was unique and wrapped in a tree leaf. Lots of samples and fun to taste. If you like coffee, this is a good tour to try.
Our guide Sebastian was super friendly, picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the coffee farm. We went with our two young kids and my mom, and learned so much about coffee making. Our five year old enjoyed seeing the process and being on the farm. They even have a few horses that our farm guide let the kids feed and pet.
Overpriced for the experience. $124 included some coffee tastings and a light lunch but in a larger group setting, so for Colombia this pricing didn't make sense. Suggest to shop this around. Much better priced options out there. Others on the trip booked same experience for a lot less.
The experience was good and fun. Everyone was kind, especially the driver. Thanks to everyone. It was a wonderful experience with different types of coffee and a comprehensive overview of how coffee is prepared
Sebastian with Camantours was nice, arrived on time and tried to provide some history as we drove to the coffee farm. For a sunday traffic was light so it only took us about 35 min to arrive. I do wish that he would have communicated better that he would wait in the car during the tour. Once we arrived to the farm he introduced us to the guide then disappeared. Not that big of a deal but for future reference. Cell phone coverage is not the best so when trying to message communicate via WhatsApp it didn’t work. h However, the coffee tour was good even for me a non coffee drinker. My friends were expecting much more coffee samples throughout the tour. Learning about the history and actually having the opportunity to pick coffee beans was great but hard work. We came out with a new respect for a cup of coffee. Great English speaking guide on the farm and pretty funny. Oh and to end the he tour with lunch was fantastic. Whats a visit to Colombia without a visit to the coffee farm. Thanks again amigos and being so flexible with my friends and their schedules
Camillo did a great job. I took an unfortunate tumble, he never left my side. He made sure that I was still able to get all of the knowledge, history, lunch and goodie bag.
Medellin is amazing so many things to do and see. I experienced Venecia too, well recommended also with Caman Tours! The experience was great the atmosphere the vibes best time ever. The tour guide made you feel comfortable, secure right at home.
Our driver Juan, who also was very helpful in navigating our way around during the tour, was prompt, professional, and friendly. And so was the team that greeted us at the family farm and guided us around. David was an excellent leader. Lunch was fun, the coffee tasting was fascinating. I think the tour is too long by an hour, and that is the only reason why I gave it four stars instead of 5. As you might expect, the fair wants you to know EVERYTHING there is about coffee, from seed to cup, and it was just too much information for me. But the time went by nicely, the farm setting is spectacular, and as I wrote earlier, the whole team was friendly and engaging. Lunch was topic and fun.
The D'Arrieros | Tour de café - Coffee Tour was great full of information and our driver/tour guide William was excellent, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The coffee guide at D’Arrieros was knowledgeable, fun, and provided us with Arrieros outfits and some coffee beans to taste and experience the texture at difference stages of the bean. The food and drinks were amazing I would recommend you take a visit to the facility.
Very nice tour with Joshua ! You will learn a lot on the coffee production and also taste very good coffee 👌🏻👌🏻 you can take Nice mixtures also
Great tour of coffee farm Close to Medellin ..Camilo acted as our guide and driver in a super efficient and helpful way .. nothing too much trouble for him The tour was just the right length and a great way to see how coffee is still produced on small farms in Colombia
For the third time this trip, we were lucky to have Camilo as our tour guide! He is first rate, speaks and understands English perfectly well and frankly exceeded our expectations. My partner and I thoroughly recommend him and for that matter Camantours.
A beautiful way to spend the day enjoying ‘ all things coffee’ in the mountain setting with Camilo. It’s hard to believe that in just 30 minutes from Poblado, one can enjoy an idyllic setting at an authentic coffee growing farm. Camilo was always nearby capturing photos as we joined a larger group for a thorough education on coffee, from its legendary beginnings to its logical ending in our many tasting opportunities. The stroll about the property picking beans and the final lunch make for a very enjoyable day
Awesome tour. Very informative and I've learnt how NOT to drink coffee . David, Christina and Camilo (our driver) were very good in explaining the process of coffee making. Highly recommend this tour.
So much fun to learn about the coffee production process! Josh was a great driver as always and Amelia was our guide at the local coffee plantation and both were amazing. It was great to learn about some of the different types of coffee and have an authentic lunch that was delicious (also accommodating to vegetarian diets if that is a concern). We loved it so much we purchased a bunch of bags of coffee to take back and give to friends and family! 100% recommend to everyone interested in coffee!
