Authentic Colombian Horseback Ride

Well organized tour. Horse ranch is well run and horses are beautiful and healthy. Views on the ride are stunning. Stop at the waterfall and fruits snack was memorable. And lastly, Juliana was an amazing and welcoming guide!

I enjoyed the horseback ride. Juliana was an excellent guide. The trip was very smooth and well ran. Timely pick up and drop off. The ride is nice as you get to experience some different environments from hills with views to more dense foliage in the forest.

What an amazing adventure! We met with our tour guide Gustavo Montoya, who took us on a 45-minute car ride to the horse farm. We were impressed not only by the size, but also the cleanliness, the layout, the super-friendly staff, the attention to detail and the whole organization. After we had changed into our "horse gear" which was provided, we were off, up into the mountains. The scenery was breathtaking! Although we're not experienced riders, we had no problems and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. One of the various highlights was, when we took a break about midway, left the horses tied-up to some trees and descended on foot to a waterfall; when the path was steep Gustavo took my hand and guided me safely. At the waterfall, we were treated to some local fruits, and when we returned to the farm we had a choice of complimentary wine or beer. This was a truly unforgettable trip!

Amazing experience, Gustavo and staff were incredible. We had so much fun. Gustavo has so much knowledge on horses. Even tho it was our first time there wasn’t a single moment where we felt unsafe. Can’t wait to go again!

Gustavo was the best tour guide, explaining everything in English & Spanish and full of great information. The transpo there and back was smooth/painless. Our horses were mostly tranquil and navigated the terrain with ease. The views throughout the ranch area and jungle were stunning. Local Colombian fruit by a waterfall and cerveza after the journey was also a much appreciated touch. Small tip: easiest way to communicate to ensure smooth travel and receive photos from the journey is using WhatsApp.

The horseriding in the jungle was an amazing experience! The guides are really nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Tour guides were so flexible and were willing to help bring luggage as I was going between airbnbs. The horseback riding got cut short because of another tour group so that was frustrating, but we still had enough time to go to Guatapé and see the pineal formation. The horses were happy and even started running in the prairie - some people have a hard time managing but it was beautiful at the end. Glad I got to see so many places. I wish the tour guides had more historical background to share though. The translation to English was not always perfect either.

Riding a horse for the first time with clear helpful instructions, the landscape was beautiful and horses were very friendly.

I loved the horses who knew what they were doing. The steps down to the waterfall were a little slippery but I went slowly without problems. They helped me get on the horse and were always aware of my safety.

Although I wasn't able to complete the tour due to extenuating circumstances in Medellin, the tour company did everything possible to try and solve the issue. We ran into a humongous traffic jam (like we moved two blocks in about two hours) and just weren't able to arrive at the ranch in time to finish the ride before sunset. The tour company proactively offered to reschedule for the next day or completely refund our purchase price. Additionally, the tour guide walked us to the nearest metro station, purchased metro tickets for us, and personally escorted us back to El Poblado. Given that the traffic was due to a one-time event and completely out of the tour company's control, I'm very satisfied with their customer service.

Such a fun day! We’ll coordinated and a gorgeous trip through the jungle. The guides were so wonderful and the horses were so well trained. It was such a great adventure!

I select this company for the horse ride with my family. I think it was the best decision I made. They first ask us the level of experience with horses of each rider for the horse selection. They offered horses that were healthy, responsive and not in an automatic mode following the horses litter. JJ was our guide with two other assistants. they all were very friendly and attentive. JJ made us felt like we were in a company of an old friend. It was an excellent crew. The ranch had nice trails, amazing views and a waterfall. I highly recommend this tour. They made our ride a five star experience.

Juan was the most sweet and patient guide, one who obviously loves what he does! This horseback trail was the most wonderful, being in the heart of Medellin forest with beautiful waterfall through the hills! Loved every moment, definitely recommend this trip!!
