Sarah was a wealth of knowledge. Other information we'd received earlier in the day she debunked and gave us the correct information. Lifelong resident, eighteen years at least guiding, she does know her stuff!

Although promoted as an hour it’s more like an hour and a half. I got Trevor he was funny and has a more laid back approach to the tour. In all fairness I was the only one on the tour and he probably felt more comfortable being less structured. Overall great experience and lots of knowledge learned.
Sarah, our guide, was lovely. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the information she shared and appreciated the amount research and effort she has put into her tour.
Worth every penny! Tom was an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and sense of humor! Kept our teens engaged!
Fantastic Tour with wonderful perspective on history. Tour guide was a local. Knowledgeable. Entertaining. Both us as parents and teenage daughter loved the experience
Tom was a great tour guide. He was very knowledge and enthusiastic. He kept us laughing and had a great vibe. Highly recommend!! Bonus to the little dog that joined us. He was great.
Tom was awesome, we had a fantastic tour and learned so much history about the area. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. This was one of the best tours we had
Tom was knowledgeable, entertaining and a lot of fun! We learned so much about the history of the witch trials that we never knew!
My husband and I were inspired to know more on the history of Salem, MA. Thank you to our tour guide, Tom, who enjoys sharing his knowledge & making others welcome in this cool atmosphere!!
I was amazed at the knowledge of changes our tour guide presented. They were knowledgeble and gave new perspective to the witch history
Our guide Kat was wonderful! We chose to take a history tour after our kids learned about the witch trials in school. She asked about what they already knew, tailored the tour a bit to include what we wanted to learn, and shared the history and stories with charm and just the right touch of drama and humor to make it fascinating, without making light of a truly horrible time in our nation’s history or dishonoring the victims. I appreciate that— when asked— she shared a bit of her own story with us and offered a perspective we hadn’t heard before. If I could give 6 stars I would!
We went for the history tour early in November, I guess most people visited the months before so we got a private tour by Eden. Had a great time, Eden told the history really well for us know too familiar with the topics and really enjoyed it!
My friends and I were so impressed with Steps Through 1692 with tour guide, Thomas Vallor! We learned so many fascinating facts about the Salem Witch Trials and Thomas was super fun, very knowledgeable, and entertaining! It was chilly and raining but so worth it!! I would highly recommend this tour!
Amazing experience w/Kat! This is a really great informative tour that is also fun. Kat was great and kept it light while also accurately informing us of the history. I would absolutely take another tour here. I appreciated that Kat asked us before sharing more morbid details, so if trigger warnings are a concern this would be a good tour to take.
This tour was so interesting. I liked seeing the intersection that stands where the trials took place. I also liked learning about the Corwin family, Tom recommend an author Emerson Baker that I will check out. The doggie assistant was so cute and sweet.
Kat really brought Salem to life for us. We had group of 7 people aged 12 to 80 y.o. She answered our questions and told the witch trial details like a pro seasoning the storyline with jokes & entertaining details. Loved the tour! Ease of booking on Halloween day in Salem can be a REAL challenge. This experience was well worth it! ALL OF US ENJOYED-EVEN MY DISBELIEVING IN PARANORMAL HUBBY. TYVM
A fantastic storyteller, our tour guide Tommy did an extraordinary job recreating life in Salem during the witch-hunts. In a style of humorous candor, he also dispersed little snippets of interesting facts throughout our walk. The tour was paced nicely and felt very intimate. I would HIGHLY recommend “Steps Through 1692”. I am making this tour an annual event and next time we are bringing friends!
Kat was amazing! While I knew a little about Salem, she filled in the holes with ease! Very personable and knowledgeable. Thanks!!
Tom was a great guide. Lots of wonderful information in a fun and interesting way. We had a great time.
Devin gave my friend Nicole and I a great history tour of Salem! She was clear, concise, and even told some haunted stories at our request. We were the only ones on our tour, so we felt that she really catered her storytelling to fit our personal interests.
Great tour around the city to see and hear the history of Salem! Our tour guide made the experience, was very knowledgeable, funny and kept us engaged. It was a great time
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and could answer any questions. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Tom was funny and very informative. He knew his stuff and made the tour super fun! I wanted to ask more questions, but I didn’t know enough info prior to going on the trip so I didn’t know what to ask about.