First coffee tour ever for us and very insightful and fun visit to a local plantation in Medellin. We were able to learn about the various ways to produce coffee that we drink as well as taste a few types of coffee at various stages of production. Also lunch was delicious with a great view. Highly recommend if you have any interest in learning more about coffee!!!
We were picked up on time in front of our hotel by Joshua in a private car. He safely and efficiently navigated Medellin traffic to the coffee plantation (45 minutes). In near perfect English, he was able to answer questions we had about Medellin. Joshua then waited with the car until we were ready to depart. The tour itself was around 3 hours long. It was divided into two groups, English and Spanish speaking. Mateo, the English speaking guide, was very knowledgeable and funny. We walked the grounds of the plantation learning everything from coffee seed to cup. The tour ended with lunch, and the ability to buy coffee. We had to depart the tour early due to a prior obligation, and Joshua was ready and waiting to take us back to Medellin. This was a perfect excursion if you only have half a day and are interested in coffee.
We had a blast on this tour of a coffee plantation. It was very conveniently located if you don’t have time to cover the countryside which can take a few hours drive. Our guide, Joshua, from Camantours as well as our driver, Johnny, we’re great in picking us up from our hotel and taking us there. We jammed out to Colombian music on the way there and back and they also took us to a local place to eat authentic empanadas and pandequeso afterwards as well. Fabian, the owner of the coffee farm was an energetic, passionate expert who showed us the entire process of growing coffee plants to getting it into a cup to drink. Our kids (teens) loved it as well and had a lot of fun. We paired this tour with an ATV tour in the afternoon which worked out well.
Joshua from Camantours got us to the coffee tour easily and on time. Joshua and Fabian gave us an amazing tour of this local coffee farm. It was a very educational introduction to how coffee is made and they put our kids to work. Highly recommend this tour.
Calimo was a great great guide. We had so much fun trying all the fruits, learning about the culture, and trying the coffee!! He was so accommodating and was totally prepared. The best day! Viva Columbia 🇨🇴
As a coffee lover this was an incredible experience! Not only did we learn about the coffee making process but also the economics of it all. Bonus we got to see chickens and cows in a very lovely farm area! Camilo was fantastic at translating and even added his own flavor to the tour, highly recommend!
Camilo and Staff were very welcoming, walked us through the whole production process, and gave us the chance to try out various parts. Coffee we tasted was 10/10
Coffee tour guide Camilo was amazing. Got to try some amazing coffee and learn all about the process. Overall incredible
This was an amazing experience! Camilo was the best tour guide and did an amazing job translating (also hilarious and very knowledgeable about Colombian history). We were able to learn about the coffee process and buy beans to use for home! 10/10 would do it again!
The tour was very interesting. The knowledge and understanding the process of growing coffee, in producing and making caffeine. The guides were very knowledgeable and the tour itself was very engaging. Hotel pick up and drop off with friendly driver. Highly recommended
This tour was incredible! After a clear and detailed explanation where coffee comes from how it reached Colombia and about the plant and beans itself you get to experience a bit on how real Workerd dressed up what they needed and eat the food they ate!! This was definitely the highlight of our trip and I really learned how to appreciate good quality coffee!
it was an amazing tour where it rrally get you down and dirty with coffee. picking it from the farm with also learning about the coffee proccess and very much about coffee and how it made a city. this trip is highly recommended. i got surprised to learn that i drove with Carlos, who later i learned was the owner and was very friendly and offered me insight about the city on the way.
This coffee tour with Camillo will explode your senses around the makeup of coffee and will educate u on the growth and history of coffee in and around the world. There is no best coffee in the world only the one that u like to drink and enjoy mosts. Mateo was such a great commentator as well.
Awesome experience. As coffee lovers, we really enjoyed a day of learning. The different types of coffee offered during the tasting... absolutely delicious! The provided lunch was outstanding too! Also, our tour guide Sebastian went out of his way to make an extra stop, so we could purchase candy for our children. Truly top notch guy!
Camilo picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the coffee farm. We were given a tour of the farm and were able to see the coffee production experience. At the end, we were given some amazing coffee to taste. The owner of the farm gave the whole tour. Highly recommend!
