The Somos Flats Central Poblado

Close to the touristic area of El Poblado without being disturbed by the night life of it. About 15 min walking time from Provenza. Nice breakfast. The view from the balcony room on the 4th floor included.

Second time at this location, and I'll definitely visit again. Nice, clean rooms; nice, courteous people; centrally located in El Poblado. Many things to do in the area. Serving a typical Colombian breakfast and well-priced.

Hotel Somos Central has a great location in Medellín and overall gave us a mixed but decent experience. The front desk staff was very polite, helpful, and spoke some English, which made things much easier for us coming from the USA. We also really liked the privacy of the hotel since it’s tucked away on a quieter corner instead of being directly on a busy main street. The hotel itself was clean and had a nice boutique-style atmosphere with good music and a relaxing vibe. The location was one of the best parts — everything is within walking distance including restaurants, cafes, shops, grocery stores, salons, beauty plazas, and even a Bancolombia nearby. There were a few downsides though. The rooms are very small and don’t include a table or chair, which made longer stays less comfortable. Hot water was inconsistent depending on the time of day, and we often had to ask multiple times for clean towels, toilet paper, and bedding. The breakfast buffet was convenient but pretty basic and the coffee portions were very limited. Room service was also disappointing. Overall, it’s a good option if you value location, cleanliness, and atmosphere more than room size and amenities.

This was a very nice hotel for a fair price. It was very conveniently right next to the supermarket and some ATMs making for a quick and easy experience. The staff was all very friendly and professional, I would recommend to anybody wanting to travel to El Poblado
