Best Full Day Private Medellin City Tour And Botero´s Plaza

David is the man! He has incredible knowledge of Medellín and knows exactly where to take first-time tourists. He shared so much fascinating history, giving us a genuine appreciation for the culture. David’s energy stayed super high all day long, keeping the entire experience engaging and fun. Incredible value for the time and quality offered. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the most amazing experience on the City Tour. David was our tour guide, who is very knowledgeable of the city history. We learned a lot from him about the history of Colombia. His English is excellent and he is an excellent guide. If there were more stars I would definitely give him more 10/10 -seriously speaking. Way to go David! Keep up the excellent job!

I have meet to David yesterday to make another tour and today I´ve repeat due same reason than yesterday, closeness, knowledge and great vibe. Loved the trip. The planning was good. We had an amazing time. The guide Alex Herrera was simply the best. He adjusted and customized the tour a bit based on our asks. He allowed us to spend enough time at each of the stops and explained everything with proper diligence.

We strolled around Down Town, explored the market and tried all kinds of fruit, took the elevator over the rooftops of Medellin to Arví Park (but you need at least a day to walk around here) and visited Comuna 13

Had a fantastic private tour of Medellin and the guide Joe was such an awesome character. Clearly well connected to the community, knew all the stories of the Cartels and Pablo Escobar and this beautiful city. Clearly a lot of knowledge and first-hand experience. Also very flexible with the itinerary when my flight was delayed and we lost some time together. Only sad because I would've loved the extra two hours! Really great to learn about the stories and the remarkable transformation of Medellin. Definitely recommend for a private tour and driver, felt totally safe the whole time.

Really good all day tour of the city. It was interesting to see things through the eyes of a local. The tour guide I had was fantastic and explained many things to me that I would not have seen on my own just running around the city. Joe was the best tour guide we’ve had! His vibrant personality & knowledge of Medellin made our experience unforgettable. He took us to some amazing spots, including Comuna 13, the Botanical Gardens, and Plaza Botero. We also took the metro-cable, which led us to a beautiful nature reserve. We truly got to see the city like locals. Would highly recommend!

The car they sent to me broke a few minutes after we left for our tour. We had to be taken back to the hotel. But I need to congratulate Camilo. He quickly found a replacement car and guide and sent them to the hotel. Unfortunately, at that moment, we had already booked another tour (since we didn't have time to waste). These things happen. Camilo and his company did everything to get it fixed. But since we had already gone, they gave us a full refund on Viator. I would recommend this company to anyone who comes to Medellin. We all loved their punctuality and accountability.

We had such an amazing time! Albert Gomez was our tour guide and took us to so many places, the private tour is very personable and lots of great sightseeing. Plenty of time to do absolutely anything you want to do/see. 10/10 recommend and would book another one.

Daniel Escobar led us on a full day private tour of Medellin City and Fernando Botero's Plaza. The experience with Daniel was nothing short of AMAZING! A 20 / 10 experience! Daniel went over and beyond, which we greatly appreciated. Daniel was not only highly knowledgeable and very generous in sharing that knowledge with us, he was also highly attentive and responsive to our needs. We started the day at Plaza de Botero where Daniel expertly and confidently guided us through the beautiful outdoor sculptures, the Palacio de la Cultura Rafael Uribe and the Museo de Antioquia. After that, we had a safe and wonderful experience on the metro where we visited the botanic gardens, followed by a cable car ride to Parque Arví. We topped the day with a wonderful introduction to Communa 13. Overall, we had an absolute blast with Daniel and would recommend his services without any reservation. Thanks Daniel for an amazing day!

The tour was wonderful! My guide was knowledgable and easy-going - I really felt like I was exploring the city with a friend. Not only did he cover all the major sights but also personalised the tour for me by visiting some atypical sites and giving me a real local view of the city and it's culture. My guide took me for lunch at his favourite local restaurant for one of the best meals I had during my visit. Having a private tour also allowed me to spend more (or less) time at places so we could cover more of them. I highly recommend signing up for this - particularly if you're new to the city!