We learned sooo much about coffee and how it’s made!! Truly an incredible and eye opening experience. Camilo is the best guide in Medellin! Highly recommend this tour
Execelente, Camilo make sure i anderstans everything throughout the way. I’m so happy i found him he’s the best of all..
This tour was very fun!! The coffee farmer Fabian was so passionate about his craft. He explained the whole farming process from A to Z in a fun manner. The tasting at the end topped it off. Definitely recommend!
Fabian showed around his beautiful farm and spoke passionately about the coffee process. It was very cool to see it from beginning to end, plus at the end we had a delicious cup of coffee to cap it off. If you’re curious about coffee or want to see lush nature, I would definitely recommend this tour. Fabian is a professional speed walker so make sure you challenge him for a race!
Amazing time. Ohh and the coffee was some if the best I've had and I've been all over the world. Camilo was an amazing guide and tour was perfect
The tour was a fun time and learned a lot. The farm where it was was really beautiful . The guide also spoke English witch was a plus.
Carlos, was clearly passionate about growing and producing ecologically conscientious coffee, as well as teaching us about the many aspects of coffee Ins should know - such as what type the most rich in antioxidants, why some coffee has more or less caffeine, and how to prepare your coffee for preserving its best elements. The plantation works with researchers from universities such as Harvard, discovering ways to use all sorts of the bean to develop coffee oil (excellent for skim and exfoliation), coffee butter (delicious) , drinks rich in antioxidants made from the outer skin- which many companies discard and make waste. It was an unpleasant surprise to learn of the contamination in many coffee growing and processing activities that are passed on to your body. I love coffee as one of life’s great pleasures and I will be much more aware of the importance of where a coffee is grown, how it is grown and how it is processed. Did you know some companies mix low quality coffee with high quality coffee to make more money? Lastly, if you have a French coffee press (you should) you are going to learn the optimal way to use it, from how hot should your (quality) water be to how to use your press right! I certainly have been doing it wrong! One more thing, an amazing traditional lunch and many coffee and related beverages are served. You will get your money’s worth and receive a big education and equally big experience. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!
What an incredible experience. Camilo was great in bring me to Carlo’s farm. I learn so much about the history of Colombia coffee and the history of coffee itself. The farm is nestled in the beautiful mountain side with an incredible view. Carlos taught us about the properties of coffee smell and taste. He showed us the correct way of brewing coffee to the the maximum benefits. We also learns how different regions grow and chose coffee beans. We even had an authentic Colombian lunch. As the tour wrapped up several of the tourist commented on how this was the best coffee tour they have been on. This was my first and I was blown away. This is my 3rd tour with Camilo and he has yet to disappoint.
If you thought you had coffee before, think again. Camillo was an incredible host in bringing us to Carlos' beautiful coffee farm with on the mountains, surrounded by flowers and wildlife. There where we learned the history of coffee's origin, its preparation, and consumption (you can eat the beans!). Carlos spares no detail in showing you the process of making coffee - we climbed up the mountain we picked beans off the plants and then ground them ourselves. You will never forget the smell of the fresh beans!!!! Most importantly, we learned how to taste coffee and appreciate it. You will never drink regular coffee again. Be ready to take pictures and take notes, because you'll plant coffee seeds and write a book when you go back! You this review was over right? Wrong? After lunch, and a ton of caffeine, we went horehorseback riding and talk about an unforgettable experience. Going up and down the mountains, taking pictures along the way - you'll want to do it just again for fun. Thank you Camantours, Carlos Valle, and Camilo Aguirre for an unforgettable day.
If you’re a coffee junkie and love adventure this tour is for you. We learned of the interesting history of coffee in Colombia as well as taste testing several of the styles made fresh on the plantation.. Now for the adventure part... the horseback riding tour was amazing! First of all, the horses are well trained and follow commands given be the rider. Second, you get to ride through some amazing countryside and intense trails. Absolutely stellar experience!
What a great day we had at Carlos his farm! Carlos is a charming guy who will take his time to tell you about his farm and the many possible ways to make use of coffee. The farm itself is beautiful!! During our stay in Colombia we wanted to try as much as possible local food and that was exactly what the lunch gave us. It was delicious! Afterwards we went horseback riding on wel trained and wel cared for horses. The scenery you will ride through is gorgeous! Furthermore, everything was very well organized. We got a private transfer with our guide Diego. He also stayed with us during the whole day which was very nice.
