The view was incredible! We walked several times around! So glad we made it! Such a friendly staff! ❤️

Horrible experience and very, very expensive parking it was very hard to find the parking lot and finally when we find it it was very expensive and I don’t think there’s anything exciting to be in that building to look at the round city for that money which you are charging
Incredible views. Amazing weather! Wow!!!
The deck was rented to a private function and it closed at 3:30 even though our reservation was at 3:30. There was no call or notification telling us that. The manager did give us vouchers to come another day but probably good to confirm before you go there.
Try and book your visit on a clear day, especially if you want to see the sunset. You really do get an amazing view.
Amazing see right round boston . Not to be missed.. finished by a cocktail in bar.. a day to remember
The venue was close and nobody informed us anything until we get there. All our afternoon plans got canceled.
Wonderful way to view the city and how massive it is. Enjoyed the QR codes to get more information on what was seen.
Great experience perfect way to view 360 of Boston. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Boston ..pictures a must!
Wonderful view outside and inside!!!
We booked this excursion months ago & we were unlucky it was on a rainy day. We still enjoyed looking 👀 around & checking the place out. Please check out the View on a sunny ☀️ day.
What are jammin boss! I’m not sure how many years it has been open, but I’ve been to Boston to come, and I’ve never heard of this place. The observation deck is impressive! It looks brand new, you can tell they spent a lot of money on it. Very well done. Here’s even a bar. Multiple levels, so make sure to check them out.
Ok I know we booked the tour on our only day here and it was raining. Nothing you could do with that but. Half of the areas were closed for private proposal and private event. The bar area , you pretty much need to get your own menus and get your own drinks at the bar because nobody will even greet you. None of the personnel is friendly or smiling. For the price of the ticket it’s a bit disappointing
Lovely view of Boston and Cambridge, not very much to do up there though. A bit pricey for the experience.
It’s an amazing view to see 360 of Boston. They had beautiful displays of faux flowers. The Bar wasn’t open till 3 so if you’re looking to spend all day there for drinks and view then it’s worth it. If you are a local I think it’s boring and not worth the money. There was a slight annoyance we bumped into while there … When you walk in they have you pose for pics this way if you want to purchase it later at the gift shop you can. As we were exiting the gift shop. We were stopped by one of the employees who seems a bit rude. She was making multiple shocked and rude faces because we didn’t give her our QR code to see our pics. It was a weird and uncomfortable moment for us. Other than that this place was ok.
We were in town for a long weekend and decided to do this experience. It's expensive for what it is, for sure, but it's a unique experience that you can't get elsewhere. There's a bar on the roof, and the drinks were good. The views are spectacular, so if you're new to Boston, it's a great way to see the city. Give it a shot, but know that it's probably not going to feel worth the money. Even the flower exhibit they advertised was pretty minimal effort.
Wasn’t very crowded when we went, but disappointed to see the restaurant is closed to reservations and only available for events. The bar also closed at 5pm, which was not convenient for patrons that booked a ticket. The artificial flower display was realistic and beautiful backdrop. The views of the city is really what we go for. Love the new interactive maps.
Beautiful scenic view of city all around building was clean and beautiful workers very friendly and helpful
The observatory was great however we didn’t get into the roof top bar to experience the sights due to a private event. Very sad to not have the total experience. Also there were a lot of kids running around disrupting pictures and the romantic vibe. Parents and security were not doing their job. The parents were too busy taking selfies & not watching their kids. I didn’t know I was buying into a playground area.
Great views! We timed our trip so we could watch the sunset but, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate! Don't forget to go the floor below and walk around the outside deck. The lighting display of the city is great too! Just a fyi- I don't if it was just a one time glitch or if is is standard but their scanner cannot read the qr code on the Viator tickets. You will need the pdf that is also sent to you.
Absolutely worth experiencing! I went solo and had a great time exploring at my own pace. The views of Boston were incredible, especially seeing the city from so high up. There were plenty of opportunities for photos, and I never felt awkward being there alone. I would definitely recommend View Boston to both visitors and locals who want to experience the city from a completely different perspective.
Similar to One World Observatory in NYC with a better view, you can see the full view of Boston in here, there are several levels and there is one level you can walkout and high glass walls surrounded to ensure safety and with a bar there. There was also a light model area show which is interesting. They used modern X-Ray walk through detectors for everyone to enter pass by and the intention seems make it less visible so that visitors may not realize them at least right away, but this new technology only looks nice but actually less visitors friendly than the traditional airport detectors as contain detect errors, turned on cellular phones etc. will triggered alarms at no reason and traditional detectors generally will not have those problems, so the latest tech may be very stylish but lack of smart detection and accuracy, as such may cause inconvenience to the visitors. Everyone welcomes safety check but the equipment needs to be accurate. This observatory looks very safe as security patrol walk on the levels, plus detectors at the entrance, the security level setting seems even higher than One World Observatory.
