Ghl Hotel Porton Medellin

Put my name wrong, I explained on WhatsApp, no response, no correction, no apologies. Services are 0 except for during the breakfast. Not communication friendly for English speaking people as well.

I made a reservation in January for an October stay, but canceled it a few days later. Despite the reservation clearly showing as canceled, the hotel contacted me in September.. just weeks before the original stay dates.. asking me to complete a form and provide payment through an external link within 14 hours or risk having the “arrangement” released. This felt highly suspicious and appeared designed to create panic and pressure guests into submitting personal or payment information. I would not stay at this hotel, book with them again, or recommend it to others.

My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were treated like family. Every single employee was so kind and caring with such professionalism. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with some cold fresh fruit drinks. Our room was absolutely beautiful with mountain views. The rooms are very well decorated. Their breakfast has such a substantial variety as well as a very nice young lady preparing eggs of your choice on the spot. The hotel has a restaurant with a chef who prepares excellent food and special requests as well. Although my daughter fell ill on our stay, every single employee acknowledged us and we felt overwhelmingly welcomed. We would recommend this hotel to all traveling to Medellin Colombia. A most special shout out to Angelica y Jenny for stopping by our room and making my daughters birthday special. Also the rooftop Jacuzzi was so refreshing. I only have positive things to say about this hotel. The location is excellent, free parking is available, breakfast is included, everything is very clean, and the gym is open 24/7 with a beautiful view. Above all, the service was exceptional from day one. Luisa was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. She truly deserves a promotion or at least a raise nowadays it’s rare to find people who do their job with such dedication and care. She genuinely made our stay better than expected. Highly recommended.