I've done a lot of tours, but this tour was one of the best. My tour guide, Luis Reyes, was unbelievably accommodating, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Probably the best guide I've ever had.

There was a minor issue with the tour which was resolved quickly. My driver Albert was great, very informative and as I was the only one on the tour it was tailored to exactly what I wanted. Just be aware of the altitude when the cable car reaches the top.

We had some last minute changes due to our travel so we had to start our tour later than originally planned. David was extremely flexible and ensured we got to see everything that we wanted to see. He was incredibly informative and knowledgeable about Medellin and its history. He gave great insight into the city’s past as well as the city’s progress in recent years. You can truly tell he loves Medellin and it was impossible not to fall in love with this city during the tour. To top it off, his taste in music was impeccable and he even gave us some local Medellin Hip Hop to listen to!! Lastly, despite David recovering from a stomach bug, he never dropped his positive energy and ensured we still had an amazing and informative tour. You can not visit Medellin without seeing it through David’s eyes!!

I recently took a day city tour of Medellin, Colombia with David as my guide. David was an excellent guide and did a wonderful job showing us the city and providing an outstanding experience. We felt safe and had a great time throughout the tour. We visited the Botero Plaza, where we saw a number of sculptures by the famous Colombian artist Fernando Botero. We then visited the Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional Colombian village. We also took a cable car up to the top of Nutibara Hill, where we had stunning views of the city. In the afternoon, we visited the Comuna 12 and had lunch with the nicest view below us. David was a great guide and made sure that we had a memorable experience. He was knowledgeable about the city and its history, and he was always happy to answer our questions. He was also very friendly and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend taking a day city tour of Medellin with David. He is an excellent guide and will make sure that you have a great time. If you are planning a trip to Medellin, I highly recommend taking a day city tour and be sure to request David as your guide. Due to flight delays, i was so diappointed that i had to cancel my tour. However, that did not happen. Instead my tour was rescheduled from 8am to 11am. Luis was my guide for city tour. There were few places we didnt stopped due to time constrained, but i wasnt diasppointed to have missed it. Due to delay in start time, the fi al stop in my tour was at communal 13/graffiti. This was the highl7ght of my day. I truly enjoyed the graffiti paintings on the wall. Overall, it was a nice tour. At one pou t, it started pouring hard (but i can't control mother nature), so we just sat and enjoyed lical meals. I would really highly recommend Medellin City Services and Luis for your city tour guide (he is not limitred to city only).

Our tour with Fabio was fantastic! While we enjoyed all of the stops, our favorite parts were the tour of Comuna 13 and the cable car ride up to the top of Arví. We regret that we only had a couple of days in Medellin and we're already planning a return trip.

We checked out some of the most important parts of the city through a lens of what the people here really value. The insight we were getting throughout the day helped to make the experience so much better, and it really just felt like we were hanging out with a local friend. Amazing trip. My tour guide for the day was Pablo who arrived on time at my hotel. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. 5 hour tour which included : - A visit to the prison - A visit to Pablo Escobar’s burial site (this included Griselda Blanco’s resting place as well) - A visit to the infamous roof top he was killed. - Lastly a visit to Communa 13 - known as the world’s most dangerous barrio not so long ago. The Tour was very relaxed and at my own pace. Highly recommended to anyone who has an interest in this part of Colombia’s history.

We fully enjoyed our trip with Steven. The tour was full of fun. He showed us around the city. We rode on local transportation such as the tram and the cable car. He told us about the history of Madellin, comuna 13 and etc. He took us to a Colombian restaurant where we tasted Local dishes. It was very interesting to us. The tour was excellent! We had a lot of fun with David especially in Comuna 13. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! There was crazy traffic because of a celebration in the city and he was super patient with all the extra traffic we had. Would absolutely recommend!!
