Dann Carlton Medellin Hotel

Accidentally tried to check in at this Hotel Dann. My reservation turned out to be at the Hotel Dann Belfort, no problem. I asked the desk agent how the neighborhood was around the other Hotel Dann. He very snidely said it is a hotel. I asked the question again stating I’m interested in knowing about the environs. He again very curtly and snidely responded that it was also in el Poblado. And left it at that. I thought I was in a movie. A completely stereotypically snotty desk guy. A Colombian Paul Reubens character. lol

I'm currently staying at this hotel. First of all - not a 5 star hotel whatsoever. Not the rooms not the cleaningness. But this is not why I'm taking the time to leave a review. The reason I'm doing it is because there's a block party downstairs which we didn't know of, crazy loud music right underneath our window, and the window? The cheapest thinnest window, the party is Kelly literally on my room. I called the reception and they knew about it but I guess it wasn't important to notify guests they are not going to get any sleep, not us not the kids. Disappointed, would not go back. There are many other options around, do the research. I will edit this review if I feel the hotel shows more accomodation and assistance

I recently visited Hotel Dann Carlton Medellín for dinner at the restaurant, so I did not stay overnight at the hotel. However, based on my experience during my visit, the hotel itself looked absolutely beautiful and impressive. The elegant design, spacious areas, and welcoming atmosphere gave the impression of a high-quality property with excellent attention to detail. The restaurant was the highlight of my visit. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, making it a great place for a special dinner, a business meal, or a night out. The food was excellent. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail were clear in every bite. The menu offered great options, and the overall dining experience was one of the best I had in Medellín. Even though I did not have the opportunity to stay at the hotel, my experience at the restaurant left a very positive impression. Hotel Dann Carlton Medellín appears to offer a great combination of elegance, hospitality, and quality service. I would definitely return for another meal and would consider staying here in the future based on the outstanding experience I had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful hotel atmosphere and an excellent dining experience in Medellín.

We had a very good stay at Dann Carlton Medellín. The hotel has a classic and slightly elegant feel, and it is clear that it is a well-established hotel with good service and everything running smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we felt well taken care of from the beginning. A special mention should go to Santiago, one of the bellboys, who made a particularly good impression on us. He was kind, attentive and very helpful, and small things like that really do make a difference during a hotel stay. The location worked really well for us. It was easy to get around, and the area felt calm and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, which was especially nice for us as a family, as it gave us a good base to return to after long days exploring the city. The breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the hotel facilities made the stay even more enjoyable. It is not a brand-new or ultra-modern hotel, and in a few places you can tell that it has been around for some years. But that did not change the overall impression, which was very positive. All in all, a very good hotel in Medellín that we would happily recommend. Not perfect, but definitely above average, and a place where we felt safe and comfortable.