We had a great tour with Tom. Booked three tours in Salem and this was the most informative and fun. Tom is an excellent guide and was able to share information from a historians perspective. My only complaint is the check in at the beginning of the tour. It takes way too long and is unorganized.
I enjoyed hearing the history of the Salem witch trials. There is more to Salem than I realized. Pam was an excellent host😀
Chris was amazing super knowledgeable abd easy going! Highly recommend! Didn't follow the usual tour guide paths so it was more personal and intimate.
Our tour guide, Kim, was great! The tour was really fun and entertaining, and as someone who has done a lot of research on the topic of the Salem Witch Trials (both academically and for fun) I can confirm that this is one of the most historically accurate tours I've been on in Salem and one of the most respectful to the victims of the trials.
Tour guide Tom was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and gave a information packed tour in only an hour!
What an awesome walk through history! I was thinking it would be a little more fantastical or “Witchy” but Kim did an amazing job bring the actual HISTORY to life as we walked through the city. I loved hearing the combination of political and social background to the Salem Witch Trials. I had no idea it was so wrapped up in womens rights and property ownership. I always thought it was much more religiously based! Highly recommend this tour and Kim as a tour guide!
so much fun! most tours were booked, so we snagged this short one last minute. Wish we were able to do a longer tour, or even a ghost tour. Our guide was great though, and combined some of those aspects with our visit. Be sure you are in comfortable walking shoes and bundled up well if you visit in the cold months!
Informative and interesting tour by Pan re: history of Salem witch trials. Perfect length of time, walking distance, and information for myself and my teenage daughters.
Our host was great! I can’t remember his name, but he was very funny and informative. Although it was rainy, we enjoyed the walk through Salem and the historical information be provided us.
Absolutely LOVED this tour! Kami with a K was amazing and so enthusiastic it made the whole tour. We had a young 6 year old and 2 year old she was patient and kind and so informative. Thank you for the great time!
Tom was such a great guide! He is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. This tour was great, especially in October
This was a great tour! Sarah was awesome we got the full Salem experience. Great atmosphere, made us all feel comfortable through the whole tour! (Even with COVID) highly recommend!
Would came back and do the tours again when places are open. The tour guides are doing an awesome job.
We had Tom as a guide, he was great. Great information and entertaining. Nice quick walk thru town hitting on all the top spots.
Cami was an awesome energetic guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about about the history, and landmarks. it was an excellent tour!
We got very lucky and had a private tour with the lovely lady that traveled from Seattle to Salem on a boat (sorry we forgot your name ) she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the witch trials . We had a great time thank you
It was hard to find so we were late (10mins) & they left without us. It was extremely disappointing. It was a waist of $80. We couldn't even find anyone to ask about possible rescheduling . There was no at the address . We were very disappointed.
Had an absolutely amazing time on our tour I found that the smaller group experience was very nice I've been to Salem five times in the past three years twice being in October and the tours were very busy we got to interact with the tour guide more this time than ever so it was very nice our tour guide Kami was great so glad that Miss Sarah Frankie Carter opened her own tour she was an awesome tour guide both times we went on her tour can't wait to come back next year thank you guys again you made my birthday amazing
It was amazing! Our tour guide kami (not sure the spelling!) was super knowledgeable and fun to listen and learn from! Definitely recommend this tour of Salem, you learn about spots you would have never known were part of the history.
All the tour guides were awesome and had tons of great info on the history of Salem. Definitely worth it for the money!!
Tom worked the crowd keeping us engaged. Lots of knowledge about anything you asked about including which craft. My whole family enjoyed it alot.
Short, sweet and to the point. Shortest tour I could find for a reasonable price. The tour guides were very well informed and interesting to listen to!
So fun & Tom our tour guide was fabulous and extremely informative! Such a great event!! We will definitely go again next year & bring more people bc it was a wonderful experience & really interesting coupled with entertaining.
Our tour guide was great loved it learned so much got to see great landmarks got to walk around areas I didn’t know was there
We got some great, well presented, and accurate history with sympathy for the victims and understanding of the social climate if the era. We got lucky with a very small group. Everything is easy walking distance. Recommended.
Short and sweet...very informative. Our tour guide was friendly and personable. The walking tour was about 30 minutes. Uni, our guide, told us numerous stories about the “witches” and ghosts of 1692. Enjoyable walk through the center of Salem...definitely recommend
