My group stayed at the Medellín Marriott Hotel from August 15–18, 2026, after experiencing a frightening situation at our previous accommodations. We needed a safe place to stay on very short notice, and the hotel staff was incredibly kind, patient and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcomed, secure and genuinely cared for. Their professionalism and compassion helped us feel at ease and allowed us to enjoy the remainder of our trip. I understand the importance of excellent guest service, and this team truly went above and beyond. I am extremely grateful to everyone who assisted us. Your kindness meant more than you may realize. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Adriana made the front desk experience amazing. Adonis hosted our dinner reservations in the hotel resturant he was great our food was amazing and so were drinkssss and mocktails !!!!

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Medellin Marriott Hotel. The finishes and furnishings are much better than your typical US Marriott, especially in the guest rooms and bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the immaculate marble bathroom, comfortable mattress with featherbed, and oversized bath sheets. The gym is also great, and the private gender steam rooms makes allow nice recovery. White it felt more like a corporate hotel than some of the more interesting boutiques in Provenza, the rooms were much more generously sized and comfortable for two people to share. We enjoyed the great view from our room on a high floor overlooking the city and surrounding mountains. Downsides: The lobby and ground-floor restaurants feel dated, particularly due to the furniture and decor. Hopefully this will be redone soon; it needs it. The japanese "arch" in the sushi bar felt dated and there was nowhere good to sit down and have a drink. My spa appointment was incorrectly confirmed by AI; when I showed up, they said that the reservation hadn't been confirmed and someone else took my spot, which was disappointing. We also needed a grab-and-go option to take a gift to a friend's house and ordered a box of macaroons from the Market which were presented so horribly in a takeout container that we couldn't give the gift....we ended up giving them to our Uber driver instead.
Terrible customer service. I needed a conference room for an important meeting. I went to the hotel desk the night before to book a conference room. They never got back to me and when I called the next morning they said, come in and it will be no problem. But when I arrived, they didn’t have the room ready, charged me an outrageous price to use the room and didn’t seem to care at all. Front desk was understaffed. You can find much better places for less money in Medellin.
This is a great spot. Across the street there’s a number of restaurants and you’re very close to a popular area. Generally, the area felt super safe, and the staff were really lovely. Every time we needed something from the front desk, they were extremely accommodating, including letting us borrow one of their personal umbrellas because they had run out that day. Our room was lovely. We had a view of the pool and it was pretty spacious. The shower and bathroom were quite large too. The hot water took quite a bit of time to get going, but once I did, it was OK. This was really the slightest of issues. Upon arriving, we had a lovely welcome gift, recognizing my status, delicious treats we were ready for after our time waiting at immigration. This is nice and centrally located so you’re a quick cab away from most things you might want to do. Definitely a recommended spot. And check out the coffee shop in the lobby while you’re at it !
The location is wonderful, and the food and staff truly care about their guests. Adonis from the lounge on the 11th floor was especially considerate—always smiling, attentive, and making sure I felt well taken care of. There's nothing quite like enjoying a glass of wine and a “mil hojas” after a long day of work to unwind.