We had a great time! The view is spectacular and the displays were informative! Highly recommend!
It was amazing experience so thrilling! The view is so spectacular! You really need to go up there on a good day a clear day! We went up there with no clouds in the sky.
It was okay. High price for the experience I probably wouldn’t do it again. It would be nice if they had a map with landmarks or something to know where things are located.
I have come to View Boston at least 10 times since it opened. This time was totally disappointing and overpriced! 1) They have removed the markers and observation scanners that tell newcomers what they are viewing on the top enclosed floor. Families used to be able to plan their itinerary for visiting Boston! No more. 2) The worst part was the three dimensional landscape view of the city with video scenes and music. The projectors were not all working. It went dark several times and the video was sparsely Boston! Too many fillers like polka dots and clouds. I remember when this presentation went through all four seasons in Boston with GORGEOUS photos of all parts of Boston. And there were exciting photos of Boston’s professional sports teams! This time it was a watered down version full of filler images. 3) There used to be guides (for a fee) and you could be guided through the top floor - for newbies who are interested in the architecture and history of how the skyline evolved over time. Thank goodness it was a beautiful sunny summer day and we could enjoy the weather.
We visited View Boston on Saturday 12th July around 6pm. We paid £24 each. We had seen this attraction reviewed on youtube. Youtubers were seen relaxing with a drink and enjoying the view. Before we paid our money, we were not told that the restaurant/cafe was closed and there was no where we could relax with a drink. We were not told that part of the outdoor deck area was cut off and reserved, that we could not walk all the way round the outdoor deck. There were signs up saying "Welcome Vip Group and the name of the company" I turned a corner on the outdoor deck and I was must have been a good 20m from the sectioned off VIP area. Someone in the VIP started shouting at me. I was just stunned. I'd paid to enjoy this attraction. I wasn't a beggar or hustler. I just turned around. Perhaps section off all that side, so VIP guests dont see the tourists. On leaving the deck. I was waiting for my partner, a security guard shouted at me, this area is closed for VIP's. I was no where near the entrance. I was just waiting for my partner. This was a horrible experience. No one wants to pay £48 to be shouted at twice and a reduced experience. You need to be fair and honest to tourists. The self pay machines were broken. A member of staff took payment for our tickets. He had the chance to tell us "The cafe, restaurant and the deck outside it, are closed, due to a vip event and there is no where to buy a drink and relax". He didnt.
Been to Boston many times, never knew about this. A totally fun and memorable experience. We will definitely be coming back
What a phenomenal experience. Wonderful views, beautiful sunset, interesting things you find out about Boston and the area and I like the gift shop. Getting there was very easy as it's accessible by taking the Green Line to Prudential. Copley Square and Back Bay Station are not that far away. Make sure your phone is charged or you have a camera. On a good day, you can see as far away as western MA and northern NH. The Blue Hills, Fenway Park, Logan Airport, Boston Harbor and Cambridge are just a few of the many sites you will see. I paid $29 to get in, but the prices do slightly vary at times. From the ride in the elevator, to the sights and sounds from up above, the atmosphere is fantastic. I stayed for about two hours this visit. There were a lot of people, but the crowd was moving along. There's ample space to move around. There were a few groups when I was there. It's definitely a great experience for children as I have seen the looks on kids faces. Other pictures I took are posted on Google.
Saturday July 11, 2026. Floor 51 , with the bar and outside deck, was shut down, closed for a private party. I appreciate that someone organized an event for friends and family. The rest of us should have been forewarned, or tickets discounted 75%, since 3/4 of the benefit was not available to us
There is a great view from the top deck of the observation tower, but we did not believe it was worth the cost just to go up and view the city for $35. There is a nice bar at the top, the surrounding glass was kept super clean to be able to clearly view the city, but there are no markers, or indicators of the sites, you need to determine those yourself.
The observation deck view of Boston, MA is in the Prudential Center. It is nice and you get a 360-degree look around the city. The food and drink stations were closed because they were getting ready for a private party. $34 a ticket is a little high and we had to pay $47 for parking.
Excellent and beautiful view of the city. Interesting and informative exhibits. Easy experience for all ages.
