Gather Witches and Warlocks! Come create a unique witches broom for your home or your altar. We walk you through designing and decorating your own custom witchcraft souvenir broom to bring a little bit of magic of Salem to bring home with you. We offer unique colors and design accessories to customize your own broom including trinkets and charms, colorful ribbons and colorful broomcorn. We teach you how to masterfully wrap your broom, attach various charms and earthly elements for protection, or to ward off evil, or propagating good luck and good fortune, and to repel spells from others if need be. Our instructors will help you every step of the way. So come with an open heart, a little creativity, and we’ll help you create a fun memorable witchcraft souvenir from Salem. We do offer shipping at an additional cost. Please see workshop instructor. Please Note: Our workshop location is not at the Retail Store location on Essex Street *** We do have a limited seating area for one or two guests. Parents: we DO NOT allow children to be in our waiting area unattended. We try to preserve our workshop space environment and atmosphere for a relaxing enjoyable experience for everyone.

My husband and I had a great time making witches brooms on Halloween night. (Although I could feel it had been a very long Halloween season) We had completely different brooms in the end. What a fun souvenir to ship home from Salem. Everyone was nice and she gave great directions. I didn’t really know what to expect.. We had a few latecomers that threw things off for everyone… don’t be a latecomer! Arrive as directed outside the little ice cream shop and come early! Trust and wait they will come find you there.

This truly was a magical experience! They were so kind and really took their time with everyone to help each person make his/her own witch's broom--an awesome keepsake of Salem. They were so helpful, you were never in the dark on the next step. The materials were high quality and they were not stingy with them. They had everything you could imagine to really give it your own personalized touch! Even though it was the day after Halloween there wasn't too many people and you got a great one-on-one experience. The atmosphere was calming with the music they played which was a great feeling after being in the huge crowds the night before. It was well worth the money. My boyfriend and I made a broom together to go on our wall and it is so gorgeous! Also they offer shipping which really calmed my nerves since we are from Alabama and knew we couldn't get it on a plane. We are so grateful for this experience! Recommend 100%!

This was AWESOME!! Making our own brooms was such a fun and unique way to spend the morning! The staff were so kind and helpful and the instructions were very clear. They even offered to take pictures of us with our brooms and offered shipping onsite with them for $40. We had such a blast and cannot recommend it enough!

Ashley and Laura did shut an amazing job leading this class my fiancé and I had such a an amazing time making brooms! They also will ship your broom home for a less fee than UPS it was such a great experience! I highly recommend doing this!!
The overal experience was great. We enjoyed the creating our brooms. All 3 brooms were differnet. It was nice to see what we all came up with.

The couple who runs it are great and very patient. My daughter was being very meticulous with where she was placing everything and got behind everyone but they kept helping her so she was able to finish.

It was so fun. The ladies were so patient. Never felt rushed. Wasn’t over booked. The selection of products was great. We were told beforehand that UPS WAS close by to ship it home. Turns out they had the box’s and did everything for us for a small charge. I will think of Salem every time I look at it. Highly recommend!
Oh my god, this was my favorite activity out of my trip. It was so fun, and so unique. It was such a blast making a broom and seeing my mom and boyfriend make one too. Also Jess and Sam were so nice.

The class was very fun. Lots of product to choose from to make the broom. Broom is still not shipped after more than a week and 2 phone calls. There is a payment issue unresolved.

We had an excellent time and are very excited to display our brooms at home. The staff were very helpful and there were tons of variety in the items we could use. I would definitely recommend bringing a charm or spell bottle to personalize even further.
Was a lot of fun. Don't need crafting experience to participate. The people running the class are very helpful to make sure you "Love" your broom.
This was such a fun experience. You get to completely customize your very own broom, and with everything you can add and customize it was 100% worth the money. The class itself took about a hour and a half but some finished earlier than others. They will even take care of shipping it back home for you if that’s an option you need! (Minus shipping cost of course) Our “teacher” even had notes out showing what colors in a broom could mean, what embellishments, etc. It was a very fun experience for a souvenir I’ll have forever!
We had the best time creating our brooms, highly recommend!! Super simple process but we were each able to create something exactly the way we wanted. Brooke and Jess were fantastic! They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made our overall experience extremely enjoyable.

The class was GREAT! Everything is ALL included in the price you pay to make a broom - you can do small, medium or large & you get all the colors, additional items/charms, ribbon to put on it! Melody was beautiful and helpful and lovely to work with- she made sure we were all happy with our creations.

This is a very personal experience. Our guide Stacy was extremely helpful and was willing to step in and make sure everything was running smoothly. She explained to us what all the spiritual meanings behind each item were and helped us crafted our version of the perfect broom. Her partner Lara worked with a different table but was also willing to answer any questions that we had. They were both so patient with me being indecisive and reassured me that whatever I chose would make a beautiful broom! This is an incredible experience if you’re looking for a small break from the busy streets of Salem!

We had a great time at the Witch City Broom Making Workshop! It was such a fun and unique experience, and we loved getting to create our own brooms to take home as souvenirs. The instructors were patient, helpful, and fun, making the whole process enjoyable and easy to follow. A perfect activity for anyone looking for something a little different to do in Salem. Highly recommend!
Mel was awesome. I love my broom! She was a great instructor and loves what she does so it was a great time! Just a heads up if you choose the largest broom you’re going to have to pay over $100 to have it shipped at the local ups store. All said and done I’m happy we did this and we’ll have the memories with this broom!

Melisandre and Laura were amazing!!!! So kind and patient with our group and we are all obsessed with how beautiful our brooms are!!! Hanging mine from the ceiling as Mel recommended. Thank you again ladies for our favorite Salem experience. For non broom flyers - we purchased a $20 sports equipment bag that was 6ft and put all the brooms in it and checked it at the airport. Our brooms arrived in perfect condition at our destination.
Such a fun, unique activity to do. Great souvenir. The ladies who helped our class did a great job, very helping for people who aren’t very crafty like myself. We had a great time.