No more kiosks, Bistro restaurant permanently closed, status bar closed, no view itinerary upon leaving, no photo keepsakes
there is no restaurant so if you want to eat must go before or after there are no drink or bar I was disappointed because it would be a perfect place to enjoy a coffee or tea with such a great view
Experience overpriced. The views was great that's about it you can do it in 15 minutes. Everything else was whacked. Fake flowers everywhere it didn't make sense. Table and chairs not in order just a 15 walk-around nothing worth that price.
We were late getting to The prudential center because we were late getting back from a duck boat tour but we thought we would still try to see if we could still make the observation deck. We COULD NOT even find where we were supposed to go. There’s no signs directing you and not a sign that says To observation deck. So we didn’t get to go up. We were pretty bummed we didn’t find it.
Great experience, the view of the city in each direction was incredible!! Located in the Prudential building.
Was ok , wouldn’t do again , views are fine but if your used to scale like NYC observatories this can’t compare Staff were non existent
Saw a fbook ad for View Boston and thought we should give it a try since we had extra time. It was a great time with excellent views. There was plenty of room on the deck and the bar was a nice touch. We hung out until a little after sunset, would definitely go back next time we are in the area.
Even though it was raining 🌧️ and windy, this was a great experience. You could see 50% of the City. The atmosphere was so peaceful, clean and inviting. Definitely worth it. I will be returning to the View.
Seeing Boston from the roof top was a privilege and an honor. I got meet a dear friend while touring. She described some the view, shared stories about herself and her family. It is a good place for viewing and connections. I would want to be proposed to up there! Won't you?!
My great nieces and I visited in the evening just before sunset, and the experience was amazing from the moment we stepped out of the elevator — definitely a wow reaction! We spent over an hour exploring the enclosed observation area on the 52nd floor, taking in the incredible views from every angle. Afterward, we took the stairs down to the open deck, which made the experience even better. There’s a bar and light appetizers available if you want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We found a table facing west and watched the sunset as the sky changed colors. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience for all of us.
Firstly what a view!! Great setup for sure and good options for drinks. But here is the issue. We bought the ticket downstairs where the staff were, no issues… expensive but no issues. Walked over to the door to scan ticket to be told there was a private event at 5 but until then could view all sides of the deck - that gave us 45 mins…. We should have been told this when buying the ticket from the staff. Then we sat with a drink after walking round the deck, sitting admiring the view of the city skyscrapers. But at 4.45 we were told we needed to move on as that part of deck was closing for event. We explained we were told we could stay until 5pm, event staff said that wasn’t true and we needed to move to another side…. But the view we wanted was the side that was closing. So we paid a LOT for effectively just 30 mins
The only real reason to go to View Boston is exactly what the name says: the view. The view itself is beautiful, but beyond that, there is not much else there — and the way the space is managed, signed, and staffed is shockingly confusing for a major Boston attraction. The wayfinding was utterly chaotic. The signs were so poorly placed and confusing that it feels obvious no one has walked the guest experience from beginning to end and fixed what does not work. View Boston has been open for years, so this is not a new-opening issue anymore. At this point, the continued confusion says a lot about how much attention is being paid to the basic visitor experience. They really need to get this dialed in. When we arrived, the signs seemed to point “up” toward a restaurant, while other signs pointed toward what looked like bathrooms or possibly an elevator — but it was not obvious what was where. There was also no staff nearby to help direct guests. The bar was closed, the restaurant was closed, and the whole area felt oddly unattended. Trying to figure out how to get to the restaurant was unnecessarily frustrating. Based on the signage, you would think you need to go up, but the restaurant is actually down — one or two flights depending on where you are starting from. It should not be that hard to understand how to navigate a paid attraction. The coin machine was also not working properly and only dispensed one kind of coin. We had to track down a security guard to get help. Fortunately, Roy, one of the security guards on duty, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was one of only two security guards we saw, and he ended up being the person who helped resolve the issue. For the price and the type of venue View Boston is trying to be, the lack of clear signage, staffing, and basic guest assistance was disappointing. The view is worth seeing once, but the overall experience felt poorly organized, under-supported, and unnecessarily frustrating.
Fun to see the city from this point but nothing else to do unless you come after 3pm. No food or drink before 3p. Not advertised as such when booking.
Great view immediately stepping out of the elevator. Huge open space and views all around high above the city.
This is one not to miss!!!! nothing go all the way to the top to start. Come down one level and see the open air observation deck, then make sure you see the indoor exhibits all of them.!!!!
Not only do you get 360 degrees through the glass, there are balcony views outside as well which I wasn’t expecting at all.
Definitely a must see when in Boston. Centrally located and closed to lots of shopping centers. We enjoyed our time here. Thank you.
